Can Garden Resort Hotel in Side

Gorgeous hotel, food is lovely, good poaition with loads of bars down the road. Staff are really nice. We are English, didn't speak to one other English person in this hotel in the 10 days we were here, just German and Dutch people so would not come if you are English unless you are happy to sit in silence for 10 days 😂 also far too much smoking, no non smoking areas round the pool at all. This isn't a reflection of the hotel and staff as it was spotless, but unfortunately coming home feeling like i have been in a 90s time warp due to the guests. €2 down the rd fro. Side town centre which is gorgeous and well worth a visit. All in all lovely hotel, clean and food lovely.

This hotel is amazing. Staff go above & beyond for you. Rooms are spacious & very clean. The food is impeccable, something for all taste buds.

July 2025 average temperature was 38-42 degrees very hot! Bring Euros as all shops etc have prices in euros. No one at hotel or surrounding shop owners could convert pounds/liras to euros- we had to go to Mangavat market to exchange money. Staff at hotel are friendly and everyone spoke English but shows and activities were mainly in German. We were allocated a double room facing the kids pool. It was very noisy between 8pm -12pm from a hotel next door with pumping loud music. Also very loud music during 10am-5pm from pool entertainment. We requested to change but hotel was full. Rooms are spotless clean and  so are the pools. AC in room is great and Wi-Fi works all the time. Beds are comfy and clean. Mini fridge is stocked with water, juice and soft drinks. TV had only 3 channels in English. Rooms are cleaned every day and Fatima our cleaner was lovely and did a really good job. Buffet restaurant service is very good with waiters cleaning tables quickly.  Food is plentiful and a good variety but it does get busy. Best to come early. But there were flies on the bread, pastries, fruits and desserts. We really liked the dessert bar serving drinks, cakes and ice cream. Hot drinks machine available in lobby. But AC didnt work very well in lobby areas. Shuttle to beach is quick and efficient comes every few minutes.  Beach is gorgeous and kept clean. Plenty of sun loungers. Beach bar is amazing with everything from burgers, chips, freshly made pizzas to grilled and deep fried chicken. Lots of fruit n veg and ice cream. Drinks and tea/coffee also available. Sun loungers around pool are hard to find after 9am and feels crowded. We had to spend most of our time on the beach. A la cart fish restaurant was very good with so many courses. Let down is the really loud music which starts from 7.30pm  from the hotel next door which is so close. We did a waterfall trip - just get a dolmus (shared bus) for 2 euros pp one way to Mangavat. (Bus stop is left of the hotel front near indoor Market 5 minutes walk- or bus stop back of hotel near the shops up the steep path). Dolmus runs all day until 11pm. You can get a taxi aswell if you have 4+  ppl or its too hot and it's about £25 euros one way. There is a market as well in Mangavat. In the town near market you will see lots of people selling trips to waterfall or walk towards the river. Cost us 10 euros pp. Good day out. We used dolmus bus to visit Side old town after dinner 8pm as it was too hot during the day. Worth a visit - Dolmus will drop you in the car park of the Side old town where the ancient ruins are. There is a train that takes you up to the top and costs about 50 TL pp one way. You can see the ruins on the way up. At the top there is a very nice area full of shops, restaurants etc and the marina. Last dolmus bus leaves at 11pm. Make sure to pay first and let driver know your hotel name. Shuttle to airport is about 1hr (easyjet). We were last to be picked up. Lovely, clean hote

The service and all of the needed support for stuff which is available k me is offered and the best. But may not be suitable for non-Dutch/german speakers

It does what it says, rooms are decent, although bit small, the hotel is very clean and kept to a good standard, the food is also variable so at least you get a bit of a choice, walking distance to the beach but for lazy people it does have a hotel shuttle bus, you can get drinks and food on the beach, it has its own area

This hotel is amazing. The levels of detail and quality given to every aspect is brilliant. Stayed for two weeks end of July beg of Aug with 5yo. Lots of coffee machines around, a fantastic terrace bar and lovely pool and a quiet pool. Great service from 99% of the bar staff, restaurant staff are brilliant too. The food was varied, fresh and tasty, with something different each night, based on a theme. Jacket potato’s for lunch are also great! The entertainment team are led and managed well. The evening entertainment has been some of the best I’ve witnessed since doing AI, there was pretty much something different every night across the two weeks, the only events that were repeated were a singer/band in the terrace bar, but she was very good and a DJ night on the same place, but again very good and had everyone up dancing, the other types of evening events including your usual magician, dancing acts, bingo, and a family fun evening with inflatables and foam! The only gripes I would have would be that the room is small with a tiny balcony, and that the daytime events are repetitive with not much for the younger children if they did not want to go to mini club. The daytime events consisted of aqua aerobics, yoga, darts and water polo. A bit more variety and games for all guests to partake in would be better. It would also be beneficial to have some fans installed in the terrace bar as it does get hot and humid up there in the evening. It is a very German orientated/dominated hotel but the team do speak English, as best they can and try to include everyone in events, although some of the normal chat/jokes are done in German so goes over our heads Definitely would return as it was a nice place . No need to save sunbeds as there are plenty with a man going around taking some towels off if not used after a while

We stayed at the Can Garden resort for 11 days with our family of 10. The staff were extremely friendly and always happy to help. The hotel is spotlessly clean in all areas. Our maid was the most lovely lady and always had a smile and tried very hard to communicate with us. Our room was overlooking the pool with slides which was a little noisy but it didn't really disturb us. The bathroom was in need of an upgrade and had a bath with shower over it which was a little difficult being older. The pool area was lovely with a pool bar and we always found a sunlounger but had to get up early to reserve them. Bit annoying that some people reserved beds but then went to the beach and didn't come back until late in the afternoon. The beach is clean, with a beach boy that worked so hard keeping it spotless. There is a beach bar & a beach restaurant which served good food with lovely views. The beach may be a problem if you have mobility problems as there are quite a few steps down to it. There is a small curtesy bus which runs regularly from the hotel to the beach all day. The only down side to this hotel is the fact there are very few British. We were always greeted in German and signs were in German. Some people that joined in with entertainment team found it difficult as everyone was speaking German & they didn't know what was going on. All in all a lovely hotel which we would be happy to return to.
