This hotel was in the heart of everything. It had amazing customer service but the room was a little outdated. It’s a historic building and super neat experience.

I recently stayed at the Omni Royal Orleans in the French Quarter and had a wonderful experience. The hotel blends historic charm with modern comfort, offering beautifully maintained rooms and exceptional service. The location is unbeatable—steps away from great restaurants, music, and classic New Orleans culture, yet quiet enough for a peaceful stay. The rooftop pool and terrace add a special touch with stunning city views. Highly recommend for anyone visiting the French Quarter!

This room was TINY. There is no shelf in the bathroom to set your toiletry bag. The elevators were not working except for ONE for the entire hotel. At times, we waited almost 15 minutes for the elevator for the 6th floor. I am not even sure the bed was an actual queen-size bed. This hotel was NOT worth the $400 a night we paid. The bar and restaurant service was SLOW, and the coffee shop was very expensive. Overall I would not stay here again.

There was alot of renovation and construction in the hotel. Only one elevator to service all of the guest and we were on the 6th floor so it was not convenient at all to walk up the emergency stairs. No functioning restrooms on the main lobby. If you didn't want to wait for the elevator you could walk up the stairs and go through weird closet type rooms to get to the 2nd floor and then around the corner. The AC kept getting turned up and hot during the day. We had to ask every night to turn on the AC in our room. The TV needs to be updated! Very old and bad picture. We were only provided 3 towels with 4 guest in the room so we had to ask for more towels each night of our stay.

Was over charged by 200$ and was double charged on my deposit, couldn’t check in till 2 hours after check in time
10.11.2025 Rebecca
There was only one elevator working out of the three elevators. That elevator stopped working and there was a staff/service that had to be used for one night when the one elevator was not working. The wait for an elevator was kind of long. This is not a huge issue, but the wait was slightly annoying. The stairs were available for use, but they were incredibly steep.

The hotel staff were very kind, warm, and accommodating. Would definitely stay again with hopes of elevators working.

The staff was courteous. The location is great and close to everything. The room was smaller than anticipated (at the price). Overnight parking is expensive. One of the elevators was down so we took the stairs most of the weekend. The hotel is nice but dated. I had a room with a balcony. Being on the balcony was nice, but it needs updated furniture and a fresh coat of paint.

Broken elevators. Under construction. Pool fitness center unavailable. Poor customer service. Unexpected extra charges currently being disputed - rather than credits due to messy conditions.

My room was an hour late being ready - I was late to my dinner reservation as a result. Elevators broken in the hotel wasn’t a pleasant experience either.

My family had a wonderful visit. Everything we tried was delicious. The staff were exceptionally great with my 2 1/2 year old which isn’t always the case in a nice restaurant. Too often they assume kids are going to ruin other peoples experience so I appreciate it when a place will give my kid a chance and we all enjoy a delicious meal.

I came for lunch, on a Saturday, at about 2pm. I was alone and it took about 5min to get a seat. The special lunch menu is a must! You get all Antoine's experience and atmosphere for a budget price. They don't have espresso, but my waiter ran next doors an got one for me! Wow, I would give 6 start if I could.

Exactly what it's supposed to be. Celebrated wedding anniversary and they greeted us with congratulations. Simple reservation process on open table. December Rebellion menu was great. Servers made the night. Several photo ops for great memories. Do the whole experience. Oysters Rockefeller, devil's coffee, and look around. Great history. Must do.

Like eating in a cool museum! The lunch special is awesome and comes with 25cent cocktails. Since we arrived early, our waiter, Armour, showed us around and told us about the really cool history of this place. We’ve walked past this place hundreds of times, but never ate there before. But because Armour nicely greeted us as we walked past and asked if we knew how interesting this restaurant was we decided to try it. Now we’ll be back every year (well, as long as Amour’s still there anyway ?). What a fun lunch today!

One of the best experiences while we were in New Orleans! We did the $20.17 autumn lunch special which was fabulous and so many great samplings of their local specialties. Our waiter Winchester and his assistant Randolph were awesome and made everything so enjoyable. Randolph gave us a great tour of the restaurant after our meal, and the history is so fascinating! Everything about it was great, especially the value of what we got compared to what we spent! Must do when in New Orleans!! Can't wait to come back next time!

Very Popular even in November means crowded in the morning. The coffee is good and the Beignets are great. Prices are reasonable,

Excellent place to chill for a while found in the midst of the craziness of bourbon street. Beignets and the coffee are great. Live music when we were there. Worth a check out.

1984! The beignets are delicious - served hot, crunchy around the edges, and smothered in powdered sugar. Staff are attentive and kind. Prices are inflated but the French quarter caters to tourists, so that's to be expected. Make sure to clap for the guitarist and leave the staff a big tip!!
25.11.2017 Daniel
Lovely open courtyard with live music but don't come if looking for friendly helpful service
24.11.2017 simonali6819
Live music in the courtyard is great, but the service at the cafe and the bar next door left a lot to be desired. Went twice, but quickly left the second time as there was no table service and I didn't relish being served by the abrupt barman who pours you a drink in about 5 seconds and then tells you to leave his tip in a bucket on the bar...

Food is delicious and Bobby is the one to see. He provides great ideas for what you would like to have. Don't cheat yourself by not trying the food and venturing out of your comfort zone.

DONT COME IN AND LEAVE. YOU'LL REGRET IT. MUCH BETTER THAN THE RUBY SLIPPER. Bobby was our waiter, very informative and helpful. Stop by and say hello. Leave satisfied.

Went there for breakfast and it was very busy! In fact, the place was packed. It's location is perfect across from the park where artists thrive and sell their art. Okay, on to the food...it was good but different in a good way. For example, the corned beef hash is not the old school hash I am used to (out of the can) but chopped in tidbits with seasoned potatoes. The dish was excellent and they serve the most perfectly poached eggs I have ever seen. The coffee is not very robust and the mimosa was more champagne with a "shot" of juice. We had to ask for more juice. Our friends ordered "The Screamer" which is a tea concoction with various teas and grain alcohol. A very dangerous drink whereby you can't taste any of the alcohol...yikes, but delish!. A nice place, but due to it's busy-ness you well not get the old charm French Quarter friendliness that we have experienced from other "joints:"

We were greated with a warm welcome from the server. They were really accommodating with us and our baby stroller. We had their seafood egg Benedict and BBQ ribs as well as the gumbo. The Benedict was good but it was a bit pricey. The ribs barely had any meat but otherwise tasty. The gumbo was salty just like any other gumbo I guess. Pricing wise is average in the area but to us from out of town, it came quite a shock. It was good to try though.
25.09.2017 Filipa
Even though it is smack off Jackson Square and in the Quarter it is homey, comfortable and easy. Not sure there is a "hype" about this place but the place, like some comments suggest. Like I said it is homey, simple food cooked well. We came in for breakfast and a late lunch and the experience was consistently great. Menu is small and very uncomplicated. Highly recommended the cajun breakfast potatoes as a side and the seafood is legit.
