Pretty good hotel, the service is top notch. The rooms are clean and comfortable. There is everything you need. Corresponds to 3 stars. At the reception, caring staff. The location is convenient. The breakfast is great. I recommend.
-Best regards, Martin
Nice hotel with friendly staff. the hotel is centrally located and near to may key venues in Samarkand. good support from the staff and enjoyed the stay. was a good touch to have bottles of water available able to guests. The room was Ok maybe a bit small for me but not too bad decor was of a good standard.
I was a little scared to go here, it was part of a group travel.
So the room is really basic, but the bed is quite ok.
Good is the staff in the entire hotel, restaurant etc etc.
Food is way better than expected for breakfast.
So, very satisfied for a “simple” hotel.
What a great hotel ... big enough to have everything you needed, but still maintained that wonderful Uzbek atmosphere of hospitality and friendship. The reception staff were inviting, the rooms were spacious and the buffet breakfast was delicious.
We really enjoyed a wonderful night out in this very cozy hotel!
The staff were very kind and friendly. The rooms were very spacious, and the beds were very comfortable!! I would highly recommend this hotel to family and friends!!

The room was very nice, as was the bathroom. The location was very quiet, and I slept very well (the only slight downside was the constant noise from the two fog machines in the room). Breakfast was good, and the pool and the surrounding area were also very nice. The manager kindly cleaned my room an hour before the scheduled time. The location isn't ideal, but that didn't bother me.
Great hotel with a very friendly staff. They will provide whatever you needed. Good breakfast though it same everyday especially this strawberry jam. If your looking for relaxing place this highly recommended with great ambiance outside. It's little bit far from main city but still if you get taxi using yandex it's very cheap and if it's good weather u can do some walk nearby tourist spot...
The room itself was clean and in a good condition. Breakfast was a set meal yet a substantial one. Bathroom was a bit smelly, which unfortunately seems to be the norm in Uzbekistan. Bed was a little bit on the hard side. The biggest downside is the location which is inconvenient, far from most sights and restaurant options, so solely because of the location I would recommend to stay elsewhere unless...
I chose the hotel because of the pool and the jacuzzi and they are not in operation, there is nothing nearby, always going to and from any point by taxi, the breakfast was good, varied and abundant, although the next day the same thing was repeated, the room as expected, it is clean and the receptionist is attentive
Perfect hotel - new, breakfasts are tasty, central square is very close! Also where are bicycles and swimming pool!

Well worth a splurge. We took a junior suite and spent four nights exploring the city. The staff are helpful and the location is good
The hotel is in a beautiful refurbished 19th century mansion. After weeks of budget accommodation we splurged on a junior suite and it was absolutely beautiful. The staff are most helpful and kind and the beds are comfortable. Absolutely worth it
I really liked the hotel! The location is great: it's quiet, yet close to all the main attractions, including Registan Square. It's easy to walk, and there are ATMs, cafes, and shops nearby.
The rooms are clean and cozy, and the air conditioning works great—it's nice that it doesn't blow directly on your head. The staff is very friendly and attentive; you feel truly cared for. Special thanks to Mansur...
Yangi Sharq is a well located hotel within easy walking distance of many of the best sights of Samarkand. Mansoor and the rest of the staff are very friendly and helpful and will ensure your stay is excellent. The hotel itself is also beautiful with a very pretty lobby and dining area. Overall a very good experience staying here.
The hotel is located in a tourist area in the city center. Nearby are many historical sites and the university boulevard with a wide park and fountains.
The hotel itself is average, the breakfast is terrible 😖 (rice doused in boiling water and seasoned with some kind of spice, egg, bread, butter, tea, EVERYTHING!!!)
The noise of passing cars on the road was very disturbing at night; the soundproofing...
Clean, neat, good breakfasts. The location is ambiguous, along the highway. You can accidentally miss the turn
We stopped for a meal on our way to Tashkent. If we ate in Samarkand city, we'd have to go out again. There's a lot of traffic, so it takes a long time. Also, even if you take a bus that doesn't go into the city, there are hotel windows, which is nice. However, it takes a little while for the food to come out once you order it. I think if the restaurant staff, that is, the customers, were to consider...
I stayed at the Ulug’bek Grand Hotel during the World Triathlon Cup Samarkand 2024. The staff were helpful and friendly, and the room was clean and well-maintained. The breakfast offered a variety of options, catering to different tastes.
Overall, I had a positive experience at the hotel. However, for those looking to stay near the historical sites of Samarkand, this location may not be ideal as it...
We went 2 time in their Resturan best service very delicious polite people working as I have waterfalls outside seat inside seat so I just love it I recommend for a everybody

Mahmud Hotel in Samarkand offers a charming and authentic stay with a warm Uzbek hospitality experience. The hotel has a traditional architectural style with a cozy courtyard and beautifully decorated interiors that reflect local culture. My boyfriend and I enjoyed the stay. The room was spacious, clean and well maintained. The staff was nice. We were leaving early in the morning so I asked for a breakfast package and it was ready for us before we left. Also the breakfast buffet offered various food options.
Exceptional Stay at a Fantastic Hotel!
It is a family run hotel.
I recently had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful hotel, and I couldn't be more impressed. From the moment I arrived, the staff greeted me with warmth and genuine kindness. The hospitality throughout my stay was outstanding – every staff member went above and beyond to ensure my comfort.
The hotel itself is spotlessly clean...
Our stay at Hotel Usmon was nothing short of exceptional, thanks to the incredible hospitality of the owners. From the moment we arrived at 6:00 AM, they welcomed us with an early check-in without any hesitation, making sure we were comfortable after our journey.
Their kindness didn’t stop there—when we accidentally left behind our passport, they went above and beyond to track it down and arrange...
Very cute and intimate guest house run by a family. The uncle owns it, the aunt cleans it and the nephews work reception. Norbek and Umar are very kind and sweet, their hospitality goes above and beyond. I came at the tail end of tourist season so it was just me at the guest house. I often had lunch/dinner with Norbek, learning more about Uzbek culture and way of life. Rooms are sizeable, (no closets...
Lovely place - family run by really nice people. The room was clean and comfortable, breakfast was nice. It’s a short taxi ride to the tourist sights, and we could walk there in about 30 minutes. I'd definitely stay there again.

Had a lovely stay over four nights. the room matches photos on booking.com. Inside the room, the desk looking over the inner garden as well as the fridge really made it comfortable for escaping the heat during the day in summer. Quiet yet convenient location in a traditional mahalla. Staff are friendly, and spoke English well. Solo female traveller felt very safe and respected.
Really good value for...
The hotel is easy to reach from the train station by tram 2 and is close to the Siyob market. It's a traditional hotel and our smallish room looked like a fairytale with velvet and bright colours. The bed was quite hard, and the original sheets too small until we asked for bigger ones. The shower was old and the water not always hot. Breakfast was okay, staff very friendly.
I made a last minute booking at Hotel Kamila in Samarkand. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and comfort of the service. Despite the suddenness of my stay, the staff was friendly and attentive to my needs. The room, although basic, was clean and comfortable, allowing for a comfortable stay during my stay.

Decent place, the location was good with respect to sights to see. We didn't have water and the breakfast was so so.
The rooms and bathrooms are very small. They do have a beautiful terrace though, overlooking the city, which is something you generally don't get.

Amazing place, delicious breakfast, most importantly clean bed linen, towels, all perfectly white, overall 100% clean, pleasant staff, good location, I recommend it to anyone who values low price and high quality
I liked the Vostok Hotel. The breakfast was excellent. It was clean. No odors.
A nice, new hotel. Everything is very clean and cozy. Excellent firm mattress. Delicious breakfast: choice of porridge or scrambled eggs, tea/coffee, sweets or pancakes, and there were grapes and jam. They're very accommodating with small requests, which is a nice touch. The staff speaks good Russian. A small drawback (nothing is perfect, after all) is the presence of a nightclub in the basement of...

Nice hotel with a great location. Friendly and a nice place to stay.
Great location next to the historic square. Rooms good, not super modern but functional, loads of hot water. Breakfast had a great choice and they can make eggs etc on demand. Overall, this is a nice hotel. But what makes it wonderful is the location. The breakfast room and terrace literally overlook the registan from the back. It is a short walk through a nice park to get to the registan entrance. We stayed here the first two nights we were in Uzbekistan. It was a perfect place to deal with jet lag because while we were tired and didn't want to go out too much in the evening...
Good option next to the Registan
Great location. Very good service. Wonderful breakfast. Need to upgrade bathrooms.
Hotel Minor is a great option for staying in Samarkand. Rooms are clean and comfortable, location is great, and the staff is kind, responsive, and respectful. The rooms are indeed a little old, but the amazing rooftop, delicious breakfast, and generosity of the staff make up for it.
Great hotel, very central, great staff

The courtyard setting for meals and relaxing makes this old, traditional house hugely atmospheric. This is a very very nice hotel with great atmosphere. The owner was extremely helpfull and managed to regain my mobilephone lost in a taxi through endless negotiations. What a helpfull man 😊 Room are nice and clean, breakfast is Well server - everything is totally fine 😊
Absolutely loved the experience! Please note that this is an authentic hotel, it is not your usual 5-star Western hotel that one might expect from it. It is not an Ibis or Ramada. I booked through Telegram through friends' recommendation. The owner/manager was super helpful, arranged me taxis, booked restaurants, helped me with the train tickets even. The rooms are pretty basic, they have the aircon...
Comfy beds, building had loads of character, owner was incredibly friendly and helpful, fabulous breakfast. Bathroom a little rickety - toilet didn't always flush properly and shower covered the bathroom floor! otherwise would have been a 5-star review. Part of the building was under renovation at the time of our stay, but this didn't cause us any issues whatsoever and we were pleased to see this...
Hotel has nice rooms, a beautiful courtyard and provides delicious home made breakfasts. Aziz is a great host and makes the best plov we’ve had in Uzbekistan!

Above all our stays in Uzbekistan. Big and comfortable room. Very good location. Great breakfast with many options and the best, the staff was very nice, communicative and helpful.
We had a lovely visit to Samarkand and Hotel Silver Rows. It’s a small family run hotel a stone’s throw from Registan Square. The location could not be better! Our rooms were huge (and clean) with plenty of storage and places to put things. There was a small refrigerator in the room, which was helpful for cold water, fruit, etc. the AC unit worked well and the WiFi was fine, not super fast but okay...
Stayed for 2 nights - room 201, well worth the extra for the balcony - great view across to the Registan. Spotlessly clean & comfortable with high quality furniture, good bed, bedding & ample hot water in shower. Family run & it shows in the level of hospitality - breakfast superb (served at table). However main plus point is the location - am not sure there is a nearer hotel/guesthouse to the Registan...
After a few initial problems, one, which was out of Otabek (the owners) control were resolved....we ended up having an excellent stay for our 5 nights....we appreciated the room upgrade under the circumstances. Cozy place in a quiet area. Not far from the famous monuments (15 min walking). It offers a very individualized treat because rooms are very limited in number!
