Didn't stay at the hotel, but visited the cafe downstairs since it was recommended by the travel agency. It was quite an unpleasant experience. The young person tending to the cafe was very uninterested in us arriving or even getting a table. I ordered a coffee, but they only had tea, although apparently their coffee was supposed to be excellent. Sure. Not speaking English is okay, but not trying is not fine.

The sandwich that I got was a complete disaster. It was supposed to come with three layers of cheese, and the picture on the menu also had some meat sliced inside the sandwich. I received no meat, and the sandwich arrived with perhaps half a layer of cheese (an incredibly stingy amount) and the bread was burned around the edges. The orange juice we got wasn't freshly squeezed either, but it tasted alright.

The service was lackluster, and the food (170lira for the sandwich) was outrageous. Even though there were hardly any customers, I had to go hail the server over so that I could pay. Disappointing.

The food was an average. The pasta served with very little sauce and parmesan cheese which are they key for making this pasta.
