Absolutely terrible hotel. Will never come back here again. Do not stay here!! Go somewhere else. The front desk people are super rude and unfriendly. Seriously, what is their problem? If you're reading this which I doubt you are: take basic etiquette and customer service 101 training courses because I don't know how you got hired for the job. I asked the lady for the wifi because the server kicks me off and has me log back in every time I leave the hotel which I've never had to deal with before at any other hotel. When I asked her for the hotel info she literally laughed in my face. Unpleasant and rude conversation. Only one elevator works. The only pool in the area looks disgusting, the water looks very murky and unclean. I didn't know what disease I would catch from swimming in there so I didn't swim in it. I'm probably going to get a big I'm sorry for the inconvenience message from the hotel after this review and they are going to do absolutely nothing to fix it. I don't know how this hotel even operates, it's a joke. Also, the front desk never answers the phone. The dinosaurs will come alive before you will get a response from them. One night a weird droning noise was coming from the room above us and would not stop for like twenty minutes, disrupting our sleep.

Terribly rude staff at the beach. We were four people staying at the hotel, but we could only use one beach umbrella. They aggressively demanded $40 per day for a second umbrella, even though 90% of the umbrellas were unoccupied! The carpet in the room was never cleaned. White socks turned black within minutes. There were also many minor unpleasant incidents that spoiled our vacation. We do not recommend visiting this hotel!

Worst experience I’ve ever had at a hotel. We arrived at the hotel early 10 am our room wasn’t ready because we were early. That we expected so we checked our bags and they told us they would give us a call when our room is ready. Come 3:30 we are tired of waiting because we see people checking in and all getting their rooms. Eventually we go up to the desk and our room was ready it had actually been ready and they never called. We paid for an ocean front king suite. We get to our room and we are in the lowest level directly above the pool so everyone can stare at you and see in your room. We are upset because this is not what we expected or what was advertised when we booked. So we called down and told them nicely this isn’t what we were expecting. She said you are in partial view room and basically there’s nothing they can do about it. Not sure why we got a partial view room when that’s not what we paid for at all. They basically said there’s nothing they can do to accommodate us or move us which I don’t understand how that’s possible because people check in and out of hotels everyday. Would never ever stay again and would never stay at a best western in general again over this ordeal. Despite not getting the beautiful view we paid for it’s really the invasion of privacy that this room offers that makes it so bad. So considering we had to have our blinds closed the entire time of our vacation what was the point of paying for the ocean view. There was never apology or accommodation and on top of that reading other people’s reviews it sounds like this is a huge problem at this resort. So basically this hotel is a scam and they just take your money and you’ll never receive your ocean front room that YOU the consumer has paid for.

I had the worst experience ever at this hotel in Miami. The person managing the luggage, wearing a blue polo shirt, seemed to dislike his job immensely, with a very cold attitude. I waited on the beach for about four hours before finally checking in. The room card I was given didn't work; I tried three times to open my door without success, resulting in me lugging my luggage up and down the stairs three times. The guy with curly hair and glasses gave me another key, mentioning that it might be due to the lock being out of battery. When I asked for a room change, despite seeing several similar rooms just cleaned, he claimed there were no vacancies. Things only got worse from there. The air conditioning leaked continuously when turned on, creating a loud noise. The toilet flush button required manual adjustment every time, or it would make a loud flushing noise. The shower curtain was tattered, causing water to flood the bathroom floor during showers. The TV emitted a piercing electrical noise. I took videos and photos, hoping the hotel would consider self-check-in machines to replace manual check-in, thus saving on labor costs. I will never return to this hotel again.

You can NEVER get in contact with someone from this hotel. We were set to go on a cruise, we booked through corporate. We were to have 2 queen beds and a roll-away bed. When we arrived we had 2 double beds and they refused the roll-away and were told it's not possible. Our room door never latched closed. We had 2 different times when employees would just open our door. I do not recommend this hotel for any stay. I will say the staff on the beach were VERY helpful and friendly. Will never stay here again.
