The location is excellent. You can get anywhere easily from here. The shuttle is a shared bus, so it is not a "point A to point B service". The rooms are more like dorms, but they are clean and very comfortable. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. They have a full gym and workout center that we didn't have time to use, but it looked great.

It looked much better on their website than in person, but I guess that could be said about most places. Parking is off-site and a short walk a way, but still an inconvenience. No amenities to speak of, vending machines or ordering delivery if you want food in your room. Our bathroom had zero counter space, you were either putting stuff on the sink or the top or the toilet, that was it. The location was kind of nice, it's quiet and pedestrian friendly, with access to some local attractions within walking distance. Bottom line is that you get what you pay for.

+ Very nice location and appearance.
- No fan in the room and when I asked for one they said they'd bring one to the room but never did, and it was very late so I went to sleep after waiting an hour.

It's a very old building with everything very old, including the sink and bathroom essentials. Nothing fancy but decent for your stay. No complimentary breakfast or anything. Room service seems mediocre but neat. It's conveniently located by the water front and the mass general hospital so that's a plus. Don't go in expecting anything great but be assured that it is a decent place.

When we arrived, our room was about 95 degrees. The heat was on full blast for some reason and the windows were open. There is no air conditioning, so no great way to cool down the room. When we called the front desk, we were offered a box fan, and they manager told us “it is what it is, this is a 2 star hotel, there is nothing we can do about the heat, if you don’t like it, go somewhere else.” Next time we will, as the service is pitiful.

I reserved a room for the 2017 Boston Marathon and canceled due to a more convenient location being available. Was charged on my card and they will not give money back. I would stay away from this hotel as they cannot be trusted. There are plenty of Airbnb's in the area.

Pretty spartan accommodation. Great place if you are on a budget and want to stay in Boston. Housekeeping could definitely use some improvements, we didn't receive any towels to replace the ones we used. There also was no coffee in the morning, but Dunkin is very close, less than 2 minutes walking. Also, you can catch a MTAshuttle to North Station for free and explore the city by mass transit, which definitely makes Boston more enjoyable than if you try driving and parking. Stayed here a few different times, but if you are looking for more than a place to crash look elsewhere.

DO NOT GO HERE. I wish I could give it zero stars.Absolutely do not waste your money here. We started our stay here by receiving the rudest customer service a hotel can offer. The first thing they said was "we're going to need you to pay for the room" even though we were already charged and the money was taken out of my account. I told them I had proof that they had taken the money out and the manager refused to even come out and talk to me she talked to me on the phone the whole time. After that we were told that the parking on the street was free on the weekends! (Not true) Our cars could have gotten towed if we didn't double check with the police offer we met outside of the hotel that night. We walked in and were completely shocked at our jail cell looking room but were too exhausted to even argue at that point even though I really wish we had. This place looked rough. The sheets and blankets were stained, the walls had bumps and looked unfinished, the furniture was missing handles, the bed was so old it was basically touching the floor in the middle (how disgusting) and it just was not a nice place to stay. Luckily we only stayed one night but seriously please do yourself a favor and pay the extra few bucks for a nice place you deserve it.

This place is a joke! I never booked a room and now they won't give me my money back that was some how took off my credit card. When I called them and spoke with them, they were extremely rude and by the end of the phone call they were just hanging up on me and never fixed the issue. My husband just called to be told they weren't giving us our money back and they told my husband I told them we did book a room. That's NOT true at ALL!!!! Of course they are hanging up again, not fixing this issue and making up reasons as to why they shouldn't need to fix this mix up. According to them, no one checked in or showed up for a room, the room was even cancelled but yet they won't give us our money back.
So know we have called the BBB and Boston Police and have started a huge investigation over this. We shouldn't have to jump through hoops to get OUR money back for doing absolutely NOTHING.
