Place was good before 2022, since then has been an intake for vagrants and homeless.

They sold their sole and reputation. I won’t stay here again along with the Rosevelt Hotel.

STOLE OUR MONEY. Avoid. There are plenty of accommodations in the area. We booked a room for early November with a no cancellation policy. One week before our stay, we received an email canceling our stay. "We regret to inform you that the Row nyc won’t be able to accommodate your reservation due to unforeseen issues out of the hotel’s control." They tried to transfer our reservation to the Crown Plaza. We contacted the Crown all the way up to our stay and they could not find us in their system. Row canceled our reservation and failed to properly transfer us to the Crown. One month later, they charged our card and will not refund us per their no cancellation policy. We did not cancel this stay and are out $1149.03. AVOID.

8/18/25 Update: No refund issued to date. AVOID.

Nice hotel, right around the corner from Times Square. The lobby is very nice and open. The rooms are indeed small, but not bothersome (we had the Superior room). The room is no-frills, but comfy. The bed was nice and there was a bit of storage. The bathroom is very small but it has everything you might need. Our room was clean; we didn’t have the issues some reported, but it could have used a deep cleaning in some spots, it definitely doesn’t look brand new. The elevators were fine, yes we did have to wait a few minutes but nowhere near what some report. The front desk was also fairly quick and easy, and the employees were very friendly. They were able to give us a larger bed so we had more space to sleep. It’s very close to Times Square, but it’s far enough from the crowd that it doesn’t feel too crazy right outside, although it’s still busy. If you’re looking for a hotel near Times Square and Hell’s Kitchen, I would stay here. I personally would not stay near Times Square again, but I really don’t like the touristy crowds and fanfare. Otherwise it was a good, smooth stay and the room was perfect for the long weekend.

CORRECTION ABOUT ROOM SIZE - SEE BELOW
We had a Deluxe City View room with 2 double beds for 2 adults, 2 children (teens). . The size of the room was comfortable for NY sizes. We had room to stow our luggage (we had 2 large pieces). This room was larger than the New Yorker, where we stayed a few years back - at that hotel there was no room for luggage and we were walking over it. It was pretty tight. This room was comfortable.

Good TV quality, nice view. Room was quiet. I never heard anyone above us or rarely in the hallway. Staff was very nice and the housekeeping team was very helpful and friendly. The only thing I would comment on is that I noticed that the room was not vacuumed every day. I did leave a nice note requesting that it be done and it was (we often brought pizza home and no matter how hard we tried, we made a few crumbs).

Location wise, it's great if you want to be in the thick of things and by the theaters. It wasn't our first choice but our first hotel closed so we had to find an alternative.

Still, a good deal and quality for the price.

Location is nice but that was the only positive. Rooms are extremely small with worn furniture. Staff were not at all friendly- very short tempered and would ignore your presence until you said something. There was a “resort” fee of $67 dollars. Not sure where that money goes because the rooms did not even have a mini fridge or microwave. The shower curtains were not long enough and whenever you use the shower the bathroom would be flooded. I called to report this and they brought two extra towels. Great solution… I do not recommend you staying here.

+ So much traffic as it is smack in the middle of Times Square. Extremely hard to find parking. Lobby is super nice and fancy and modern. The rooms are actually a closet. Super tiny. Was really amazed how small they were. A normal hotel room is probably three or four times larger. Interior is weirdly decorated. Some hallways are so narrow you have to walk single file and maybe even sideways if you’re largely built. It’s a good place to sleep if you just want an affordable bed in Times Square.

I just returned from my stay with a large school group. We were very pleased with our experience! The room size was extremely small, especially for four girls, but since we were only really there to sleep this wasn't a problem. I was pleasantly surprised that we had a great view of the city given that we had a "standard" room (I was expecting a brick wall!) and the layout of the room was nice for the amount of girls (lots of mirrors and spaces for multiple suitcases). One thing to expect is that the elevators are very inefficient. The system (small elevators, key pads) makes it extremely difficult to get to rooms or the ground floor at any time of day, which can be very annoying especially coming in late at night after a long day. Our only major issue was that every time we returned for the day our room smelled heavily of smoke, most likely because of the people who cleaned it. There was no door tag to indicate that we didn't want our room cleaned (which most hotels that I've stayed in have). It caused headaches for most of us because we had never been exposed to it before. We tried to air out the rooms each night when we returned by opening the windows, but that created heating issues which, combined with the smell, made it difficult to sleep. Otherwise, the aesthetics of the hotel were very nice, especially in the lobby, and the location was perfect for what we wanted to see.

Elevator is smart. There is no breakfast. Hotel workers have difficult times when u ask something to them. It is like they dont like helping or solving ur problem. You hear every noise in the room

Overpriced pizza, had subway instead

Pizza was ok but not great, and overpriced at $5.75 a slice.

Worst pizza ever, and it's difficult to mess up pizza. Staff were incredibly disrespectful, and I will never eat there again.

So I went in and I picked the slice that looked most delicious. And it was delicious, no doubt! Yum! But it was $6,50. For one slice. Isn't that... kinda unethical? Like... is that cool? Even for Times Square. $6,50. Just think about that for a minute. Six dollars and fifty cents for one slice of pizza. It didn't even upset me, I was just genuinely astounded. I still am. I'm dwelling in astonishment as I write this. Wow... Wow.

Yum w/great ambiance. We're surrounded by tables of diners speaking Italian...we must have stumbled on an authentic Italian restaurant. ?

Excellent food and service. Our food was at our table less than 10 minutes after we ordered. All the servers were nice. Our water glasses never had the chance to get empty because the water server was consistently checking on us. Absolutely impeccable service! You MUST try the pumpkin ravioli. Very close to the theater district, so it is the perfect pre-show meal.

This resturant is an upscale seafood reasturant with great seafood and exceptional service. But despite being a seafood restaurant, Blue Fin manages to surprise me with one dish, there steak. I love steak and have had steak in many places but I have to say this steak was the best I have ever had. It was juicy but not fatty a perfect balance between juicy and tender. I would definitely recommend this to anyone.

Service was great- and they were accommodating towards a pre-theatre dinner. The drinks were EXCELLENT... however, was very underwhelmed with the sushi rolls. I was not a fan of the different flavors and sauces that they put into the rolls (mangos in one, mint in another- yuck). For the price point, there are much better places in the city for sushi!
15.11.2017 Braulio
Went there for the first time the decor was nice. Can't say much for the waitress that complained to the bartender about a customer buying a drink at the bar because she was taking too long to serve him. I think it's very rude and unprofessional for waiters to complain about customers especially in front of other customers and asked did he pay on top of that smh. I would have thought this would have been a high class spot but with the unfriendly staff well I should just say waitresses I could see why not. Thank God I only ordered takeout and didn't take my wife there. It would have been very unpleasant stay. I think McDonald's staff have better service and better attitudes than the staff at Blue Fin.

Although it was two years ago, it was a date I still remember to this day. The food was excellent. Our host and server was attentive, polite, and his recommendations were on point. Sorry some didn't have the experience I had. We saw a great show, had cocktails below before dinner; and were quickly seated, because we had dinner reservations. I'll never forget that wonderful evening!

A group of 7 of us had to meet here for breakfast before a client meeting. 5 of us had bags. They fed us, let us hang out for another hour and checked our bags for us while we took a meeting in the area. Such friendly and accommodating staff. Breakfast was delicious. Can’t ask for much more.
