I stayed at pera capitol Hotel in Istanbul for 15 days, and I cannot recommend it enough. The staff were incredibly kind—they surprised me by upgrading my economy room to a beautiful balcony room, even though I hadn’t expected it. The whole hotel has this cozy, local charm that made me feel right at home. Every morning, the breakfast was a highlight—delicious and diverse. Every member of the team had such a warm personality, and their attention to detail made my stay truly excellent. I will definitely be returning!

I was very disappointed with this stay. I booked 2 Queen Rooms, which should clearly accommodate 4 persons, but because I selected 2 persons during booking, the hotel insisted on charging extra for the other 2 guests. I contacted Agoda for help, but both Agoda and the hotel claimed this was “hotel policy” — yet no policy was ever shown. This felt unfair and misleading.

On top of that, the hotel was extremely noisy at night due to nearby nightclubs. Loud music continued until 3–4 a.m., making it almost impossible to rest.

The location made things worse. The hotel is on a steep hill, so reaching it requires climbing uphill, and the room was very small, adding to the overall discomfort.

This experience was frustrating and exhausting. If I had known all of this, I would never have booked this hotel.

The room was too small, with no windows or a balcony. There was trash in the bin, the shower was dirty, the towel rack was broken, and it looked nothing like the photos. They refused to issue an invoice.

This hotel is the worst hotel in the city of Istanbul. I do not recommend anyone staying in this hotel. The staff are extremely rude and on top of that they will try to scam you when they see fit. When I attempted to fix an issue that involved paying extra, they called me a liar and cursed at me because I didn’t agree with the amount they wanted to charge. A complete break of professionalism and character on their part. So many other nicer hotels around the area with a reasonable price. So do yourselves a favor do not stay here!

My stay at this hotel was an absolute nightmare. I was violently awakened at 2:30 AM by staff banging on my door and yelling for me to check out. This was not just disruptive; it was terrifying. I felt unsafe and completely disrespected as a guest. The level of unprofessionalism displayed by the staff was appalling. Instead of providing a welcoming environment, they created a situation that was both stressful and humiliating. I’ve never experienced such a lack of basic hospitality in my life. I genuinely hope this hotel goes bankrupt. They clearly don’t care about their guests, and it shows. The staff should face the consequences of their actions, and I wouldn’t wish this experience on anyone. Save your money and avoid this place at all costs.

Small hotel very near to istklal street the people who work there are helpful especially the old man
The breakfast was good the first 2 days then it became beyond basic
The a.c wasn't working properly we asked many times to send some to fix it but nothing happened.

Worst experience ever. I booked 2 nights from 6th till 8th of September. Although I checked in late almost on 7th of September at 12:30 am, the bed and pillows sheets were not clean, and I requested them to be changed. The toilet paper roll was not new one, almost half of it was used. The second day, the room was not cleaned, and there was no bottle of water, they said they provide bottle of water once, and we had to refill it from the lobby. Also when my friend complained about the wifi, they replied "but no one complained, restart your mobile" The breakfast was very very poor and tastes awful. Budget rooms means smaller one, doesn't mean cleanliness.

The only negative point was the walls were to thin and so you can hear the noise of neighbour's rooms clearly
