⭐ Excellent Location & Outstanding Service
We had a fantastic stay at Mercure Paddington London. The location is perfect, especially for getting around London, with Paddington Station right nearby.
What really stood out was the excellent service from the staff. We were pleasantly surprised to have a complimentary minibar, and they even refilled it for us during our stay. We also enjoyed champagne from the complimentary bar, which was such a lovely touch and made our stay feel extra special.
They also kindly offered to store our luggage free of charge, which was incredibly convenient and made our travel much easier.
Overall, a wonderful experience with a great location, thoughtful service, and genuinely welcoming staff. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend Mercure Paddington London!

Chose this hotel as stayed here before and confidently close to Paddington Station. Gentleman at reception was very helpful ( arrived at 13.45 on 5/8/26). Got our room sorted and booked breakfast for us very efficiently. Our room was small,without being claustrophobic,but had everything we needed. Again staff were very helpful on checking out. Will definitely come back here again

Our experience at the hotel was disappointing from the moment we arrived with my wife. Although we had requested an early check-in in advance, we understood that it might not be available. However, we expected to be welcomed and treated professionally regardless of whether our room was ready.
Unfortunately, there was no warm welcome upon arrival. The front desk receptionist appeared nervous, making communication difficult. We asked to speak with the hotel manager, but we were informed that the manager was not available because he was overseeing another Mercure hotel at a different location in London.
To make matters worse, the elevator was out of service throughout our entire stay and was still not working when we checked out. This caused significant inconvenience, especially as we had to carry our three suitcases up and down three floors ourselves, both on arrival and at departure, without any assistance from the hotel staff.
Considering the room rate, we expected a much better level of service. There are many hotels in the same price range that offer larger rooms, better facilities, and significantly better customer service. Overall, the experience did not represent good value for money, and the lack of hospitality and support made our stay disappointing.

Brilliant location right next to Paddington station. Staff were friendly and approachable.
Room was tiny and bed was small for a double. The room on the 5th floor was very warm. The air-conditioning was preset to 19° which sounds low but we had no control over its operation and it didn't cool the room down from 24°. Opened window and where the building is right in Paddington centre, noise outside made sleeping difficult. Very poor night's sleep.

Booked one night before catching a very early flight from Heathrow. The location is perfect for Heathrow Express / Elizabeth Line, it takes about 3 minutes from hotel lobby to train platform.
The welcome at reception was very friendly, the staff are cheerful and helpful - no points lost here as the hotel was possibly quite full, but my Accor gold status did not afford me a room upgrade.
The rooms are clean but the standard room is laughably small, you will struggle to find space to open a suitcase. Bathroom is also compact but fit for purpose. Bed is on the small side but comfortable and clean. The standard rooms are overall quite tired and would benefit from a refresh, but overall serve their purpose.
Unfortunately the hotel sits directly on top of the Bakerloo line so you can hear (and feel) trains passing until they stop running for the day - even on the 5th floor where my room was. There are also no blackout curtains - my room was facing the station so there was a decent amount of light coming in even with the blinds down. Air conditioner was on the noisy side but highly effective.
It’s probably worth the extra for the executive rooms which seem significantly larger and renovated.
Overall, totally fit for purpose for a quick stay before a flight but longer stays might be challenging due to noise and room configuration shortcomings.

Excellent customer service and the same can be said for the rooms. Good food, and good size rooms (by London standards) - would stay again and recommend for anyone looking for to stay for a night or two somewhere comfortable but not too lavish.

Went here every morning for breakfast while staying in London. The staff was attentive and friendly. The food was very filling and helped me get through the first part of the day. Loved the servers!

Nice restaurant that caters well for young families. Great friendly atmosphere. The food was good and the bill was acceptable. Excellent location right next to Paddington Station. I'd take my family back there again so therefore I'd recommend this restaurant.

Average food at best, overpriced. Friendly staff which make up for it. We got sat down very quickly and the food arrived promptly, the wine selection was limited. Good for a quick bite before going out but I wouldn't choose this place for a date or having a nice meal with loved ones.

Good selection of the salad bar and all round variety in the menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Also nice place for afternoon tea. Prices are reasonable, portion sizes good be a bit bigger but otherwise good value for money still. Service is reasonably quick depending on time of day but even through busy periods I have found service to be good. Staff are polite, friendly and knowledgeable about their menu. Good place for family of 4 to dine together as there are booth style seating available. Overall good experience.

A typical English pub in a great area, located in the heart of Paddington, right in front of the Paddington train and underground station. Also facing the Paddington Hilton hotel.

A budget option in Central London, very close to Paddington Underground and GWR Station. Very convenient location to/ from Heathrow Airport. Among negatives; constant noise of water and hand dryers from washrooms, cold rooms and even colder attitude of the lady approving the complimentary breakfast in the restaurant area. Apparently she was the owner of the property. Rest of the staff was very cordial and cheerful.

my worst nightmare, my cell phone, my passport and my money were stolen, someone broke the lock and took my backpack with all my things, I asked to see the images of the camera in the door entrance, they say they can't show me the images, until the police come and they would come the next day, a week waiting and the police never came. They told me that in the images they have seen someone who was not registered in the room in and out, that made me more angry, as it is possible that someone who is not in the room come, who provided the keys? the staff? It was all very confusing and in my despair they just told me that they felt it and that they could not do anything

Best Italian in London!
If you want excellent honest Italian food this is the place the pizzas,and pastas are excellent and reasonably priced and all the staff make you feel welcome. Can't wait to go back.

Not a bad restaurant at all !! First of all the service from the waiters is one of the best given to me. I sat with another member invited to order opening garlic bread with mozzarella and mozzarella buffalo. Main courses We ordered gnocchi 4 cheeses, lasagna and pizza with chicken and onion. The first and main dishes were excellent .. the pizza was a little disappointing.

Highly recommended!!! Fantastic restaurant, every time we go the service is wonderful, the staff is friendly and polite. Delicious authentic Italian dishes. Would definitely recommend and will certainly be back soon!

We are hear on vacation and love our food. Eaten at 2 Michelin Star restaurants this week and this place has the same quality of food and much better service than both those restaurants! Not to mention a fraction of the price! Restaurant was packed and food was out on the table within minutes... Thank you Ivan for fantastic service. We look forward to our next visit! :)
