My mom and I had an amazing stay at Le Méridien New Orleans during the Essence Festival. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth, kindness, and genuine hospitality that made us feel right at home.
I want to give a very special thank you to Kristen, Carmen, and Irvin. They went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. They were always friendly, took the time to explain everything happening at Le Méridien, recommended things to do around the city, and made sure we never felt lost or confused.
When I accidentally got my days mixed up, they immediately took care of everything with professionalism and compassion. Their outstanding customer service turned what could have been a stressful situation into a seamless experience.
Because of Kristen, Carmen, and Irvin, our trip was even more memorable. They are true examples of exceptional hospitality, and they are a big reason why my mom and I will absolutely be returning. Thank you for making us feel like family. We can't wait to come back!
Most of all I loved the champagne from 11 to 12 also, the coffee.... Thank you

I had an amazing time on my girls trip to NOLA, and this hotel was the perfect place for us to stay! The location was fantastic—we were able to walk to most of the places we wanted to visit. The pool was peaceful and relaxing, and we found ourselves spending time at the lobby bar every day.
The bar was definitely my favorite part of the hotel. The breakfast was delicious, the drinks were excellent, and we loved chatting with Raven and Paul—they made our experience even more memorable. The front desk staff were also incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay.

Although my initial room was not up to par, the ladies at the front desk went above and beyond to accommodate me. Their kindness, professionalism, and exceptional customer service exceeded my expectations and completely turned my experience around. I truly appreciated their efforts and would definitely stay here again!

5 stars for Joy! We stay in NOLA all the time, but this was the most warm and welcoming stay ever. Her love of people is so genuine. This hotel is so lucky to have such a valuable representative as her. I highly recommend looking for her and chatting with her for just a few moments. She RADIATES positivity. She's easy to find...she's the fabulously, classy lady with the beautiful smile and fabulous nails! Oh and Valet pleasant, nice and very accommodating. Got the car quickly.

The hotel itself is in a nice location, and the overall aesthetic is appealing. However, the service and amenities are terrible. If you want ice, you have to go to the front desk there’s no ice available on the floors, and there’s a $2 delivery fee if you want it brought to your room.
Upon arrival, the valet took our luggage and stored it in a closet without giving us a ticket or any form of tracking, then went right back outside. I had to inform the front desk that our luggage was inside the closet, and she had to go get the valet to properly label it so the bellboy would know where to deliver it.
I also had ice delivered, which took over an hour to arrive, and the bag was extremely small barely enough for two people. I requested face towels as well; after waiting more than 30 minutes, I went downstairs to get them myself, only to be told they couldn’t provide any because housekeeping had them, and I would have to wait for them to come to my floor. Housekeeping never came to clean the room at any point during our stay.
At checkout, I requested a luggage cart, but they told me they didn’t have a bellboy working that day, so I had to retrieve it myself.
Overall, I would rate my stay a 5 out of 10. I wouldn’t book here again or recommend it. However, most of the staff I encountered were friendly especially Mr. Raynard he was greatly appreciated!

Nice, clean, simple hotel for a trip to New Orleans. Great location—just a short walk from the French Quarter. Amenities can get a bit busy, but everything was good overall. Nice bar, pool, and gym. Good value for the price, but be aware of the valet parking—planned to use it but ended up going with a cheaper option nearby after checking the rates.

This hotel was convenient bezause it had good access to the convention center.

The room is OK, but the service is bad. The room is not cleaned every day. Don't book a room with breakfast included. It will overcharge you. I waited for more than an hour to argue about the overcharge!

The hotel is situated in a good location. It just takes a 5 min walk to the river or to the French Quarter. The room is clean and convenient.

Location was great, sometimes a lot of noise from blaring police sirens. Walls were noisy both outside and inside. Information about services in the hotel room and on television was poor, for example menu, balance expenses, bed linen and bath towels use and change. Employees were variable customer friendly.

Decent food. Nothing particularly special or unique. 5 in our party. Good burger, cobb salad was fresh with a ton of blue cheese, wings are breaded and fried. No vegan options

Waited 20 minutes for a table and then found out there was a limited menu. Third time trying to eat for dinner and was disappointed every time. Had lunch several times and it was good, but stay away at night.

The patio was excellent for watching the game. But the lines at the outdoor bar were unreal. A line of 4 people would take 25 minutes. The fried pickles were delicious.

Good food staff is friendly. Not really a taste of new orleans but a great place to watch a game. 4 starts good took over an hour to come out.

Excellent service and great food - this is the best spot in town to watch any sports event. The general manager, Ryan, made sure we had a great evening. We will be back soon.

It's pricey here but the Chicken christopher and the spinach and mushrooms was great. I just ask that they remember next time to bring that delicious bread out after I order And refill my water.

The hostess Sheila was great. She was courteous and professional. However our server treated us very poorly.

When asking for the food menu the server's response was crass,"That's because I didn't get it yet." We were served tea but waited no less than 20minutes to place our appetizer order. He then left us for a significant amount of time such that 2 other servers had to help my partner and I while Josh was nowhere to be found.

When we were finally able to order our food we had to get service from another 2 persons who noticed that we were sitting there abandoned waiting for the food.

Ordered a bottle of wine to have with our steak and that did not come until AFTER our food was served. I asked for the wine before dinner. Isn't that normal with a bottle?

I did however leave a 20% tip just in case the poor service was in fear of no tip from us.

Differently a bit pricey but still great food

Ordered a “medium” bone-less rib-eye, got a steak that so well done it could of only come from a straight A cow!

While waiting on my meal, my entertainment for the evening was watching the cook play on his phone the entire time I was there. One can only assume he was attempting the latest high score or keeping his many Facebook followers up to date on his latest culinary disaster.

The waiter was attentive at first, but after the main course was served he was harder to locate than Waldo! Someone, I can only assume was the manager because they never introduced themselves, asked how the meal was. My coworker was able to answer but I mid bite, and raised with good manners, was unable to respond. The ability of staff to vanish at this restaurant is astounding as the manager vanished just as quickly as the waiter.

If you care about good steaks cooked right, and staff that do their jobs you are better off finding another steakhouse. Morton’s at 6:30pm is not busy there was no reason any of this should of happened other than staff that simply don’t care. If they don’t than you really should take your business to better steakhouses in New Orleans.
26.12.2016 Tipping
loud and crowded. Occupied tables all clustered together. Asked waiter to move us, which he declined to do. Then asked manager to move us, which he did. Waiter made sure he made snide comments about that. Took forever to get drinks, steaks overcooked. Pet peeve - places that won't seat you until whole party is present. Etc. Won't go back. It's New Orleans. Why am I eating at a chain restaurant?
