This was one of the worst accommodation experiences we have ever had. We were forced to leave after one night due to a severe cockroach infestation. Every single time the lights were switched on, cockroaches ran across the room. This is unacceptable and unhygienic. The bathroom was filthy, extremely small, and smelled terrible. The bedding was dirty. The walls were paper thin, and despite complaining to management about excessive noise from neighbouring guests, nothing was done. Sleep was impossible. The room was ridiculously small. There was no space to open a suitcase or even walk properly. This property is absolutely not suitable for families or anyone travelling with luggage. Breakfast was disgraceful. Boiled eggs were the closest thing to food served. Bread was left out in a plastic shopping bag straight from the store, which is unhygienic and lazy. This is not what any reasonable person would consider breakfast. The location is on a very busy street with traffic and noise continuing until after 2 a.m. Combined with the condition of the room, this made the stay unbearable. The manager admitted the conditions were unacceptable and promised a refund. Since then, all messages have been ignored and no refund has been processed. The lack of accountability is shocking. Avoid this property at all costs. We will never return and will never recommend this place to anyone.

Great stay. Amazing views, breakfast, staff. Everyone is so smiley. Stay here for a positive environment yummy food. I stayed here for one night and I would've stayed longer if I didn't have a layover flight next morning. I was treated kindly by staff Jon Ismail and the rest of the staff. Everyone is so helpful and treats you like a human, not just a customer. I'll be back!

The best hotel for the money, daily cleaning, great location, friendly staff, clean linen, hot water, delicious breakfast, everything you need and need is in the room, my wife and I took economy - we also got a view of the Bosphorus.

Very friendly staff! The rooms are spacious and hygienic. Wifi is available everywhere in the hotel. Also with breakfast every morning! Nice terrace where you can sit in the evening. The hotel is located within walking distance of several important sights. In short, it is a great location with very nice staff who work there. Recommended! :)

We have stayed 1 week with our family. Totally disagree as they did not provide with the room they promised. The rooms are not spacious enough. Cleanliness is 0. There were bedbugs and bit my aunt. She had allergic reactions for 2 weeks!!! The rooms have old furnitures and bed.

A very good hôtel Great location near to all metro train tram stations Nice view bosphore ships yachts galata tower .. wonderful ! What is special and amazing is the staff .. they are sooooo kind and very helpful.. I highly recommend this hôtel for a great vacation

Great location, right in front of the Marmaray metro line. The rooms are super small. But that's not the main thing. The worst thing is the bedbugs. We stayed for a week and didn't immediately realize we were being bitten. We asked to be moved to another room, and there the bites were even worse (first we stayed on the 6th floor, then on the 3rd floor). The itching took another three or four days to go away. Horrible. I recommend closing the hotel and treating it for bedbugs. The bedbugs are the only reason I'm writing this review. The staff is generally okay. Uncle Cowboy is friendly, the receptionist is fine, and there was also a Russian-speaking girl working there.

People, save your nerves and money! Don't come here. First of all, they really do lie about the room category. You book a standard room with a balcony, not an economy room, and they put you in a smelly, old, and dirty room in the building across the street. After a lot of fuss, they move you to the main building the next day, but it's not much better. Everything leaks, everything is falling apart, everything is dirty, the towels are gray, the bed is smelly and moldy, and hasn't been washed in years... Basically, I could go on and on about how dirty it is here, but the bottom line is: don't come!

We stayed at the Grand Esen Hotel for 6 days. The rooms are VERY small and not the cleanest. Breakfast is absolutely OK for the price. But the location is top notch. Very central and many sights are within easy walking distance. Tram and bus in the immediate vicinity. The hotel staff are very nice and helpful. The original of the house "Cowboy" is particularly nice and we had a lot of fun with him. Conclusion: Price - performance is absolutely OK

Lots of issues. They advertise nice room and facilities but when I reach there they offer me room into next building. Room condition was not as expected. Room refrigerator not working , TV has no signals, no sheet or duvet for sofa bed, toilet has smell, rusty taps and door lock. I ask them to change room or fixed these thing but point bec no one can understand proper english.
