Reviews
The daily service is perfect,
The entire staff makes a good impression.
We had friendly conversations with the executive lounge staff and they provided excellent service.
We stayed for a month and every day was pleasant.
I will be back to stay again.
I arrived early Friday morning, with my booking starting from Thursday. Despite this, the receptionist treated me as if he was doing me a personal favor by “allowing” an early check-in. This was neither a courtesy nor a privilege; it was my right, as I had already paid for the previous night. His condescending attitude was completely uncalled for and left a very poor first impression. I was too exhausted and jet-lagged to push back at that moment, but this level of service is unacceptable for any reputable hotel. The rest of the staff during my stay were polite and professional; clearly, the problem lies with the individual at the front desk.
Food
The food was decent in taste and selection. However, the breakfast menu was stagnant and repetitive. Eating the same options for nearly a week became monotonous and uninspired, hardly what you’d expect when paying for an extended stay.
Room Cleanliness
While the washroom and room were kept clean, the overall condition of the room is outdated. Furniture is worn, floors show their age, and the space is in need of serious renovation. Clean does not mean well-maintained, and this hotel seems to have forgotten the difference.
Location
Aside from proximity to Dubai Mall, the location has nothing to offer. The area is essentially a construction zone; dusty, noisy, and unpleasant to walk around. Don’t expect any nearby restaurants or attractions; you’ll be relying entirely on delivery apps and ride-hailing services.
Overall
This was an underwhelming stay. For the same price range, better-located five-star hotels like the Sheraton provide a far superior experience.
P.S. Upon checkout, I confronted the same receptionist and clarified my booking dates. Even then, he refused to acknowledge his mistake or offer a simple apology. That lack of basic courtesy sums up the check-in experience perfectly; unprofessional and dismissive.
