To all the ratings here, keep in mind that Rafaelo is divided in 3 parts. Rafaelo normal with the sections A to H. Next Rafaelo Executive (Maritim) with higher standards and exclusive Pool usage. Last Rafaelo Deluxe with highest standards and SPA etc. (Executive can use SPA too). We where in the Executive Hotel and everything was fine.

My experience was 10/10 i loved the staff , the view and the vibe was amazing. The food was delicious and the rooms were very clean , totally recommended . You should try it sometime. They had live music and very good cocktails. Also the pool was very clean .

I can't believe I forgot to mention the fabulous spa. Myself & 2 friends had the luxury, sauna, Turkish bath, massages, reflexology & facial it was wonderful.The staff were professional & friendly.The spa, we chose was 2 hours & great value for all the treatments & discount as they were 3 of us.The spa was immaculate & well worth the money.Treat yourself, your on holiday .

The room is clean and tidy and the service attitude is good. If you save English when traveling, it can help the front desk staff to confirm the check-in information more quickly. Overall it is a good experience. The front desk bar is also very good.

The air conditioning did not work well, the heat in the room was horrible. We told reception that a supposed technician was coming but he never came.

The room was not necessarily what you would expect from a 4* hotel (damaged and stained walls) but did the job perfectly for one night, and allows quick access to the city center (7-10min walk)

The location is great, right in the city center. However, this 4-star hotel definitely doesn't live up to its rating! The breakfast was exactly the same every single day of our 10-day stay – absolutely nothing changed, no variety whatsoever! They seriously need to consider diversifying their breakfast offerings!

The hotel boasts an excellent location, right next to Skanderbeg Square, with views of the square. However, the room was quite small. The bathroom featured a shower-over-bath setup, but the tub itself was very narrow, making showering uncomfortable. Amenities like bathrobes and tea bags were also missing.

Food is fine and the amount of choice is wide considering the limited size of the hotel. The employees are very kind and helpful. However, the mainpool is a bit too small when you’re with kids. Even though, i had received assurance that I would receive everything that came with my room, some things like toothpaste and toothbrush were not provided which inconvenienced my friends and I a lot. This hotel is amazing. They need to do a better job to update the description because can walk to 3 different beaches from there. Each one absolutely stunning. The staff was extremely friendly. Absolute pleasant experience. The only negative was the set up of the bathroom which is somewhat on the smaller side. Still highly recommended and we will stay there again.

Expensive compared to what you got. The breakfast was very simple. If you wanted more than black coffee for drink, you needed to pay extra. The area around is packed with tourists, so if you want to see the real Albania, this is not the place. Also, sunbeds can cost up to 60€ but they normally took 15-25 for two.

It is less than 5 minutes to walk to a nearby beach where we were able to rent two lounge chairs with umbrellas for 10 euro. The hotel is clean and the air con works well. The hostess (tall, slim with black hair) was extremely kind, friendly and helpful when we asked for information about kayaks, taxis, bus…she even made calls for us. No swimming pool but the sea was lovely!

A very small breakfast area for a rather large hotel with rooms over 4 floors, caused a bit of a bottle neck, but the staff did their best making people feel comfortable. The hotel was in a nice area just a short walk from the lake. Plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby and only about 30 minutes walk from Skanderbeg Square. Super hotel with wonderful staff - so close to the main areas in Tirana. Great location and totally recommend if you have never been to Tirana as it’s so quick to get to the near by lake for a nature walk, the bustling town centre in Blloku and not far from all the main tourist things to see. The hotel generally has a nice view. Cleanliness is acceptable. Toothpaste and slippers were not provided, but these are usually available in most hotels. The room had a mini-bar, and we had an issue with it. Since it was in the room, we assumed it was included in the price, as there was no note indicating it was extra. Hotel was excellent in all regards. Nice rooms, free breakfast, great location. Only had 2 problems: - private parking lot was blocked by cars, forcing us to park in a pay lot 1/2 km away for several hours. Wow, what a great hotel. Located in one of the best areas of Durrës. The whole hotel is clean and organized. The rooms are spacious and well maintained. The staff is very helpful and the breakfast included is great.

Super friendly staff, rooms overlooking the boulevard. Ask for an upgrade with a balcony. Near the city center wirh amphitheatre sns shopping streets. For a reasonable beach go north along the boulevard where there are some decent private beaches.
