Azak Beach Hotel in Alanya

1: The distance from the airport to the hotel was far. Transfer journey to the hotel, we were told 2 hours but it took 5hours. It felt like driving from
London to the north.
2: When we reached to the hotel at 12:40am the man at reception was not welcoming, we were not offered a bottle of water or a sandwich after having a long journey. There was no kettle in our room to make a drink, the fridge had 2 miniature water cups but the fridge didn't seem cold enough. Temperature 37 degrees you should not have to ask for a drink of water it should be given on arrival.
3: No lighting along the corridor.
4: We were on the 4th floor the lift broke down my mum has a knee impairment there were no handrails to assist her to get up and down the stairs she was restricted to the room on the day that the lift broke down, because she has a fear of falling. It was clear to see that the lift was old, and some parts of the hotel was dated.
5: People smoke in restaurants, rooms, reception,balcony there are no restrictions therefore there is no equality you should not have to inhale nicotine whilst having a meal.
6: On the way to breakfast there was a make shift ramp to get to the restaurant area where the breakfast was being served. This is very dangerous because there is no rail or anything to hold onto. My mother had to hold onto me to get up and down the make shift ramp.
7. At the bar the only all inclusive alcoholic drinks on offer was beer, gin and vodka.

Overall, it was a relaxing holiday as there was a lovely beach not even minutes from the hotel grounds (the sea was a bit rough), the pool on the grounds was well kept. There was lots of salad and fruit to choose from but the food was average.
