The location is good. Room is smelly and pretty basic. Staff are not friendly at all. For every toilet paper, you have to ask. We booked the place for a month. They said will clean the room every two days. But sometimes they just don't. The woman who owns the place doesn't accept reminder. So don't ever try to tell her what to do.

After having an awful experience at the hotel next door, we had came to Hut Sun bungalows searching for somwhere to stay. We had discovered this little jem with very much luck. We stayed 4 nights, and had an overall nice staying. The room was spacious and with A/C , comfortable bed, nice balcony. Only problem was the plumbing, twice our toilet was clogged. We intended to only stay for one week but are still here. Owner has been very easy to deal with and professional. She is obviously very busy running the resort on her own but has always been available and responsive. Staff are very friendly and, whilst some are still being trained, are doing a very good job. Fantastic spot on the beach. Hotel is a very quiet place with beautiful sea views. We had house 1, highly recommended. Friendly welcome by the French owner. Ideal base to explore the island. Another plus is that it is within walking distance of a scooter rental.

Small place, but we found it very nice. The beach is not to die for, but swimming pool, bar, environment is really nice. Rooms are quiet, bathroom a bit out dated but fonctional, really good bed and bedding. Jor, the chef is a very good cook and it worth eating in.

Booked to stay here before moving onto Koh Phangan; only I'd stupidly booked the wrong month. Luckily, the night receptionist found us a room and also managed to refund the wrong booking. Great service. The breakfast sandwich and drink were also decent.

Bed was super comfortable. Only stayed one night before catching the ferry to Samui. Was a great place to crash for the night after 8 hours of driving. Got there just before sunset, 100% worth the ocean view. Was a bit noisy with the shuttle boat going in and out but honestly it was more charming and added to the coolness of the place. Would 100% stay here again.

overall the hotel is not bad. New. Everywhere smells fine. The room is cozy. The shower is spacious and hot. The bed linen is fresh and pleasant to the body. Bungalows are relatively small, but enough for two-tjree people. Service is every other day but you can ask at the reception anytime, as well as ask for toiletries. This place could be great. However it has been neglected for a long time. As you can see from the photos, it has not been renovated. Toilet doesn’t flush, no hot water, walls dirty and paint peeling, moldy walls and dangerous and cutting tiles. If owners put a little effort, this could be a little paradise.

Each unit have its own dedicated building. The unit i stay have 2 floor and can stay up to 4 people. Room was ok, a lot of space and well-prepared. Other thing i spot is the room on the 1st floor have a stepped floor in front of the bed. It's quite dangerous, you may need to watch your step.

Nice quiet place both for vacation stay and long stay. Overwhelming view from seaview bungalows, i.e. you can observe a beautiful bay with sunsets and many islands, including Ko Samui and Ko Tao. This place is awesome, we just got back from staying here with our two kids. The accommodation is a hut which is clean and tidy and we had two beds and a smaller side room for our son. The cleaning staff are great and came in daily, the bathroom has a decent shower and the beds are comfortable with mosquito nets and good air conditioning. Best food and best value on Thong Pan Nai beach. Friendly and attentive staff. Dishes we tried green chicken curry, Tom Yum Goong Chicken rice soup and many more. All dishes were tasty and of a generous size. Most meals for 2 with drink we paid no more than 500baht. .

Great place to stay in Koh Phangan! A perfect spot where catch a sunset,relax and sleep with the sound of sea . 5 km from Haad Rin( full moon party) and all that for a very cheap price. I'll back to stay here for sure!

Management was not nice. When booking rooms before holidays book just for the holiday dates and later book again. The price per day went down from 1000 when booking before the new year to 350 thb for the same dates right after new year.

Clean room, room with fan not too hot in the night, very quit. Beach is not beautiful but okay. Restaurant is medium priced. Scooter rent for 250 baht per day.

Place is nice and clean, super friendly staff and a nice doggie. They got everything: bikes for rent, laundry, breakfast, good wifi. Nice restaurants in the area. 20 min drive to full moon and 10 to the pier. Shower needs a bit of work, but overall good value for money, highly recommended

Great location, plenty of parking, room was big for 3 person and for the price, and bathtub was a bonus, clean toilet and shower area, balcony, they also provide 6x 500ML bottle water during my stay, only downside is too many mosquito, they do provide the mosquito smacker thing so you can destroy your enemies

The highlight of this hotel is the staff, they made us feel so welcomed and helped with any requests we had to the best of their ability. The hotel is an older building but from the looks of it has been recently refurbished and was great value for money.

This place is basic. Definitely in need of some improvement in furniture, black mold and moldy smell in the washroom- evening after I requested that it was cleaned. The staff are great and the rooms are clean.

Very high standard of rooms and a very fun place. Very fun to be so close to the quiet sea, hearing the wind, the birds, blue water, blue sky. You don't need more than that in life.

Very reasonably priced accomodation within a five minute walk to the wonderful salad beach. A complimentary basic breakfast is offered here which was a great surprise to us. Fan bungalow was basic, clean and just what we wanted. Lovely little porch and some great shared chill out areas. The staff are delightful. For the price it has been a great stay and I highly recommend. We stayed in the Standard Bungalow for 5 nights, and without aircon we thought it was going to be nightmare fuel but the fans were enough and almost the perfect temperature to just lay down and chill after a swim at the beach which is 200m down the track or the pool in the resort which was actually quite nice. Had a great experience here. Sébastien the host is fantastic, he will help you with everything you need. Right on the beach, super quiet area away from most amenities so a rental vehicle is a must. Rooms are good for what it is. Only drawback is that I wish the bathroom had a bit more privacy rather than being behind the bed with half a wall (headboard) and no door.

I recommend this place for many reasons. I spent one week there and for me it was the best place to breath peace and calm. I felt better than my home.
