Location is as perfect as it gets. Beach at one end and Side's architecture at the other all within a minutes walking distance. The rooms are basic but clean and definitely value for money. Hotel is built in a traditional style to blend in with the surroundings of ancient Side. Bear in mind there are lots of steps, if you have walking issues, and there are lots of cats too. Rooms are cabin style, really cosy and comfortable with patio or balcony. Not much privacy though as patios are open plan. Decor inside is lovelly, flat screen TV, hairdryer and a small fridge. I spent a week holiday at Side Su hotel as solo. It is a city hotel, simple, quite modern and nice. I got a room in the main building, there are few more buildings, each on a different level of the hill. I liked small swimming pools of each level. Good food, nice location, lovely waitresses. However as soon as it gets to 22:50/55 everything goes off (music, lights, bar) and you literally feel like you’re are being pushed to go back to your room. We stayed here 2 years ago. The biggest highlight of this place is its beach - unfortunately we need to go there by bus. This is quite a distance to the old town. Nearby is the happy bar with very loud music till 3-4 am!!! Service was mediocre. Rooms - it depends what you get. Food ok but nothing extraordinary. The pool area pretty small and crowded.

The Selenium is a lovely hotel, clean room, maids very attentive and friendly, staff in the bar and restaurant area are great. Stayed for 6 days at the hotel. I booked the half board option. My room was the standard room, with two single beds. Room was comfortable enough, with a balcony and chairs overlooking the pool. Weather was very good, daily temperature around 22°C. The hotel is about 6 minutes walk to the beach, but I think there is a shuttle service. In Side, there are lots of shops, restaurants and banks....

Average place, rooms are not very conformable, pretty small for 2 people. Hotel has 2 beaches, one is small but close, another one is very far, but spacious. Free shuttle takes to the beach in the morning 3 times and back only around 5 pm, which is not very convenient. You have to spend there the whole day which leads to sunburn. Rooms as you would expect in a 4-star hotel, if I'm honest, they could do with a refurbishment. Staff were brilliant, although only the receptionist spoke English they tried their best to help us. Location was bang in the middle of a very busy road, near to all the shops, pharmacy, 5 min walk to the beach. The food option was ok'ish. All in all, it's not bad. The miniclub was really good. The girl who worked there was so nice and kind to the kids. She did a lot of fun activities with our children and they loved playing with her. The staff on the hotel was very kind to kids! We were there with our 4 kids from the age of 6-13. The older kids played a lot of table tennis!

Such a lovely welcome at this little family run hotel. The owners cannot do enough for you. It is spotlessly clean throughout and the food options are plentiful and delicious. Don’t expect five star luxury but you will get five star service and attention.

I have to be honest after reading some of the reviews before we came I was a bit nervous….my advice don’t read too much into them…what a fantastic small family run hotel, brilliant pool area, spotlessly clean. Food was very varied and leant towards Turkish cuisine (as you are in Turkey)…if you want full English this is not the place to come. I am a very fussy eater and I thoroughly enjoyed the food...

the hotel is difficult to get to, the beach is also far away. the food is of a low standard. the hotel is definitely not worth the money asked. and positive moments, nice people at the reception and quite clean.

Located a 5 minute walk from the beach, this modern and clean hotel has everything we needed. Banquet style breakfast on the roof terrace is a real highlight with panoramic views of the bay. Similarly to all the reviews written before, I can only confirm that the hotel is exceptionally clean, staff is very friendly and food is delicious. The location is perfect - a short walk to any place you would need during your holidays. I have just one small remark - a family with small, tired & crying children (like mine), arriving at the hotel around midnight does not really need a welcome drink...

Upon arrival I was a little surprised that no-one guided us to our room as usually the bell boy does but we found it ok so no worries. A hotel that deserves its score. There are umbrellas and sun loungers on the beach. All the ladies and gentlemen working in the business do their jobs very well. I recommend it. I hope we come back one day.

Everything was amazing, i couldnt fault anyone. It should be a 5 star hotel, everyone went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. Staff quick to provide fresh towels, toilet paper etc. Location excellent, right on the beach and in antique Side. Nice people serving at the bar and restaurant with great food and plenty of it.

We went as a family and we liked it very much. The rooms were very clean, the staff was very attentive and caring. The food was excellent. It was just like our own home. We were very pleased. We will be there every year from now on. I recommend it to everyone.

5 stars due to price. Simple accommodation. Like bungalows in Asia, but includes A/C and minifridge. Cosy and quiet place. Nice staff and easy access to beach. Be sure to check out the hammock upstairs. Breakfast is simple, but ok. I can not recommended the rest of the food.

It is close to both the ancient side and the new. Spa personel was very friendly and massages were very good. WiFi is not free (very bad in this age) food is ok, sea and sand is great

Coming Altinkum hotel was on of the best choices of me, it is a great place for holiday as we in 2020 covid 19 era, they take care of the customer clean environment, it was great, near the beach ⛱, having delicious food with the sea view.

An adult hotel elegant but, as my son put it, 'grannyish'. Food tasty and varied. Of the huge downsides the location. In the middle of a string of hotels. Loud music every night until about 11pm. It is impossible to sit on the beach because it is so noisy. Water in the sea and pool too hot about 30 degrees. Lots of people on the beach and in the sea. Zero comfort. It is difficult to rest here.
