The room was clean, tidy, and well maintained. While it was smaller than rooms in many modern hotels, I enjoyed its cozy, slightly old-fashioned atmosphere and charming character. I stayed on the top floor in a front-facing room, which provided a lovely view and attractive windows. The wooden interior details and traditional design added to the hotel’s appeal. Some guests may find the decor dated, but I appreciated its unique style.

Amenities

The bathroom was very clean, the bathtub was excellent, and the hot water worked perfectly. The heating worked well throughout my stay, and the room also had air conditioning available. The concierge service was a nice touch. The only inconvenience was the small lift; since my room was on the fifth floor, I had to carry my luggage from the fourth floor to the fifth.

Value

I honestly don’t understand why this hotel has received so many two-star reviews. In my opinion, it’s a solid 6.8/10 and offers good value for the price. My main priorities when staying in another city are safety, comfort, quiet surroundings, and value for money, and this hotel met all of them.

Overall Impression

The hotel was incredibly quiet, which was probably my favorite part of the stay. Overall, I had a comfortable experience in a clean, well-maintained hotel that delivered good value. I’m genuinely surprised by some of the harsh reviews because my stay was quite positive.

It's in a central location, so close to the train station that the only negative I experienced was listening to the train noise all night.

The room isn't huge, but if you shift things around, you can definitely open a 26-inch suitcase flat. They clean the room every day except Sunday, which is great. My only minor complaint is that my room was on the 5th floor, but the elevator only goes to the 4th, so I had to carry my suitcase up the last flight of stairs myself.

Amazing experience. Staff were very attentive and lovely. nice breakfast.
Also there was a bit of dirt in my room but they quickly made the effort to clean it. Highly recommend !
