The location is excellent, everything is close by, and there are plenty of places to relax on the property. However, the top bunk beds are incredibly uncomfortable and a pain to get into; you have to climb over a barrier – I’ve never encountered anything like it before, and I ended up with bruises on my legs because of it. But if you get a bottom bunk, it's fine, you can tolerate it for a couple of nights.

I stayed alone in a female-only dorm with a kitchen at the hostel.
About the hostel:
1. It's a 3-minute walk to the beach.
2. The W-Line bus ($2.50) goes from the airport directly to the hostel stop (it's a 3-minute walk from there). There are ticket machines for bus passes at the airport.
3. There's a communal kitchen (open from 6:00 AM - 10 PM).
4. You can get beach equipment (like surfboards) for a deposit.
5. There are plenty of food stores and cafes nearby.
6. They offer excursions.
7. There's a locker in the room, but you'll need your own lock.
There's a lot of traffic on the island's roads.

I dont like because I booked and within 5 min cancelled , but refund !!! I informed by mistake , they may minimum charge and refund right ? Worest

No hairdryer, no kettle or pot for hot water – it was incredibly basic. Four people squeezed into a tiny room with no TV. There was a washing machine but no detergent. Definitely room for improvement, especially the air conditioning which was freezing cold and so loud it made it hard to sleep. Service, however, was decent.

It was really great to chat with friends from all over the world and go on adventures to volcanoes and waterfalls together. The room was also pretty good; I slept wonderfully every night. I'd definitely consider staying here again next time I'm in Honolulu!

The place is clean, beds are decent and rooms are clean. The staff are lovely and helpful. You can borrow stuff for the beach for free, free pancake Breakie and coffee, and towels to use. They organized activities and have tours you can book. Overall, little older building, but they keep it clean and can’t complain.

Excellent in terms of locations and activities and community bonding between guest. Downside no elevator. So I was staying at 4th level. But staff were helpful in bringing up and down my luggages.

Service was great, the staff was very informative. Rooms are clean. There are a variety of activities (workout area, pool game/pocket billards, etc.) available within the common area. Food is offered as well.

It was a really good but barebones hostel, creaky bunk beds and not many provisions but.. free pancakes in the morning and free surf/body board rentals!!

Yes, this place is good as they say it is! I'll definitely be back for another juicy burger. There's so much flavorful packed in the meat and the condiments served on top make this place unique. There's so many types of burgers to choose from, what's awesome is the menu has pictures of what all the burgers look like (good for people who need a visual). I waited roughly 20 minutes for my burger, it was well worth the wait!

Awesome all around! Fresh made burgers. Great fries. Real ice cream shakes. No matter the toppings you can taste the beef! Guys behind the counter were great with the heavy service level. Smiles on their faces even through the language barrier with some guests. A little pricey, but what do you expect 50 m from Waikiki Beach.

famous big place for burgers... they are pretty busy. but as restaurant manager i saw many spots where they can be more efficient and quicker by just change the way how they work.... food great 5* speed 4* efficiency 2*

Breakfast was pricey. Food choices are nothing spectacular or out of the ordinary. The service was good and waitress was very pleasant and efficient. A bit of a wait for omelets but the chef was great and eggs were cooked exactly as I requested. The 2 go coffee is a nice gesture but still an expensive place to have breakfast so I rated it a 4.

Not worth the 50 per person. Very limited options, the big sellers are crab and steak and it was not even close to a 3 star, staff was great. Overall over priced for the selection I could have had a better meal at the steak house next door.

For the price i think food is great. Buffet with a lot of options. The fruit and desserts are great for both dinner and breakfast. Dinner has a cheese bar with 5 different good cheeses. Breakfast has a great omelette/egg station. The service is awesome and all the staff are extremely friendly. Breakfast gives you a to-go cup for coffee which is pretty cool i think.

We were searching for a steakhouse on Yelp and didn't want to eat at Ruth's Chris again as we had eaten there on Maui a few days before. (Who wants a steak that just comes out with a glob of butter on it and still cooking on your plate?)
We saw the 4 1/2 star rating for D.K, made reservations on open table and we rolled the dice. "7" WINNER!! The French onion soup is some of the best I've ever had. I had the NY and king crab, wife had the filet and king crab. The steaks were cooked to perfection. The waitress gave us undivided attention.
This beats Ruth's Chris hands down.
We will be back!!

Great service and food. Nice atmosphere! We usually do the bar at happy hour but decided to do dinner tonight. It was a good choice.

The restaurant was about 30 minutes late in seating us, but made up for it with an apology and extremely attentive service. The panko ahi app and otoro sashimi were excellent. Highly recommend.

The staff were attentive, courteous and provided quick service. The food was just okay; we got the dynamite shrimp which has more flavour than the typical chain restaurant version of this dish. The shrimp were big (which you seem to find everywhere here in Oahu). The rolls we had were fairly average quality, we avoided ones with crab because of the reviews. An average experience overall.

Came for karaoke and sat at the bar. The bartender has acted like me being here (along with the other 6 people at the bar) have been a total inconvience. She has been rude, short and even just flat out ignored people. Sadly she is the better of the 2 bartenders on duty as the other young lady has not even acknowledged there are people at the bar

What a great place to eat dinner. The food here was fantastic! The ambiance was peaceful with some hip music. If your lucky you will catch a live music show. Some people danced while others people watched. Definitely a place for a romantic dinner. Service was top notch too. Highly recommend.

Okay so this place is amazing! We stopped by with 8 people full tourist status and they really accommodated us. The server was super busy so the manager came to the table and took care of us. The manager was the best, like no joke the best. He gave us stuff to try and was so attentive and chill. I litterally told him "just give me something good" and he no joke brought out some amazing hawaiin food. The service was excellent and the food was amazing.

Excellent waitress! Salt and Pepper shrimp- not so excellent. It’s advertised as having tail and head, but not advertised as still having poop ! Every other time we’ve ordered shell on shrimp, they had been cleaned, with the slit down the back making it easier to peel. The fish sticks were excellent! One of two coffees was served with a bonus serving of gunk off the bottom of the pot. If it were not for the great waitress, it would have been a one star. It was an expensive, disappointing first meal in Honolulu.

Really liked this place. We did find the server person at the who seats everyone to be dismissive of those who had not had reservations. Some people were genuinely upset by her.
Otherwise the food is good, access is easy and the drinks are fun. View is spectacular and particularly at sunset you get one of the best framed views with the palm trees. Worth dropping in, with a reservation prior as to not be dismissed at the door.

We used Tiki's Grill and Bar for our wedding reception for our destination wedding. We had a fairly small group and so we held our reception in the main part of the restaurant and ordered off the main menu. The restaurant was very responsive when we were arranging the reservation. For a small fee you can add white table clothes on the tables, which was a nice touch. You can also add cake service - which includes a small table for your cake and desert plates/forks - a huge plus! Our servers were very attentive throughout our time. The food was absolutely delicious! I am gluten/dairy free so I ordered the Ratatouille Tower and added grilled chicken to it. It was my favorite meal during my entire time there, so good! The souvenir glasses they offer are fun as well, and they will rinse it and box it up for you to go at the end, which was very nice! Overall a great experience!
