Terrible attendance. They make undue debits on the credit card. They lose orders. I would not recommend this hotel under any circumstances.
Omg! If I could give more stars I would! I traveled alone with 2 small kids. They gave me a handicap room due to all the luggage I had.
We had Starbucks coffee in the morning in the room. Nice and clean facilities. Managers were so very kind and welcoming.
Child friendly too! There were outdoor places to eat breakfast (included) and places to play outdoor such as outdoor games, pool, beach area and more.

Fantastic hotel. Staff were brilliant. Pam was very helpful especially when we had to leave our luggage. Rooms were nice. Location is excellent. Also offer sun loungers on beach with beach towels. Bar staff very friendly free cocktail on arrival. Would highly recommend a visit.
Great experience! Staff were helpful and friendly. The room was nice and clean. Location is perfect, we were within walking distance to the beach, shopping and nightlife. Parked the car in public parking overnight pretty much across the street and was half of what you pay for valet parking at the hotel. I would stay here again.
Room pictures were pretty accurate. Cleaning staff was very sweet, but the hotel service was very displeasing. Upon arriving, we had no towels, rags in our room and we only had a short time to shower and head out. We called the front desk to request some towels and they hadn’t come. After 30 minutes we went to the front desk and asked and we were told that they will “see what they can do” but an hour later... still no one had come. This set our night back. Luckily, the bed was extremely comfortable. The next morning we wake up and we hear a hotel staff member banging the room card against the door to ask us about check out at 10am, waking my boyfriend up when checkout wasn’t until 11pm. Location was convenient, valet was overpriced at $45 for the night. Would not stay again.
Great hotel. Great staff. The room was nice and clean. Very spacious with a balcony l )(junior suite )
The welcome and goodbye cocktail is a nice touch. This location is very close to the beach, ocean drive and major attractions for that area.
No issue or complaints. Walking distance was great for most all top food locations.

It was a great pleasure to stay in this hotel. The ocean is very near. Thanks to Awa !
Really enjoyed my stay! Room is very comfortable, well appointed. Staff was courteous. Elizabeth did a terrific job taking care of me as a walk in. I will be back!
The location is very convenient to walk to restaurants. The valet service ($42 a night) is not intuitive and neither is getting to your rooms (there are multiple small buildings). I asked the desk clerk to write down his directions (this number means the building, this is the floor, etc.) but he gave me a blank expression and handed me a map. The rooms are small and you can hear the people above you!!!! Was supposed to stay another night but chose Element by the Westin instead. For the under 30 crowd only.
Location was the best part. Room was very small, water in the shower dripped out with zero water pressure. The front desk employees never bothered to make eye contact. They simple read off their rules without caring to ask us if we had any questions, or even to find out how our stay was when we checked it. Check in not until 4, check it by 11. Valley parking for $45

Came here for lunch and it was rip off. Tourist trap! The guy took our card and added a tip. He assumed we enjoyed everything when their bathrooms were not functional and our food was not good. No sinks. No toilets that work. I'd rather eat gator again even though it tasted swampy. I'm going to eat at the HIV bus that tours Miami next time where at least i know I'll be disappointed ahead of time. Please shut down this prison mess hall. Give the people a good place to eat instead of trying to get everyone drunk and enjoy trash foods. Quality pays except here it costs

Food is not that good. I wanted to talk to the manager he never showed up I don't recommend this place

The show was amazing. I waited over an hour for my tenders. I noticed that everyone was getting their food before me. I asked my server twice, and he finally came out and stated that there was a mix up in the kitchen. He offered to have my food out to me really quick, but I would STILL have to pay for the food. After waiting over an hour, and asking twice. No thank you! I actually get to choose where I spend my money. It's one thing to forget about your table, but another to totally not compensate for your mess up. Won't be going back to order food. I will enjoy the shows though!

Dinner was fabulous and our servers were fantastic! Very knowledgeable of the menu and provided excellent service. There was some miscommunication regarding the pasta my friend ordered, and they took it back immediately and created a fresh order of the correct one. The pasta was fresh and tasted delicious! Highly recommend!

Delicious tortellini and bruschetta. Beautiful and quiet ambiance. Great service! Would definitely recommend!

We had planned on going to a different Italian restaurant but it didn't look that nice and found this one down the street. The service was very good and the we enjoyed the food a lot. I wouldn't say it's the best Italian I've had but compared to other restaurants in the area thought it was very good and prices were reasonable. I would happily go back.

Wow, so nice to see they are still here! I love their food, and the atmosphere is wonderful. Good stuff.

It’s an okay restaurant. Food is good and tasty, although oily. The salad is good too.
Everything is overpriced and the waiters are nice; however, they don’t do their job in a good pace. They’re slow and make you wait a while before they come at your table.

The foods are ok, but nothing really to write home about. The snapper was quite dry without sauce (requested), surprisingly woody not very fresh. The whole fried fish is better flavoured but quite hard going to eat. Yes 18% service is added automatically. The interior is interesting though. All in all not particularly satisfying experience - won't be back any time soon....

Had dinner there last night. Prices for everything are up there . 18% was added to our check, party of 3????? It's usually done to 6 or more or separate checks. The bill was presented with a fold over the amount . The fold on top had a blank space for additional tip and suggested amount percentages. We almost left 36%, and our friends almost did too. It's dim lit and if you don't really get out a flashlight and examine your bill, you'll be taken to the cleaners. How deceptive and crooked way to treat visitors. No ?

Cozy place to eat and have a few drinks. The food here is great! The empanadas are pretty small and there's some Venezuelan food here and there on the menu. Overall, nice experience :)
26.11.2017
The food came out at a lightning piece which indicates to me it had been pre-prepared in the extreme, but what I had was really tasty. The Plantains are a bit pricey at eight dollars, but the shrimp and the octopus starters were great. Had a main of the fish from Cartegena which I can't remember the name of. That was really good. Very friendly and efficient service.
Mango's Tropical Cafe (5 min)
900 Ocean Dr, Miami Beach, FL 33139
Reviews12.12.2017
You don't need a reservation to get a table viewable to the stage, unless you plan on arriving late. Cost for 3 drinks & 2 meals was $166! The drink prices on the online menu are only for the small drinks. Other than that the place was pretty cool, there was a dancing area that started after dinner. Stage performers were quality. Salmon salad and burger were tasty.

Okay yes I agree Mango's is really touristy but it is fun, accessible, not pretentious and just plain entertaining.
They get a lot accomplished on the tiny dance stage that keeps your focus. Great looking boys and girls performing make sure the appeal is there for all interests. Most of the dancers also work the bars and tables.
Live music and some higher quality singing and dancing acts boost the performances every now and then.
This is a large bar/club combo, the kitchen is adequate to push out some food to accompany your drinks - but that's about it. Just don't have high expectations for the food - pretty much the things you find at a Duffy's or Hooters.
Getting a table for dinner for the two of us early around 8 pm, I asked to get a bottle of Chardonnay - and they wanted to deal with it as bottle service in one of the South Beach clubs. Something over $140 for a screw top bottle of the house swill.
Mango's has a kitchen but they are not a restaurant - it is a "club".
We stop in every now and then, and it is entertaining to sit at the bar and watch the show for a bit.

All along we were told we needed to visit Mango's when in Miami. I'm glad we did. The atmosphere is exciting. The service was great. Expect to put down some dollars for food and drinks but it is worth it for the atmosphere.

This business thinks that they are slick. They automatically charge you a "hospital donation" fee. You are not asked if you WANT to donate on your tab. It's not much but it shows the shadiness of their operation. Like that wasn't enough... I asked for some water and the bartender tried to charge me $9.00 for a bottle of water. Literally all I asked for was a cup of water with ice. After I've already spent more than enough money, the bartender says "water and ice is for customers only". I'm sorry what am I again if I'm already inside of your establishment, making purchases, a CUSTOMER. If only people knew... tourist beware. Would NOT recommend unless you are ready to be ripped off.
