This hotel was very comfortable. Even in winter, the heating was excellent, the hot water was hot, the breakfast was great, and there was free drinking water

Staff was welcoming and efficient. Can be noisy if live events in Skanderbeg square at night. Breakfast provided guests with energy for exploring city. Location was close to major bus station hub and other landmarks

The reception staff were generally very friendly and helpful, offering useful tips such as where to exchange money, which I really appreciated. The highlight of this hotel is definitely the restaurant

I hope the hotel can improve their wake-up call service to avoid this happening to other guests. Despite this hiccup, the friendly staff and exceptional restaurant made for an enjoyable stay overall

I did have one issue during my stay - I requested a wake-up call but unfortunately never received it. This nearly caused me to miss an early morning tour outside the city, which was quite stressful

The room itself is quite compact and the space around the bed is limited, but it was adequate for my needs. The hotel also arranges taxi service to and from the airport, which is very convenient

Comfortable, spotlessly clean hotel in an excellent location with a freshly made breakfast. It’s a good base for exploring North Albania, with lovely castle and Skanderbeg burial place nearby

The front desk staff was amazing. She walked us outside to show us where to park and answered all our questions. We loved the restaurant for dinner. It is a bit noisy but it is on a busy street so it was expected

The hotel was spotless, the rooms were very nice and modern, and the service was excellent. There is an indoor and outdoor restart where you can eat excellent food while enjoying the panoramic view of the city

The experience overall was okay. The location was a little away from the city center anyway we decided to stay at hotel and try the restaurant there

The staff was attentive , the girls have to smile more … but the boys were polite. I don’t recommend seafood crudo but risotto and appetizers were tasty. The room was clean and had the basic amenties we needed

Doro City hotel is an old fashioned hotel with few amenities. We were a group staying at the hotel. We spent little time actually in the hotel so it was ok. One tiny elevator serving all the guests

I had originally booked this because it was 2 minutes walk from the main bus station (which may never reopen apparently). In short, this hotel is an excellent value and I recommend it highly

They have two pools a small one for kids and a big one; from what they told me it is the biggest pool in the city of Saranda, half Olympic size so anybody who wants to do training this pool is the best in the whole city

The hotel is right at the intersection of the pedestrian street, which is great. It felt good to walk around the pedestrian street after breakfast. I felt very comfortable watching people coming and going

We did not stay at the hotel, but have had some excellent meals at their restaurant. I kicked off my weekend-long birthday celebration with the seafood platter for four, and everything was cooked and seasoned perfectly

It’s on a road, but not on a big main road, so evenings are noticeably quieter and early mornings pass without much traffic. For me, that’s a good balance: close enough to be handy, far enough to sleep

The 360-degree views are genuinely excellent and clearly attract plenty of evening visitors as well. At times this meant queues for the single lift — not a major issue, but worth knowing

My customer was about a 30-minute walk away, which I didn’t mind at all — early mornings and evening rush hour are good times to take in the city’s atmosphere

Wi-Fi worked well throughout, which is important here as mobile data can become expensive depending on your provider — especially if you rely on connectivity for work

The rooms are large, with a bed and a seating area. In my room, the small table in the seating area was a bit wobbly, but overall everything worked as it should

There’s a café bar at the front, and the restaurant (where breakfast is served) is up on the 18th floor in the business tower

The breakfast restaurant service is very good. There are many delicious restaurants around, and it is very close to the attractions. I will stay here again when I return to Tirana! Albania is so beautiful!

Although we arrived at the airport in the early morning and were late, the driver who picked us up was still waiting at the exit, which was very good

Getting there without a car might be a bit of a challenge, but despite that, I'm genuinely content with my stay during those few days. Staffs are friendly and helpful

The pool was outdoors and not temperature controlled but it was still very well kept and super clean. We still can not stop thinking about the AMAZING breakfast

Rapo’s resort has a restaurant too but the prices are much higher. We didn’t eat there so couldn’t comment on the food. The breakfast was delicious with a good selection

We spent 3 nights at Rapo’s in September 2025. The hotel is situated in the Potam area of Himare and is a quieter location than in the main town. It took us around 15 minutes to walk into the town and the walk is fine

I stayed at this hotel for five nights and had a truly wonderful experience. The hotel is just a short walk from a breathtaking beach, and there are electric carts driven by the staff that can take you directly there

The man on reception organised a taxi to our next hotel but also contacted some bus companies too for price comparisons. The bed was low but comfortable
