Reviews
The villa area is very nice — spacious, quiet, and well-maintained. We stayed in a swim-up villa right by the pool on the ground floor. It felt more like a small house than a hotel room, with two comfortable bedrooms. Perfect for privacy and a relaxed stay.
Rooms / Villas
The villa itself was cozy and well-equipped. Evening comfort was good, but note that the villa bar only operates from 11:00 to 18:30. If you want to relax in the evening after the beach, there’s nowhere to eat or drink on-site!
Food & Drinks
The main building houses an older restaurant — fairly basic and not always fully stocked, but the food was generally tasty. Juice at the bars was poor (overly diluted), wine was okay, and champagne in other bars was not good. At one of the bars by the pool, you could find imported spirits like whiskey.
Winehouse was not working.
Bars & Entertainment
Music was terrible, and there was almost no entertainment. The only night bar, open after midnight, offered mostly fries, burgers, and 3 local spirits — vodka, brandy, and gin. If something ran out, there was nothing else available.
Beach & Leisure
Beaches were fine. On the beach, there were only beer and maybe some lemonade. Fruits were supposed to be available, but each time we saw only a few leftover apples. For other food or drinks, you had to go to the main area, which was not very convenient.
Summary
If your priority is a quiet villa by the pool with basic beach and dinner access, this could work — especially for non-demanding travellers! Price-quality is reasonable, and the food is decent, but evening entertainment, drink variety, and convenience are limited. Overall, we preferred the next hotel we stayed at nearby ( the norm oriental ), which offered much better facilities in everything!!
Service
A thank you to all the staff — the service was pleasant and attentive. Unfortunately, I would not return to this hotel.
Villa- 4 ⭐️
Main aria - 3 ⭐️
From the very beginning, there was no welcome or hospitality at check-in. The reception procedures were handled carelessly. When we entered our room, we were shocked: the rooms were completely old, poorly maintained, and smelled of dampness. There was no extra bed for the children. Although we informed the reception, nothing was done for more than 5 hours. When I went down again to ask, a receptionist (who introduced herself as Ayla) spoke in an extremely rude and disrespectful manner, saying: “What’s the problem? It will come, we already told you!” This kind of behavior is simply unacceptable.
The staff in general were rude, unfriendly, and unmotivated. The service quality was extremely poor. The restaurant was a complete disaster: the smell of sewage mixed with the food smell was unbearable. The bar area also smelled terrible, and the glasses were always dirty with coffee and tea stains. Even the intern at the ice cream stand was careless and unprofessional.
During our stay, there were only two German Familiys besides us, and they shared the same negative opinion about the hotel. The majority of the other guests were Russian.
In conclusion, this hotel is a total disappointment. Neither the service, nor the hygiene, nor the staff’s attitude matches what you would expect from a 5-star hotel. It is truly a mystery how this place has been rated as 5 stars and even labeled as “premium.”
The personnel across the hotel were consistently unfriendly, and it felt like customer service was their last priority. There was no sense of hospitality or care throughout my stay, making it a frustrating experience from start to finish.
I would never recommend this place to anyone. If you're looking for a stress-free, welcoming stay, avoid this hotel at all costs.
It caters for all faiths and backgrounds including anyone with disabilities such as mobility or Autist which is perfect 👌
Cleaners are okay but always seem angry and frustrated and constantly making groaning noises or hmmph!! The food service is a buffet service however we always felt rushed whilst the waiters kept trying to take our filled cups and food off the table in order to finish and go home.
Deserts are all rubbish compared to the UK mark my word and tell if it's true or not.
Drinks from dispensers taste average.
Food not amazing but livable, but I guess it's because there's soo many people to cater for, no hot milk most times and waiters will never get your baby hot milk so please don't take any children, I was lucky I taken long life milk from the UK and warmed it up and fed my 3 kids that way.
Warm your milk in a kettle at the hotel is your only option most likely.
The massage therapy sessions were supposed to be 90 minutes but I got 70 because of discount most likely as I watched the time. The last 20 minutes of the 70 minutes were a face mask (mud applied to the face then you wash it off yourself) not a part of the pampering I guess.
Poo stain on the disabled toilet for 5 day straight. Burgers in the hut taste like old mincemeat when we arrived at Simena at 2am.
Apart from all that we got into the rhythm eventually and went to Maldives and the land of legends which also cost a fortune.
As the hotel is an all inclusive, the buffet, salad bar, fruit baskets and grill had plenty of fresh foods to offer during breakfast, lunch and dinner. I was really impressed with the selection of deserts as I've attached a photo. There is a separate outdoor section that offered delicious Gozleme and Pide during lunch where you could also see the lady handmaking, rolling and preparing the dough. We also went to the spa during our stay, we enjoyed it so much the first time we went towards the end of our stay again. The spa team were very professional and full of information as they were answering our questions and giving advice with great detail. To the hotel as a whole every staff member went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was nothing short of perfection. The team is very hard working during this busy season. The guests were very active during the Ramazan Bayram and as there is a bar/disco area everyone was dancing and enjoying their night. The beach was in a walkable distance or you can take a short golf cart trip, either way the water was refreshing and beautiful. We also visited the Tahtali Teleferik (cable car) and the reception and security guards were very helpful in making sure we knew our way. We were also referred to a boat tour which was the cherry on top for me as we went to the Suluada Island - beautiful beaches, tranquil waters and exceptional and humorous tour guides - I do recommend this hotel as in my experience, I'm left very fulfilled.
All in all, a delightful hotel to stay in.
