The hotel is clean, the staff is friendly, except for the girl who works on the sun loungers. The food for breakfast could be more varied, the downside is that you can't use the sun loungers in the front rows and if you are in their hotel, you have to pay €20 for those who want them.

Superb location. Easy beach access. The rooms have amazing views. We stayed at the top floor penthouse and it was well equipped with all amenities. Complimentary breakfast was also nice. The young lady attendant was a bit rude and seemed tobe annoyed with everything.

To all the ratings here, keep in mind that Rafaelo is divided in 3 parts. Rafaelo normal with the sections A to H. Next Rafaelo Executive (Maritim) with higher standards and exclusive Pool usage. Last Rafaelo Deluxe with highest standards and SPA etc. (Executive can use SPA too). We where in the Executive Hotel and everything was fine.

The room is clean and tidy and the service attitude is good. If you save English when traveling, it can help the front desk staff to confirm the check-in information more quickly. Overall it is a good experience. The front desk bar is also very good.

The air conditioning did not work well, the heat in the room was horrible. We told reception that a supposed technician was coming but he never came.

The room was not necessarily what you would expect from a 4* hotel (damaged and stained walls) but did the job perfectly for one night, and allows quick access to the city center (7-10min walk)

The location is great, right in the city center. However, this 4-star hotel definitely doesn't live up to its rating! The breakfast was exactly the same every single day of our 10-day stay – absolutely nothing changed, no variety whatsoever! They seriously need to consider diversifying their breakfast offerings!

The hotel boasts an excellent location, right next to Skanderbeg Square, with views of the square. However, the room was quite small. The bathroom featured a shower-over-bath setup, but the tub itself was very narrow, making showering uncomfortable. Amenities like bathrobes and tea bags were also missing.

We stayed an extra night. This hotel was very comfortable. Even in winter, the heating was excellent, the hot water was hot, the breakfast was great, and there was free drinking water. We really liked this hotel; the main attractions are all within a few hundred meters.

Fabulous hotel, very very clean, food was good, rooms were spotless and the maid service was great. Only downside would be the amount of work going on in the area but obviously this is to improve the area. This hotel is amazing. They need to do a better job to update the description because can walk to 3 different beaches from there. Each one absolutely stunning. The staff was extremely friendly. Absolute pleasant experience. The only negative was the set up of the bathroom which is somewhat on the smaller side. Still highly recommended and we will stay there again.

Expensive compared to what you got. The breakfast was very simple. If you wanted more than black coffee for drink, you needed to pay extra. The area around is packed with tourists, so if you want to see the real Albania, this is not the place. Also, sunbeds can cost up to 60€ but they normally took 15-25 for two.

It is less than 5 minutes to walk to a nearby beach where we were able to rent two lounge chairs with umbrellas for 10 euro. The hotel is clean and the air con works well. A very small breakfast area for a rather large hotel with rooms over 4 floors, caused a bit of a bottle neck, but the staff did their best making people feel comfortable. Located in a central spot; easy to get into the main part of town. But just a basic room. Thin towels; no makeup mirror; no A/C. just could have been better but it wasn't.

Lovely hotel in excellent location, 5 minutes walk from Skanderberg square. Room was clean with large comfortable bed and balcony. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice, including vegetarian options. All staff were friendly and very helpful. Would definitely stay again Minor niggles: Kettle in room but no coffee. Did eventually get some but found it difficult to make the staff understand...
