The hotel, contrary to Booking’s reservation policy, was only supposed to charge one night as a deposit. However, they charged the full stay in advance, violating that policy, and have been slow and uncooperative in refunding the amount.

The hotel is located in a calm and convenient area of Miami, just a short walk from the beach. There’s a CVS pharmacy nearby where you can easily pick up drinks, snacks, or any extra amenities you might need.
Basic amenities are provided, but the bottles are quite small, so you may want to bring your own. There are no pajamas available, so it’s best to prepare those in advance.
If you walk straight ahead, you’ll reach Ocean Drive Ave., where there are plenty of great places to eat and drink.
The staff were friendly, and the room was clean with a nice scent. Overall, it was a really pleasant and comfortable stay!

This hotel is a bare bones operation. My room was large, well lit and clean. They are not full service and checkin is late. It also has a good location. The common areas need a refresher and some of the bathroom furniture too (see photos). I found it clean and efficient. No keys. All codes and your Sonder App. Bare bones staff and no amenities. You need to resupply your room and there is no restaurant. Only Keurig Coffee and basic tea. No local or cable television channels. The Samsung Smart TV can be hooked up to your phone or Chrocmecast. Price is very competitive and I guess you get what you pay for.

Absolutely gorgeous hotel don’t believe the reviews. I was really worried about staying here reading the reviews but it was absolutely wonderful. The room was pristine. The service was exceptional. My room had a huge balcony with furniture on. There was an empty fridge and a kettle. There wasn’t made service unless it was ordered, but for three days that didn’t cause me any issues. The only problem for me was that this is three old Art Deco hotels that have been amalgamated and as such only have one small swimming pool which is mainly in the shade. The vibe was very much chaotic with lots of children died bombing in there and there wasn’t many places to sunbath and this is the only reason I’ve given it four stars. The location is perfect and central opposite a drugstore a bakery and Edina and it’s very safe opposite the Miami police department and it’s quiet. There is an on-site little restaurant café and bar that are all great and you can help yourself to any extras that you need such as extra toiletries loo rolls that kind of thing.

Sonder do marketing and promoting their very sleek, refined image very well however they do little to live up to this. We arrived at The Abbey hotel to the beautifully decorated, light and airy reception area which on closer inspection is a little tired. The communal areas need a little TLC, the carpets of the stairs and corridors are quite frankly filthy and in desperate need of a proper clean. We hoped this was where our disappointment ended but it only worsened when we got to our room. The room was dirty, the floors were filthy, our socks where black, there was dirt, hair and dust on shelves and in drawers. The shower head was filthy and the shower floor has wet bits of dust and hair. We also found a sticky roller thing that housekeeping but use to clean that was filthy and left in our room. We asked for the room to be cleaned and it was better but the floor was still dirty and the shower was still full of other peoples hair. From the image they portray to what you receive is very different. The hotel needs some TLC, a bit of a make over and a damn good clean.

Incredible experience. Hotel is great. Hotel in a very key location, close to the sea, and main places. Small, but modern. Got all my expectations, or went beyond.... Wonderful attention from Rosario, btw. But also from the staff in general.

Room was very lovely. The staff was so great. Only reason I gave it 4 stars is because it's poorly insulated, you literally hear EVERYTHING. for one night it's not bad. The shower was huge and beautiful, very comfortable bed and there was a sound machine in there.

An Art Deco hotel, opposite Collins Park and a couple of hundred metres away from Miami Beach. Our room was spacious with a double aspect continuing with the art deco theme. A walk-in shower with super lighting was rather nice. There must be 50+ restaurants within a five minute walk of the hotel that made it easy to find somewhere to eat and relax. The location and super room sizes, with a smart finish makes this an ideal choice for any traveller.

Very cute hotel in a great location with friendly staff. The only reason for 3 star is because building has very poor insulation. We were repeatedly woken up by middle of the night chatter from the room next door or even by walking noises from the room above.

Buffet was horrible. Old food, not fresh, warmed up for like hours. The drinks were horrible and the sweets were left in room temperature for hours. But the staff was pretty great.

As a frequent diner of fine restaurants around the world, I can tell you that this restaurant is not what you think fine dining is. These guys are clueless on real customer service. Unnecessary additude. Laughable. Sloppy. Impolite. “Fake Politeness”

Not sure how the reviews are so bad.. have been to most of the best restaurants in Miami and the service here was the best by a mile. Food was good and the staff were all amazing. One of the only restaurants that don't automatically take 20%+ service charge off the bill as well but definitely deserve a good tip.

I am thoroughly disgusted with my NYE experience at this hotel's pool "wet". Only one small poolside bathroom was allowed to be used for over 2000 people. I imagine people staying in the hotel we're going up to there rooms. It didn't even feel like a concert as no one was dancing the entire night. You couldn't expect people to dance because they care more about making money then people enjoying there experience. No joke, there was no dedicated area or dance floor and my girlfriend and I were told to dance between the reserved bottle service tables. At one point I addressed a bouncer because somebody grabbed her multiple times only to be yelled at and escorted out by approximately 7 bouncers out of the club that I agreed to leave on my own after this terrible experience. As I was leaving, a bouncer informed me that he could beat me up and I was shoved by them from behind.
I don't know what this place is like a normal basis, but if you are planning to go for NYE, I STRONGLY suggest anywhere else on earth.
