Reviews
I enjoyed all my long staying there, walking in the neighbours and thankful for all the support from Moustafa and Safy.
I am not saying everything is perfect, there are room for improvements and I think they should do. I did check most of the hotels there and compared their price, service and quality. In that respect, it is the best place for the price with nice trustworthy people.
With all the respect I have for the staff of this hotel, I do not recommend staying there.
This was by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. It felt more like a run-down hostel than a hotel. The condition of the rooms was shockingly poor—dust everywhere, and clearly not cleaned properly. As someone with asthma and breathing issues, I had to clean the room myself just to be able to stay in it.
The noise was unbearable. You could hear toilet flushes from other rooms at all hours, which was both disgusting and disturbing. I barely slept during my stay.
Breakfast was extremely basic and poorly served, and the staff were not friendly or helpful at all. There was no sense of hospitality.
This experience was so bad that I ended up changing my flight and returning home earlier than planned. I absolutely do not recommend this hotel to anyone—it was a complete waste of money and ruined my trip to Istanbul.
There's also little grocery stores, souvenir shops, ice cream and restaurants on the street. The room had the basic things you need, mainly a mini fridge and a comfortable bed. The breakfast on the terrace was tasty with a lovely view, I looked forward to it daily. The staff were so friendly and helpful! Having wifi was great too.
The rooms are a little on the older side, but they're nice and have some great views. The beds are extremely comfortable.
The breakfast is a basic Turkish spread with some nice variety, there's also cereal and some English choices.
The terrace is awesome with some of the best views of Ayasofya and the blue mosque which are both literally 'around the corner'. I've taken pictures and shared so take a look.
There are plenty of food places near the hotel too.
The service is great for the breakfast, the receptionists are friendly, and the rooms are decent, they are not fancy but good. The price for what it delivers is cool!
Highly recommended!
Visited this atmospheric city for the 3rd time in Spring 2018.
