We had the best time at the Laylow Autograph Hotel, first time staying at this hotel, we come ever year & decided to try the Laylow, I highly recommend this hotel, great vibe with the hideout bar downstairs, we had a corner suite which was huge for our family , with 2 teenagers, great location, the hideout bar downstairs was my favourite, food & service & atmosphere fantastic, the only I would say the pool was lovely but would be amazing if there was a hot tub 🙏🏽 otherwise one of my favourite stays.
Thank you Laylow team 🙏🏽🙏🏽

The room was spacious and very comfortable. The view isn't great, being surrounded by buildings, but I could see the Royal Hawaiian from my balcony.
The pool was always open. It seems like construction is currently underway, as you can see in the photo, which somewhat diminishes its appeal. However, the rooms were very stylish, and the diner attached to the hotel was delicious and stylish, so I was very satisfied.
Another attraction is the various services offered daily, such as free lei making and shave ice.
While some people may think that Kuhio Avenue is slightly inferior to Kalakaua Avenue, this hotel has an excellent location, right across from Marugame Seimen and next to the International Marketplace.
The staff were all very friendly. There are also Japanese staff members, so even those who are not confident in their English can rest assured!

The hotel had a very nice design.
The front desk staff were very friendly and the rooms were nice.
The amenities were amazing.
Beach sandals, Maui chips, water bottles, etc.
Although it's not located on the beach, it's a little cheaper, so I recommend it.

As expected, the room was cute and I was excited as soon as I arrived. There was free coffee and water, and shave ice every day, so it felt like a good deal. I was wondering how the location would compare to hotels along Kalakaua, but when it came to food, Duke's Lane and Waikiki Market were right there, so I thought Kuhio Avenue was more convenient. There was free coffee in the room, so I only had it once, but the coffee at Hideout was really delicious!

The location of the hotel is first-rate. Food and shopping are very close and very convenient, but it is a little far from the seaside. The hotel's swimming pool is also relatively small, but the food in the restaurant is very good, and there are different activities every day, which is very suitable for children. The service is also very good. I accidentally dropped the ring into the drain of the wash basin. They quickly opened it and took it out without saying anything. Thank you very much. Overall very good, will come again!

First of all, I took off one star because there was no shower.
It was so noisy until 12 o'clock at night that it was hard to sleep, so I took another one. Other than that, they were friendly and everything was good ^^

A great city hotel in the heart of the tourist center. A 3-minute walk from all main restaurants and 5 minutes from Waikiki. We were traveling with two kids, so Waikiki was not the best choice for us. It's too crowdy and waived. The best options for kids are Ala Mohana beach and Ko Olina lagoons. It's better to pre-book all restaurants, as there are reeeealy long lines. Honolulu has great shopping opportunities. The sales tax here is much lower than in California or NY, so you can get your Chanel or Prada for $300 cheaper than in your local shops. And they have a great selection of items more interesting than in Rodeo Drive sometimes.
Share your experiences, help others make the right choice!
Think about what you would like to know if you were looking for a review about a place to relax. Please describe in detail what you liked and what you didn't. What would you advise to other guests and to the hotel owner. The more fully you tell about the hotel, the easier it will be for other people to make a choice and they will be very grateful to you!

My husband and I and some friends had dinner here and it was incredible! Every one of our meals was delicious..we had salmon, short ribs, and filet mignon which was all done to perfection. The view is incredible!! You can watch the sunset and see the surrounding areas. Just incredible! A must visit when in Honolulu.

We came here with another couple for dinner, And had an excellent experience!

The food here is absolutely delicious! And the sunset views are absolutely beautiful! We ordered the steak and salmon along with the spare ribs. All of our meals were cooked to Perfection. We would also recommend ordering the shrimp as an appetizer.

We recommend coming at 5 p.m. or so in order to catch the sunset which is around 6 p.m.

Can't wait to come back in the future

Came here for dinner with my partner and we absolutely loved it!!
The restaurant feels very elegant and the service was impeccable and the view is amazing. (Although the night we went there was thunderstorms. The city skyline and the lighting was awesome to look at while we ate dinner)
This place is a must!
The corn soup was so so good and the steak... omg the steak! Was the best meal I've had for such a long time.
The menu is simple yet sophisticated and delivered to the highest standard.
To say we enjoyed it is an understatement.

Was my partners birthday and they even remembered to write happy birthday on the dessert plate.

5 stars!

Out of 6 dishes basically two were absolutely amazing. The scallops and the New York steak. The $200 surf and turf was crazy overpriced for what you got. The view was incredible. I did feel a little dizzy at some point if I looked outside too much

Sat at the bat. All of the bar tenders were great. Drinks were all good. They were very attentive and sociable. Food was great, service all around was great. Love the staff. Will definitely recommend and be back.

This is a picture of the receipt. Very cryptic and confusing. Food was above average but we left very unsatisfied due to bad drinks and poor service.

Ponderosa quality at a Ruth's Chris price. Lousy over salted steak with bland, paste-like rice. However, beautiful view, the same view that you can get downstairs at Dukes. If you are starving and must eat immediately, go to Dukes.

We had a really good time. The buffet was delicious and they also had vegan and vegetarian options.
The dancers were amazing as well as the singers, and the host was very informative.
Personally, I loved the evening show. We could see the sunset, the Diamond Head and all of Waikiki Beach in the background. It was truly magical.

I've been to every luau on the island and this one has hands down got to be the absolute best. Literally the only upscale luau on the island. It was incredible!! Service was great, food was OUT OF THIS WORLD, setting was gorgeous, show was very entertaining, the capacity of the luau was small about 100 so it felt intimate and it wasn't super noisy, we ate on actual dishes (not plastic/paper like other luaus) and the cash bar was great too!! Had an amazing time. 10/10 would wholeheartedly recommend to anyone and EVERYONE!!!

Paid almost $400 (2ppl) to watch a pretty boring show. The restaurant next-door has a patio where you can watch the entire thing for free and choose the food you want. The food is my biggest complaint. Buffet style with IHOP quality. Advice, eat next door and watch show for free. The dancers were tired and not in sync. So wrong to take advantage of tourists like this.

This was by far the best part of our trip. We sat outside and had a fantastic time watching the show with our food and drinks.

While we were staying at the Royal Hawaiian, we went to the Aha'aina dance show/celebration during the week of Christmas and we very much enjoyed it. The weather was not very favorable that night, but all the RH staff were very friendly and accommodating, and we were promptly assigned to a table inside the restaurant.

Though not lavish, the buffet was quite good. The Aha'aina dance show was excellent – with many type of dances, including the iconic Hawaiian dance and fire performance, were all performed accordingly – so there was simply no need to get to the Polynesian Cultural Center.

Note: Seat selection is on a first-come-first-served basis so try to arrive early if you can.
