The room was very old. I couldn’t use the jacuzzi because it didn’t look very clean — I actually expected better. The location was good, but I don’t think it was worth booking a room with a bath.

Bradley and Dais are very nice, and the place has a really good atmosphere. However, the service needs improvement. We asked four times during our stay of several nights for someone to fix the TV, but it never happened. The daily cleaning was partial, and something was missing each time. The internet was also unstable.

I stayed at the Grand Manita for three weeks, with a short break. It was very cozy, a small resort with a wonderful garden that was tended daily. Right on the beach, with a small, but very nice pool. Great location, especially some of the higher rooms where you get a view of the beach. The staff are friendly and attentive to our needs. Rooms were great with a mini kitchen if we needed and hot water (if we needed too). Away from the madness of Haad Rin so can’t hear club music, but depending on where your room is, you may hear some noise from the road. Would definitely stay here again!

Paweena is a great host, loved the stay. The morning view from the upper room is amazing, the sunset is beautiful. Some reviews said there’s no privacy, but the window glass has a privacy film so no one can really see inside. The room also was clean and had all the kitchen utensils needed for preparing meals for two.

Nice bungalow near the beach. It takes about 45 minutes to walk to Haad Rin (ful moon perty), but the road is uphill and difficult. Take a tuk-tuk, 100 baht per person. The air conditioner didn't work. On the same day they called a repairman and fixed it. Our bungalow did not have a refrigerator. When we asked to put our food in the refrigerator at the reception, we were refused.

It’s been such a wonderful stay. The beach side apartment we stayed is amazing, Paulo and his teamare extremely kind and helpful. Airport pick up was perfectly organised. The apartment, specifically the extremely cosy bed, was so beautiful, with a phantastic private jacuzzi on the terrace. Stay there, it’s worth it!

Lovely accommodation directly on the Mainstreet on the beachside of north samui. I was staying for just 1 night and everything was perfect. The staff was super friendly. Due to the street nearby it was a little noisy until midnight but it’s nothing that oropax could not fix. On the next day I did a quick 10 minute walk to catch my ferry to Koh phangan.

We stayed overnight at this hotel and it was fantastic. Nice and clean, spacious, with a restaurant, and a 7-11 next door and even some clothes shops. The hotel is in a truck park or filling station but you don’t hear any noise from it. The staff were very friendly and I would defo stay here again.

Secret Garden is my go-to place on Koh Samui. All staff are welcoming, friendly and treat me like family. The rooms are comfortable, clean and well-positioned on the beach or around the pool. Food and drinks are very good coupled with weekly entertainment adds a big perk! I highly recommend Secret Garden!

The pool is really nice and being right on the beach is a plus. Reception was friendly at first, but often absent when we needed them. The restaurant staff weren’t very welcoming, and the room felt a bit strange, with the bathroom not well maintained. Also, trash was being put out literally right under our bathroom window at night, which was unpleasant.

We didn’t stay at Samui Pier but did visit for lunch and let our teenagers burn off some energy in the water park. And returned multiple times over our 2 week stay further along the beach.
