Overall a nice stay, and no such complaints.
Stayed at Kings Gate Canal Hotel from Monday to Wednesday, and unfortunately the experience was very poor.
The water from the faucets was extremely hot, making it uncomfortable and unsafe to use. The iron malfunctioned and ruined my shirt, spilling water and leaving burn marks. The fridge was not working during the stay.
When these issues were raised at checkout, the staff member showed no concern and said she would inform engineering, but did not take any notes or appear to follow up.
There was no assistance with parking, so I had to park the car myself. The parking entrance door to the hotel was locked, forcing me to walk from the parking area to the lobby to ask someone to open it.
Additionally, the spa staff member was rude, unhelpful, and dismissive when we asked about the facilities.
Overall, poor maintenance, lack of service, and unprofessional staff made this a very disappointing stay. I would not recommend this hotel
