Reviews
We were given a room on the top floor, right in the center, with a full sea view (extra charge, but totally worth it!). The room was clean and comfortable, housekeeping came daily to clean, replace towels, and restock the minibar.
However, we were a bit disappointed with the food. While there was plenty of variety, it often felt like quantity was prioritized over quality. Most of the dishes were rather bland, and the selection was quite repetitive day to day, with only a few exceptions.
On the positive side, they used well-known, high-quality brands, like Coca-Cola for soft drinks. One downside we noticed was the elevator situation. There are only three elevators for the entire building, which is not really enough – especially during busy hours.
Coming down from the top floor often meant waiting 5 to 10 minutes, which got a bit frustrating at times.
The beach was absolutely beautiful – clean, well-maintained, and surprisingly not overcrowded. There was always enough space for everyone to relax comfortably.
The pool area was also nice, though due to the high number of families, sunbeds and umbrellas tended to be taken early in the morning – so make sure to go down early if you want a good spot.
One of the highlights of the hotel was the non-stop entertainment. From around 10 AM to 10 PM, there were various activities and shows going on all the time. It’s a perfect spot for families with kids, as there’s always something to do.
The cocktails are great, and the entertainment is fun and high-quality. The only disappointment was the two-hour boat trip.
Overall, we arrived with no expectations and left fully satisfied. If you can’t feel good here, you won’t feel good anywhere.
Things that, in my opinion, are not great: it seems that smoking is allowed almost everywhere - by the pool, at the bar (outdoors), etc. That’s terrible. Also, cleanliness could be better: room cleaning is "okay", nothing exceptional, and it’s not uncommon to find plates with leftover food (left in the hallways by "less considerate" guests). This is not acceptable. The beach could also be cleaner, as cigarette butts are often found in the sand.
I make these criticisms to help improve the service, but overall, it was a very positive experience.
But inside the room still not feeling comfortable, there's no sound isolation 😕, so anything is going on in the corridor or hall you gonna hear. Especially annoying when the cleaning team are shouting just next to your door, while you are having a nap. The second problem is the staff who are filling the mini bar, they can come any time without knocking on the door. Even if you are naked, just came a few times without sorry 😐, nonsense for me and unprofessional, unrespectful behavior. The problem number tree is always leaking something in the toilet and shower, looks like a general problem for the whole hotel. Always wet the floor and drop sounds.
The rest is completely satisfied, the food is nice, the hotel interior is a bit old but well maintained and clean , the beach is near and sunbeds are available.
The territory is quite big and nice.
Sunbeds near swimming pool are always busy with towels, but there's no blame to hotel, it's just a mentality 😕 most of guests, who think that everything should belong to them if they got all inclusive)
The resort is visually stunning, and the staff are its biggest strength. Despite being understaffed and working extremely long hours, they remained friendly, professional, and hardworking—this includes receptionists, bartenders, waiters, and housekeeping. The food was fantastic, with delicious daily variations inspired by different cuisines. The beach is wide, sandy, and located conveniently close to the resort. The rooms are spacious, with minibars restocked daily, although the bathrooms need modernization to meet 5-star expectations. The SPA area offers saunas, a hammam, and an indoor pool. A special mention goes to the talented duo performing live music in the lobby—they were outstanding.
What I didn’t like:
The resort failed to meet expectations. I booked a room at the FULYA Hotel but was reassigned to the SELIN Hotel without prior notice. Despite assurances that all services and attractions were operational, most were closed upon arrival.
By November 6, nearly everything was shut down, even though the summer concept was supposed to run until November 20. Only one pool at the SELIN Hotel was open, the Aqua Park was closed, and during our stay, most beach loungers and umbrellas were removed, leaving just a few. One snack bar and one pool bar operated on reduced hours, creating long gaps between meals or refreshments. Entertainment was minimal, with only a couple of live music nights, karaoke, and bingo.
The SPA was also disappointing—what was advertised as a jacuzzi was just a cold pool extension with seating, no jets, and no warm water. On top of that, the beds were rock hard, making sleep nearly impossible. Many other guests shared the same complaint.
Conclusion:
The resort has potential when fully operational, but visiting in the off-season is a letdown. Attractions are closed without notice, and the limited staff are overworked. Unfortunately, issues are not limited to the off-season—during the peak season, guests have reported being moved to other hotels or crammed into one room instead of the three they paid for. It’s essential to read recent reviews carefully before making a reservation to avoid disappointment.
From the meals which for us were more than variety, especially the dinners where you'll have some thematic dinners.
To the beach side which were close enough and always easier to find a vacant place
To the all the outlook of the whole complex where you feel like in a small and cozy neighborhood
My small remark goes to the rooms, I think they could need a bit of renovation, just would make experience outstanding. However we're satisfied from what we have experienced.
Thumbs up guys!! 👍👍
What I liked:
- the big plus of the resort from my point of view is the entertainment part (both in terms of daily activities and evening activities)... congratulations to the staff who organized everything very nicely so that you don't get bored
- beach and sea: airy, well-kept, smooth entry into the water, fine sand, airy sunbeds, water like; yes
- the pools: very well maintained, the multitude of pools in the complex, the perfect temperature for bathing, and the fact that there were pools for children
- activity at the kids club: pleasant experience, diversity of activities in the complex
- Kamelya collection application: very practical (saved us from additional questions)
- the food: very good, available for all tastes,
- the staff at the pool bars and the main restaurants: very friendly and smiling, available to help you with anything you need.
- the cleaning staff: nice, if you told them what you needed, they were very helpful.
What I didn't like:
- The fact that during my stay Kamelya Fulya was overbooked, and I received Aishen Club rooms on the first night (although the reservation was made on Kamelya Fulya), where the air conditioning did not work as it should. With the help of the manager, the problem related to the room was solved the next day (getting a much bigger apartment), but even in this apartment the air conditioning did not work within normal parameters, even though it was set to 16 degrees.
Overall a pleasant experience, although I would have liked to have stayed a few nights at Fulya, but maybe next time
