The location I liked very much. It was quiet and around had a few nice restaurants. Also not far to walk to shopping areas in SoHo. They were so kind and met me so late check out I would stay again on my next trip to nyc

Easy, friendly check in. Received immediate text asking if all ok with room and I was able to respond that I wanted more towels (traveling with daughters). Said towels were delivered minutes later. Great views from the rooftop bar, great coffee shop and visible security at door make for a comfortable stay during the busy holiday season.

Was a nice hotel with a good cafe on the lobby level. Room was a little small but fine. Location is a little odd; it's in an industrial area near the West side highway. On the other hand, it's easy walking distance from Soho shops and restaurants. Overall a good hotel, nice facilities and a good price.

Room was clean, but tired. Nick the Bellman was great. Front desk personnel were meh and the elevators need an upgrade. Bed was very comfortable, shower pressure was non existent.

Disappointed in this expensive hotel. No easy way to request room service! We requested room service at 9 am by contacting the front dek. By 2 pm, the room was not done. We went to the room and saw housekeeping In the hallway. Requested room service; but housekeeping said we were not on the list. She kindly cleaned the room anyway.
This and other details need attention: no soap in bathroom sink when we checked in; hair dryer plug and smartphone plugs don’t stay connected! Bathroom needs bright light to apply makeup, and the list goes on.

The location is a bit far from the station, which is a bit confusing, and the water pressure is so low that it's difficult to wash your face and shower. It's a reasonably priced hotel, so it was clean, and the check-out time was 12 p.m., which was helpful. The lack of a microwave was also inconvenient.

I specifically selected a room based based upon the images on their website saying that the room had a view. It did not! We were on the third floor looking directly into the UPS building. The shower head didn't work and it was extremely noisy. When i complained they said they can arrange another room the next day. The second room was in the fifth floor and looked into a courtyard of another apartment building. Shower worked but the sink would not drain! If you advertise rooms with a view you have to deliver and Hotel Hugo did not!

Walking into the hotel was a ice experience. The backdrop behind the front desk gives it character... good character and charm. The staff assistance was nice and professional.
Elevators are always busy thanks to the rooftop and other amenities.
The room was cozy, comfortable and clean. Bathroom was nice.
We enjoyed our stay.

Clean room. Small but typical nyc. Anthony with reservations went above and beyond. Hugo cafe food and Felix coffee was exceptional. Rooftop views are fab. Literally zero complaints.

The hotel is very nice and well located. Service at concierge excellent. The only disappointment was with the breakfast at the cafe next to the lobby where you are served coffee in a paper cup but are billed as if sitting in a fine cafe.

The most civilized place to see live music in NYC. Not a bad seat in the house, an intimate setting with decent food as well. Always a great evening at CW.

They went out of their way to help my sister who uses a walker. Lovely people. Great space to hear music. BETTY brought humour and wisdom to a holiday evening of great music.

Incredible ambiance and great music, however the food is way overpriced and took over an hour to get. I spent over an hour waiting for a flatbread. When I asked my server to speak to a manager the gentleman who spoke to me wreaked of booze and was completely obnoxious to us. The venue is a beautiful place and deserves a 5 star rating, but after the way the manager treated us I will never return.

Great service meets a generous wine list and a cheering crowd in this relaxed restaurant-venue. Go here for the specials. Our server Michelle was great and hopefully will make it big in NYC.

We went here for our anniversary and are so glad we chose this place. The ambiance/view was perfect, food was great, and service was excellent. Our server, Laura was so friendly and on top of everything- and we were constantly checked on by other restaurant staff as well. Don't believe the other reviews that complain about bad service !
