Staying at Villa Doka was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. My husband and I spent five wonderful days there, and everything about our stay exceeded expectations

Our stay at this villa was truly special. From the very first moments, we felt at home – there was a warm, family-like atmosphere, and the hosts Andrea and his wife were incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful

They are some of the kindest, most genuine people you’ll ever meet. Their warmth and positivity fill the place with love; they even surprise guests with fresh flowers, which made our stay feel extra special

The villa offers stunning views too, whether from the restaurant or from the private room balconies. Everywhere you look, you can see the sea, which made mornings and evenings especially magical

From the warm hospitality to the spotless cleanliness, every detail made us feel at home. The true highlight, however, was the incredible couple who runs the villa — Loly and Andrea

The location is also perfect — just a short 2–3 minute walk to the supermarket and bus station, making it very convenient

The staff were friendly, professional, and always ready to help, which made the whole experience even better. I would definitely come back and highly recommend A&G Hotel to anyone visiting Albania! 👏

The hotel was very good and the rooms were very clean. The food very delicious. The staf was very helpful and responded all of our needs. Very quite place and i suggest this place for the families with babies.

The hotel is right at the intersection of the pedestrian street, which is great. It felt good to walk around the pedestrian street after breakfast. I felt very comfortable watching people coming and going

Excellent hotel right in the hub of the city. We used the indoor pool after a hot bike ride - very refreshing - great spa staff member. Hotel stored our luggage for 3 days at no charge after check out

Hotel is located in one of the best areas in center of the city of Shkoder. Rooms are spacious and well furnished, probably is time for a retouch in the showers

Very convenient whilst we travelled to Komani Lake for 3 nights. Good array of sport and English speaking news channels. Overall very happy with this hotel

The owners are exceptionally kind and caring - (Patrick the son of the owner is particularly helpful and kind), and it really shows in the way the hotel is run. The rooms are modern, comfortable, and recently renovated

The hotel is very close to the city center. After getting off the bus, you have to walk a bit, but there's parking available. The rooms are very clean, and the bathrooms and toilets are newly renovated

We had a wonderful stay! The hotel is modern, maintained, and incredibly comfortable. The owners are truly warm and hospitable — they made us feel right at home. The food was absolutely delicious

We stayed half-board, and the dinners were wonderful. The soups and grilled dishes are especially wonderful. This is a family hotel, and all the staff are very attentive and friendly

Breakfast is a typical savory Albanian breakfast, but if you prefer something sweet, just ask—they’re happy to accommodate

Everything here was perfect, the hotel, atmosphere and the workers here are very friendly and helpful (when we checked out one of them gave us cold water because it was hot) 😝

But most importantly, Artur is definitely a very good person, he helps with everything, you can write to him 24/7, about the city, the country, the hotel. We have never seen a hotel owner as caring as Arthur before

The area around the pool is beautifully maintained, peaceful, and ideal for unwinding — especially in the evening hours. Perfect for lounging with a cocktail in hand

The best spot in Gjirokastër! What a view... 😍 The service was fantastic! The food, (although you cannot get the full menu on the rooftop) was very good... Village salad, Spinach Puff pastries... 😋

Stayed here for two nights and had mixed feelings about the hotel: What worked: the location was excellent and very central for the old town and popular sights

While some reviews criticise the ease of parking and getting into the hotel, I honestly can’t see any way of making it easier given the hilly nature of the town! The fabric of the hotel was great too, which amazing views of the city from the dining room

One evening, there was an event on in the dining at a and the only way to get to the room was to walk in front of the band: this felt really awkward as if we were gate crashing a private event

Breakfast was enjoyable: yes, the buffet was pretty typical for Albania, but special shout out to the older guy who brought us decent coffee, pots of local tea and fresh fruit

While the room was mainly clean, every towel had long dark hairs on them. Not sure if this is a fault of the laundry

One of my bests experiences so far. The hotel is in a great location, very close to almost all of Korca's attractions while simultaneously in a quiet area that guarantees a relaxing accommodation

Excellent hotel and restaurant, great staff and food was delicious. The details made the difference, the design was beautiful and cozy. Truly had a great time with my family there

The hotel was very well upkept, regularly cleaned and all of its services were excellent

I did not stay at the hotel but ate at the restaurant. We had stuffed mushrooms, bruschetta, baked cheese, salad, and beef shank (calf muscle on menu). They have a great wine selection and even had live music

We visited this hotel as a group of motorcyclists and had an amazing time! The staff was welcoming, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was perfect for relaxing after a long ride

Furthermore, the personnel was ready to help with a smile on their face even at the most personal requirements of us like giving directions, translating, requiring a taxi etc

This trip was very good because of the hotel itself. It was in a brilliant location and was kept very clean. The staff were very friendly too which made this travel a lot more enjoyable

Everyone was very attentive,friendly and just lovely ,lovely people. they got my room ready early,gave me a free coffee and all were there ready to look after you.

There was also a desk with two stools and adequate storage space for clothing. The bathroom consisted of a large walk-in shower, toilet and sink. The tap was loose and needed tightening, but the room was otherwise good

The lighting was good, with both overhead and small lights above each side of the double bed. The air conditioning worked well and there was a small refrigerator

Great hotel 15 minutes away from Tirana downtown. Please be aware there is no elevator and no breakfast is included. Another tip: never take a taxi in Tirana, as they will skin you alive. Take public transport.

If you visiting Shkoder on a budget, this is certainly a very good option. The location is perfect, everything is at walking distance. The staff is super friendly and the accommodation clean and comfortable

Loved this spot! The suite was huge, clean, and really nicely decorated. The ring lighting on the bathroom mirror was an excellent touch. Our first night, we had a very sweet bartender/hotel attendant we really loved

The second night, we kept the windows open to cool things down, although our next door neighbor was smoking so that came in as well. The bed was very, very comfortable and we slept so well

The best price-value accommodation we found in Albania. Top quality staff and super service generally. It is in the midlands of the city but also super quiet with its amazing garden view

It is 10 mins from the center. Good, quiet location. The bed was super comfy. Breakfast is 5 euro, was not included in my booking.

We paid 5 euro a person to have breakfast included every morning, which was great. Standand balkan breakfast with hood options and fresh food. We really liked that this area wasnt very touristy when we went(in august)

Our stay at Comfort Hotel couldnt have been better. The staff were amazing, especially the headmistress. While on the outside you wouldnt know it, the inside was full marble and beautiful

Nice, clean hotel, in a good location. It takes about 10 minutes to walk to Skanderberg Square, therefore it is easy to get to all of the places of interest on foot. The room was very spacious with a nice bathroom

Everything is perfect, the room is clean, very cozy beds, the bathroom is very clean, and it's a new and modern hotel right next to a very pretty blue-green beach! Has proper toilets (didn’t last year) which were moderately clean (it’s a beach at the end of the day, it is not going to be perfect) and they had plenty of paper

I stayed three nights at this hotel, booked directly by the iCare Dental Clinic, where I had dental implant surgery, which was excellently performed. What can I say? The standard room was very spacious

Donny, Edmund, Tani and family made our stay very special for our first visit to Albania. Nothing was too much trouble, the rooms and food were excellent too

However, it would be much better if they had a functional TV with a bigger size and more distance between the toilet and the shower cabin or maybe put a shower curtain. The Ac was cooling the room fast
