Very budget friendly and only 1 min from the tram, Blue Mosque, Hagia Sofia, Basilica Cistern and short walk to the Grand Bazaar and other shopping areas. You’re right at the heart of everything in Sultanahmet.
Rooms are simple and clean with all necessary amenities, but dim lighting. Larger family rooms face the street and have more natural light. Nice staff and there’s a restaurant right in front to grab chai or a meal anytime.

Its a great place to stay. Location is excellent. All attractions in old city are just few minutes walk away. Metro station is also near. You can get all kinds of food downstairs. Staff is so friendly and helpful. I thouroghly enjoyed my stay here. Only thing missing is a lift, but in price, I think its best place to stay.

One of the best small hotels in the very center of Istanbul!

Special thanks to the owner, who genuinely cared and checked if everything was fine during our stay.
The housekeeping staff worked quickly and attentively, changing towels whenever needed.
Despite being in the heart of the city, the soundproofing is excellent — we slept peacefully every night.
The location is perfect — just a short walk from all the main sights of Istanbul, including Hagia Sophia, the Blue Mosque, and the Grand Bazaar.
Highly recommended to anyone looking for comfort, cleanliness, and true Turkish hospitality.

I recently stayed at Oldmiles Hotel in Sultanahmet, and I couldn’t have been more pleased with the experience. The location is unbeatable, situated in the heart of Istanbul’s historic district, just a short walk from major attractions like the Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, and Topkapi Palace. The staff were incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort throughout the stay.

It was a very nice little hotel. The location is great. Walking distance to all the historical sites. A clean hotel. Mr. Hakan was very interested. He answered all the questions we had. Unfortunately the breakfast at the hotel is just okay. We came knowing this. It is a reasonably priced place. We recommend. We were satisfied.

I came in December so it was fairly quiet, but if you come in the warm months there will surely be a large crowd. The terrace upstairs offers good views around and a good place to meet people. Located very well right off the Sultanhamet Tram stop, and very convenient to get to almost anywhere in Istanbul. Offers cheap breakfast, cheap ride to airport, and nice rooms with heat/ac and warm water for shower. Wifi is average. Hosts are very helpful, and informative. Great place to stay, especially for backpackers.
