This hotel is definitely not suitable for families with children or light sleepers. Avoid room 4135 at all costs. The bar downstairs from the restaurant was incredibly loud and didn't quiet down until midnight. The first and second floors are open-plan offices, which is a bit odd, and the shower design is a complete miss – it feels like you're showering in a public space.

Booked the Palace View room, and the front desk thoughtfully arranged for our two rooms to be together, which my family absolutely loved. The room was spacious, and they even provided extra meals for the children and a free crib.

I lost  toiletries bag in this hotel in Nov 2024 then I checked with hotel concierge the bag was found. So I booked the same hotel in Nov 2025 and hope to collect the bag. The guests at this hotel are incredibly old money, just like in the movies! You wouldn't have this kind of vibe unless you owned a couple of ancestral estates. I chose the Ritz-Carlton to visit the Grand Mosque, and its location was perfect. The breakfast spread was excellent, and some of the buggy drivers were really enthusiastic and friendly. The only drawback was that the hot water wasn't hot enough; after filling the tub with just a little water, the temperature noticeably dropped.
