Red Carpet Inn Brooklyn in New York

Literally the worst hotel I have ever been. I should have checked the google reviews before booking!! It's worth spending few more dollars and getting different hotel, especially you have kids and family.
In a sketchy neighborhood, unfriendly staff,dirty lobby. Three security guards in the lobby should have been red flag.
The elevator wasn't working but we managed to find our room.It was nothing like what they showed in the picture when we booked. The room literally had a full size bed instead of queen and only one bedside table, no carpet, no hanger, no fridge, no shampoo or body wash.
The room was dirty, so was the wall and bed, we used bedsheet as a blanket.
We don't recommend this hotel at all. Please do yourself a favor and stay away.

This was absolutely the worst place we have ever stayed. We arrived very late at night and had no option to look for another hotel. The neighborhood did not feel safe at all, and seeing three security guards in the hotel lobby immediately raised serious concerns about safety.
The hotel room was dirty and clearly not cleaned. It was obvious that someone had slept there before us — the sheets were used, and the bedding smelled strongly of an overly sweet body spray. The blanket was stained and had not been washed. In the bathroom, there was graffiti on the wall tiles, the bathtub only worked from the faucet (no shower), and chewing gum had been thrown into the toilet bowl.
This was a horrible experience, especially considering the very high price for such unacceptable conditions. We do not recommend this place to anyone.

Even 1star is too much

Honestly might be one of the worst motels I have been to. First time I walked in and checked the bathrooms it smelled like straight up fresh dookie 💩

Lets start from the area. Its a motel so it’s not at the best location. People smoking outside.

Motel lobby it looks run down. Walked into elevator you are going to be hit with a strong smell of must. Elevator sides are covered with what it looks like mattresses? On top I don’t think its safe to even ride that elevator.

Hallways are alright for typical motel.
The rooms: Whew walked in to the whiff of dookie. Bad start. Checked the soaps and stuff inside the bathroom and boom The containers were empty. Like not a single drop of soap, body wash or hand sanitizer. Like when I walked in the bathroom smelled like dookie how the person before even wash their hands? Oh the water pressure is low. Shower had to be the worst. Hot summer day and the water is literally boiling when using shower head.

Onto the bedroom, all you are going to see is bed(s) and a small cabinet you will probably not even open during your stay. The beds sheets I don’t think was cleaned; I saw stains, some hair and to top it off smelled musty again. Luckily I used something to put on top of the bed so my body wouldnt have to touch that filth. And honestly the scariest part is the itchiness while sleeping and after I wake up. Not sure if it’s bed bugs because I tried looking and I couldn’t see one. Also my whole family was itching so it’s not my imagination.

Anyways if you are by yourself and can’t find a hotel and motel and this was your last option then just sleep in your car. And if you are with family, save your family the headache of staying here. Just pay an extra few dollars and find somewhere nicer.

If you're looking for a room/place with :

- no wifi
- no furniture except the bed
- no working elevator
- no working shower head
- no breakfast
- no coffee machine

Then this place is the perfect spot

Location is great and parking is free. At least you will be sheltered from the cold and the rain at a reasonable price.
Excellent place to stay if you want to get a taste of how it feels to be in jail.
If you're visiting in summer, consider sleeping outside.

Literally the most disgusting motel I’ve ever stayed at. Bed sheets filthy with stains and cigarette burns on it, ripped curtains, holes in the walls and blue tape holding up the TV. In the first five minutes of being in the room my boyfriend had to kill 4 bugs. The windows were left wide open and my bath towels had hair on them. I even took pictures of the place wishing that I could upload them. The place was cash only which was super sus and the bedroom looked dirtier than a prison cell. Seriously if you care about your health, do not stay here. I normally don’t write reviews for bad service but this was too disgusting to not warn other people.

This Place Sucks. Room Not Very Clean . I Wanted To Use Tub, It Was Nasty! It Was A Broken Jacuzzi. The Tub Never Had The Jet Hole's Wipe Out...Dark Dirty.

I Will Not Use That Hotel Anymore. No Microwave In Room No Bucket To Get Ice. Bed Far Away From Outlets. Smoke Detectors Missing. Small TV, No Cable Nothing Good To Watch.

Pricey and crappy. The worst combo for a hotel.
