Avanti International Resort in Orlando

When I arrived, the room was not clean, Also, there is only one glass in inside the shower leaving the floor wet. I was pissed!! In order to take a nice shower I had to basically lean against the wall. Guys I will never return. My son enjoyed the pool. I will pay extra to stay at a better hotel on our next trip.

Honestly, if it weren’t for the fact that every hotel in the area was full due to multiple conventions in town I would’ve left as soon as I got here. This is basically a Motel 6 rebranded.

I was “lucky” enough to get a room facing the highway. That’s all I hear morning and night. I asked to switch rooms, they told me “call back later, we will see.”

I haven’t had toilet paper since I arrived. I’ve called twice to have it brought up. Both times the response is “you can come to the front desk”… the front desk is an honest quarter mile walk from my room. I asked for coffee pods for the in room coffee. Same response “come to the front or wait 3 HOURS until housekeeping comes in”

930 am is when housekeeping arrives. If you need anything in room before then. Plan to get up, get dressed, and walk.

The rooms are ugly, old, and begging for decor. Would a dollar-store painting and fake potted plant kill the budget? It’s so dreary here. Don’t come. Unless you don’t plan on being here at all.

Room was clean and front desk staff was very helpful. Probably won't stay here again tho.
They do charge a daily resort fee here which I don't agree with since the amenities aren't that great. Check before you book here there are several other hotels very close that don't charge a daily resort fee such as Rosen Hotels and Day's Inn that are comparable in price and just as nice.
Update: I just checked out on 6/22/25 after staying 3 days never once saw anyone from housekeeping to empty the trash or provide clean towels.

I wanted to share my experience at Avanti International Resort. When I arrived on June 6 at around 10:40 PM, I was greeted by a pleasant aroma in the lobby, which was clean and well-organized. This made a great first impression. However, I did notice that there was only one front desk assistant available, resulting in a bit of a line for check-in.

After checking in, we drove to Building 3 to find our room. While parking, I noticed a cleaning cart belonging to housekeeping, and the staff were taking a smoke break outside. This was not a positive impression; while I understand that people smoke, there is certainly a time and place for it—definitely not in front of guests arriving at the resort.

Once we entered the room, I encountered several issues. The door did not lock properly; it appeared to have been broken into before. The bathroom curtain was stained, the bathtub had mildew, and the shower faucets were detached from the wall. There was a strong smell of marijuana, with people smoking in corners near the elevator. Police were also parked around the building to manage some activities.

While watching television, I couldn't help but notice a series of “GUEST SAFETY TIPS” commercials that strongly urge guests to remain vigilant. They recommend reporting any suspicious activity, ensuring that doors are securely locked, and being cautious about ordering pizza from flyers slipped under doors. If someone knocks on your door claiming to be a worker, you're encouraged to contact the front desk to verify who is being sent to your room and for what purpose. It’s concerning to realize that such precautions seem to be a standard part of the resort experience.In conclusion, this resort is anything but family-friendly. I would never recommend it to anyone looking for a safe and welcoming environment. The images showcased online painted a picture of a clean, inviting resort with a scenic view, but the reality I experienced was far from that. I will not be returning.
