This is a budget- no frills hotel. Perfect for my overnight attending a match. The staff were friendly, the place was warm and importantly, the room was clean and bed comfortable. Public transport just out side and a big shopping centre across the road. Loads of bars, cafes and restaurants in the area. I will definitely be staying here again .

Never again
Unwelcoming staff all because the front door was open and we went in but it wasn’t meant to be open , snarled me like a piece of

Room well no heating bathroom stunk triple room couldn’t swing a cat in , tv tiny

To be expected above a pub tbh

Rooms were a bit tired but they were clean good value for the price also drinks in the bar were very well priced overall we enjoyed our visit

I don’t know what some people expect for the price they pay. Yes, rooms are small and dated, maybe the tv didn’t work (I didn’t try it), but it’s dirt cheap, it wasn’t filthy and I didn’t see any mice/rat traps. Yes there’s a party vibe in the garden, some kids smoking a little ****, but some might quite like that . If you have a problem there’s an insipid premier inn up the road for twice the price and not half as friendly ‍♂️

Basic room, not much to say. Cheap room and well positioned for Finsbury Park. But no frills.

Others complained about noise, but didn't hear anything to complain about.

I don’t usually leave reviews, but this place was so bad I feel obligated to warn others. First off, there was no continental breakfast, despite it being advertised. That was just the beginning.

The walls were only half painted, like someone gave up midway through a DIY job. Under the sink, the cupboard was literally rotting, and everything about the room screamed neglect. A light fixture on the wall was broken and hanging loose, which felt like a serious safety hazard.

The curtains were also broken, barely hanging on, and did nothing to block out the light or provide privacy. Even worse, there was masking tape still around the plug sockets—clearly unfinished and unprofessional.

The whole room was dirty and smelled of damp, making it incredibly unpleasant to stay in. I’ve stayed in budget accommodations before, but this was on another level of bad. Would absolutely avoid at all cost!

If you care about hygiene, comfort, or your sanity – AVOID this hotel at all costs. It’s not cheap enough to justify how dirty and poorly maintained it is. I wouldn’t stay here again even if they paid me. The bedding looked used and there were actual hairs in the sheets – not ours! The shower was grimy and the toilet hadn’t been flushed, let alone cleaned.

The worst stay I’ve ever had. Don’t believe the photos or the discription. READ THE REVIEWS!!!!! It’s a disgusting place to stay, in need of repair, smalls really bad, rooms ate disgusting and even come with a boiler!!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!! No reception, staff are non existent, no breakfast, no food on offer at all, noise is horrendous, really unsafe as anyone has access to the fire escape which is the only access to the rooms. I can not stress enough how bad this place is. It should be shut down.

We first arrived at the hotel. To discover the hotel looked very out dated. We was informed when arrived at the property. There was no breakfast. And the lift was not working. Up a few flights of badly lit stairs to our first room. This had no towels and the bathroom was dirty. We then discovered the bed bed looked broken. We asked for a different room. There was 3 of us. We was changes to a differnt room. This was very small for 3 people. The bathroom again was dirty. And like a postage stamp. There was a bowl in corner of room to catch the drips from the big hole in the ceiling. The wall paper was hanging off the walls. The beds was very small and uncomfortable. The fridge made a loud noise. Very shocking. We headed to the bar for drinks. The fizzy drinks were flat. We went to a concert for the evening and on return all we could smell was ****. I know this was a cheap hotel for the evening but this was shocking. Personally think the flat need closing down. Oh I almost forgot the mouse traps on the stairs. And the exposes wires in the bar and a dodgy looking lamp shade. Very disappointed and won't be returning. Please avoid place like the plaque

Pub is meant to open at 11 but we waited till at least 1pm before there was even any sign of life. Toilet was blocked and every time you flushed poo came out of the shower plug. Good location tho and can’t complain with the the price point tbf.

The food served here is good quality and will be well made every time. The staff are nice and quick. The price may not be low but as it is a chain, it doesn't matter. Better than some other subways than one I've been to.

Closed and hour early. Waste of journey.

The McDonalds over the road will let you have an extra sausage in the breakfast bagel for an additional 40p.

I found a member of staff from this branch of Subway sitting on my car having a cigarette. Unacceptable!

They serve grilled food. Solid taste and has authentic vibes.. and great value for money. The waiters are attentive and genuine.

If it wasn't so far away it would be a place I visit whenever I feel like good quality grilled food.

Diyarbakir now has a new branch further up Green Lanes, towards Turnpike Lane. We have tried both old and new, and still prefer the old because you still pretty much get the same menu but it is slightly cheaper. Food is great! The grilled meat is full of flavour and tender. The stews have a good balance of meat and veg. Their salads are always fresh. Go with friends to try their meat platter, it is a big portion - great value for money.

If you don't know about this place, where have you been? I've loved this place (and the sister restaurant) for many many years. I've never had a bad experience. Some of the best middle eastern food in the country and the staff are always great. So much other stuff comes complimentary too! Home away from home ??

Such a great Turkish restaurant! The house provides lots of free food! Amazing! The soup taste great with the bread. Vegetables come very fresh and great taste. The seafood dish was great seasoning with vegetables and Turkish spices. Very authentic and delicious, and will definitely come back with friends or family. The best Turkish restaurant I know in London so far.

I was there for dinner with friend yday. The food was okay, but they had very poor wine-by-glass selection. The biggest issue for us was the waitress who was starring at us at all time. As soon i finished my meal ( even tho my friend was still eating ) my plate disappeared. And she kept walking around us what made us feel like we should just finish it quickly and leave. So we actually did. Did not feel comfortable at all time.
Seeing cook grabbing our pasta by hand when putting on plate wasnt a tasty view.
Maybe we were just unlucky but I'll not go there again.

This place is great. It's a friendly, good value Italian restaurant. We've got a little boy, and the staff are great with him and very accommodating. Food is good too. My favourite pizza in London is their American Hot - which has garlic on it - which is a nice twist on a classic.

Amazing food, and you can tell it's made fresh. Would recommend 10/10

Very nice little restaurant, can be very quiet during the day, which makes it very quick to get service!!

On Sundays 12-5pm they have a pizza or pasta plus soft drink for £6.95. Which is an amazing deal! Worth a visit if you like Italian and are on a budget.

I was im able to give less than 1!!! Terrible dining experience. customer service is really bad. Staff are extremely rude - shame, food can be nice - but dining experience is about quality of food and quality of service, and the service is terrible. Was really embaressed in front of my guests! Horrible.
