The dining hall was literally tearing at the seams, the cushions were torn open and the old deteriorating foam was on full display. The electrics also failed briefly leaving us eating in the dark for a moment. The 'coffee bar' was closed and smelt like it had been for a moment, if it's otherwise open frequently they most certainly need to clean better.
We walked around to check out other parts of the hotel...
Basement looks dismall and it's the entrance to the lacklustre spa.
Upstairs is like a giant store room just random wrap everywhere and mess. Missing parts on doors to the hall etc.
It's also in an industrial estate with virtually nothing around it (bars, cafes etc)
It seems they want to do the right thing its just badly managed top down. Money needs to be spent here and attention needs to improve. Get the little things right and it will all fall into place.
The blonde lady who came to check on our table was also told all of this and seemed totally surprised. Maybe start there.
The staff were incredibly friendly, and the breakfast was excellent. A special thanks to Suray and Atila, the breakfast hosts — they were both very polite, professional, and made the experience even better.
Overall, a great stay. I highly recommend Rotta Hotel!
The bed sheet was not clean when we arrived, also the room itself was not 100% clean, but it was okay for us. We were used to high clean standards before.
It’s located an industrial zone so cannot find any place to explore. Overall is average
