St Christopher's Inn, Shepherd's Bush - Hostel in London

Facilities are fine and location is pretty good, but generally had a pretty bad experience. Checked in quite late at night and so went to the bar to collect room key, staff seemed pretty distracted, after paying in full and checking-in online was told their was additional charges... tired from a long flight I paid them (£8 total, for key deposit- which was supposed to be exempt if you checked in online and also for breakfast which the staff member informed me started at 8:30) I was given a voucher for percentage off food so decided to drop bags in the tiny!! room and go and get something to eat, got down to the bar went through I.D check, only to be told that the kitchen was shut which we weren't told on check-in. The following morning went down to get breakfast at around 9:55 and was told (quite rudely) that breakfast closes at 9:30, another fact I was not informed of at check-in.

Generally a lot of hassle that could have been avoided by a more organised and informed check-in.

This place is too busy, too noisy, couldn't sleep., also in summer is so hot. No ventilation.
