Hyatt Centric Waikiki Beach in Honolulu

Great stay at the Hyatt Centric. Location was excellent. Only negative was the extensive “resort fee” ad it was difficult to justify the cost for the services provided

The sea view from the room directly overlooks the azure sea. The hotel provides both cold and hot water, and the pool offers a hot tub spa until 10 PM. Overall, it's very good and convenient, with many other hotels and restaurants nearby.

Location is great, it's walkable to restaurants and shops. Room is clean. There are 2 water bottles in the room and we can refill water next to the front for free.

Great location, easy to access foods, shopping and entertainment. Short walk to Waikiki Beach. 2 things I dislike about - i was given a room with no desk, charging my phone and watch is just troublesome. The room is on 21th floor, I literally need to take 2 rounds of elevator each time I go to my room or leave the room, just not convenient. Lastly, driving back to the hotel parking after dinner or an evening event is simply a painful experiencd, I have to drive few rounds up and down of different level, waiting patiently to get a space to park the car, and guess what it cost me $46 per day…

Great location and very close to amenities and shopping street. Staff were super friendly and efficient , with early check in extended. Rooms are very spacious and clean. Nice gesture of giving out 2 free BPA free bottles! No restaurant on site but that’s not an issue as there are plenty of breakfast places located within minutes on foot. Highly recommend!

My husband and I had the deluxe king bed city view room on floor 17 for 10 nights and highly rate it. It's a great, modern, reasonably priced, no frills option. It's in a great location; a short stroll from the main street. The air conditioning is effective. The curtains do well to shut out light when you need them to, and also do well at keeping out the heat. The floor to ceiling windows bring in plenty of natural light. We could still hear a bit of noise in the street sometimes but it wasn't bothersome. The bathroom is generous, including the shower which can easily fit 2 people. The housekeeping service is prompt and efficient. The reception staff are lovely and helpful. The elevators are quick; we never had to wait longer than a minute. The hotel never felt busy; we could easily get in, out and go wherever we wanted to go quickly. We never saw any children during our stay; we deliberately avoided resorts for a quieter stay being our honeymoon, and given it is a quieter, no frills hotel we got the impression it's more suitable and appealing to adults, which suited our stay well. The WiFi was good, and there's plenty to watch on the TV. Plenty of power outlets. We had no problems with any of the appliances or technology. We will recommend Hyatt Centric Waikiki to family and friends. Thank you!
