Location is fine. It’s a busy place with a lot of nightlife. It doesn’t go on for to long but it’s buzzing! The room however is an absolute nightmare. Picture of booking show a compact but well maintained room. The really? Everything but that! Mold in many places, a faucet that was leaking for 4 days! Shower didn’t drain, everything was worn. I can keep going.. The host is just completely ignorant of any feedback and only replies that you get what the pictures of booking show. Please save yourself the shock and skip this place!!!

I'm not criticizing, let me list the good and bad, you decide. There are no bugs in the rooms, no air conditioning, no toilet or bathroom, soap, shampoo, slippers, towels, no breakfast... There is a television, a wardrobe, a small refrigerator, a table and chairs, and curtains that smell like cigarette smoke. The price is 300.

First of all, it has a very central location. You're just two steps away from Beşiktaş Bazaar 👍. The bus stop and boat/ferry pier are very close, and there are plenty of taxis on the street 🙂. The weekly cleaning is very regular 🙂. The price is quite reasonable ☀️. My room overlooks three streets and the main street 🌈. I have a spacious view ☺️. They have an agreement with a laundry company; they come and pick up and drop off 😉. It's in a safe location 😇. The staff is very attentive 🤓.

I work as a manager at a hotel. I've been here for about two years. I'm very pleased with the services of the academy hostel and Ercan's warm approach. The location is close to everything. It's a very clean and nice place in a central location. I recommend it to my friends.

The heating isn't on during the day, and it's impossible to sit still in the room because of the cold. At night, it's on at a very low setting. You can't stay in the room without getting under the covers.
It's a very noisy place, and you wake up frequently. Guests at the hostel slam the doors and toilet seats at night, and some turn the TV up loud to deliberately disturb others.
The music from the bar directly across the street makes it difficult to sleep.
The shower and toilet are practically one on top of the other, so you practically shower on top of the toilet.
The cleanliness of the sheets, duvet covers, and pillowcases is questionable. Small insects crawl on the duvet covers.
