I stayed at Yalihan Aspendos and at first I was truly impressed – the hotel is beautiful, the facilities are great, and the atmosphere is lovely. But sadly, my experience at the beach changed everything. There was a stray dog, so sweet, calm and harmless. I gave him some food, but then a staff member in a white shirt came and chased him away. Watching this broke my heart. Stray dogs in Turkey already face so much suffering and poor treatment, and I had hoped that here at least, they would be treated with kindness and compassion.
Because of this incident, I cannot give more than 3 stars, even though the hotel itself deserves 5. If management takes this issue seriously and ensures that such situations will not happen again, I am more than willing to change my rating to 5 stars.
Thank you for your reply and for addressing the incident with the dog. I would also like to kindly suggest setting up a permanent food and water station for the two or three small cats living around the hotel. This is essential, as I noticed during my stay how much they appreciated the food and water I provided for them. Many guests truly love these cats, and it would be wonderful if they could always rely on having access to fresh water and food.

Amazing AMAZING. Suchhhh friendly staff, especially Ersin in the restaurant & all the receptionists staff. Will definitely be coming back. The aesthetics of this hotel are unmatched.

Really good, definitely aimed more at adults as there isn't really entertainment etc but a really nice place with excellent service. It did take a lot of cocktails to feel anything....not sure if spirits are diluted but it may genuinely have just been the heat.

We had a really great time with my sister and her beautiful children. I appreciate all the services at this hotel and especially the staff, who completely charmed us. At the end of our stay, we really liked how one of the nicest people on the staff, Cansu Görgülü (I hope she wrote that correctly), brought our drinks and a little attention as soon as we sat down for the evening program. A beautiful gesture and attention. I would definitely like to go back there if I could right away. I fell in love.

We have been coming here for years, and it truly feels like our second home. The atmosphere is peaceful and ideal for those looking to relax and unwind.

This is a lovely hotel, the rooms are light and well maintained. The hotel itself is lovely, with a good-sized pool and private section of beach. The 2 special restaurants (seafood and itallian) are absolutely fabulous, and the service in these restaurants is first class.
The food in the main restaurant is good but can become a bit monotonous after a while. But the servers in the main dining restaurant are good. The only thing for us with the main dining restaurant is the evening meal times, it's open 1900-2100 so it's absolutely rammed at 1900, we tended to go at around 2015 which was less busy, if it opened 1800-2100 it would give more options for evening dining in a not so busy environment.
Special mention to the young lady who works the lobby bar in late afternoons. Sorry, I forgot her name, but she was wonderful, so attentive.
The hotel is just a short walk from the local town across the bridge, where there are plenty of shopping options.
All said its a lovely location, with really lovely staff.

Horrible. The Room was sandy and full of crumbles as well as dusty bedsheets and furnitures. It was disgusting. Walls are thin and you can hear the highway on one side and the loud music from other hotels on the other. Impossible to get sleep. The restroom is dirty, rusty and also disgusting - we didn’t have the guts to take a shower there. The food was not good, mostly because the atmosphere is very uninviting and already makes you feel like the food is gonna taste bad. Sadly that presumption turned reality and don’t ask me how but they manage to burn everything, even scrambled eggs…
The staff doesn’t understand English or German. We’ve tried to tell them about certain problems or requests but the language barrier was too big even for the simplest of things. When we came back to ants in our room, we knew it was time to go. We booked 7 days but stayed for only 2 nights. We felt very sick when we were there and as soon as we were in another hotel we started feeling better immediately.
I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone - stay away from it as far as possible!

Not so much food to choose on. So difficult to find something to eat. You have to pay extra for the sunbed madrass. Good beach, good drinks. Very bad wifi. Very small pool and little sunbeds.

We were 3 with our son. We have arrived the hotel at 14:00. The room was not ready. We waited for 30-40 munites. First off all the room (Bathroom,furnitures, Air conditioner, television) is very very old and uncared. You cannot set the temperature of Air conditioner.
They bring us additional bed for my son, bu it is impossible to sleep on it.
Foods are under expectation.
There less staf then what should be.
The sea, view and the beach is good. Unfortunatly, it is the worst hotel I have ever stay.

We were very pleased with Yalihan Aspendos, where we spent 3 nights with my family.
My comments:
The staff were very friendly and also smiling, although it was not clear because of the mask :) if we needed anything, they could recognize it even before we asked them.
The foods were very nice. The variety of fruits could have been more, especially banana... However, the desserts were great and some of them had also banana ;)
I can say that the location of the hotel is the best among the hotels on the same coastline. You can watch the sunset both from the beach and from your room, as it is located near the corner.
In terms of cleaning, I can say that the staff who work in the beach area and the cafe were very active and careful.
The sea and the beach were good. I spent only a little bit of time in the pool area, but my family spent more time there, they were happy.
There were very few social activities due to the COVID-19 conditions. But, as someone coming from Barcelona, it was better to rest for me...
In general, I was a little nervous when I looked at the reviews while researching the hotel, but we had a very nice 3-night holiday. I would like to thank Yalihan Aspendos family, especially Mehmet Bey.
