I really liked the hotel. It's a cozy place. Nicely renovated. Very good breakfasts. Helpful staff. All the sights are reachable by taxi for up to 25,000 soums. I recommend it.
The room was clean and tidy. The location was good. It was close to the airport and the North Railway Station. The hotel was easy to find and close to Magic City. There were a lot of things to do there.

It is beautiful inside, freshly renovated. There was one minus - no elevator. My husband dragged the suitcase up the stairs, I was lucky. The rooms themselves are wonderful. The windows are wide, the curtains are velvet

Nice rooms, good atmosphere, nice Christmas decorations, really a comfortable place to stay. Only issue is the location, but given the fact that taxis in Tashkent are quite cheap not such a major problem.

It's not so close to the tourists spot but a 15 mins or 20 mins walk wasnt a problem for us ( nature of our work). So it was walking distance to Seoul mun, Magic city, Dostlyk bogi
All was good, the staff and the decoration of the rooms are excellent, looks like the same with hotel we stayed in Istambul Turkey, nearby there is Askiya bazaar but it's not such crowded as to compare to Charsuu Bazaar, it has as swimming pool and steam

You can use a Yandex App for booking a Taxi that would take 10-15min only to Amir Temur Square and 7 min to the nearest branch of the famous Besh Qozon if you wanna try their version of Plov/Pilaf
Make sure to bring cash with you in Tashkent. It's soooo much cheaper here than Almaty or Bishkek esp. Taxi rides, metro, and eating out! But make sure you have $ or Uzs

Also, be prepared to show your marriage certificate if you're with your partner, otherwise you won't be allowed to stay together. And if you want to invite a female friend over, that's also not allowed

We stayed for a couple of days in November 2025. Everything was fine: polite staff, delicious breakfast, warmth, a good bed, and we could find a movie to watch on the TV
The breakfast buffet was quite decent, but there was no dairy at all, although the dairy products in Tashkent are generally very good
The food wasn't as plentiful as in the pictures, but it met basic needs, including bread, sausages, eggs, vegetables, and fruits. The receptionist was very friendly and communicated fluently in English

The recepcionists, the manager, the chef of the restaurant and his team , the Young lady Nafiza who cleans the rooms perfectly and even speaks foreign languages
The receptionist looked like he owed him money all the time, and on the first night, he even let someone into his room to harass him. That was extremely poor service

Hon Soray means "The Khan's Palace" and the decorations are elaborate, fit for an old school eastern monarch! In my room there was no table to set up a computer, but there was a treasure chest covered in embroidered matresses
