Hotel Màgic Ski by Nexta in La Massana

We had a lovely holiday (a week,2 families,4 adults and 3 kids) in La Massana,Hotel Magic Ski. The atmosphere in the hotel was nice,rooms good size, very warm and cosy, a bit dated and noisy,but very clean. The hotel staff is really very good and profesional even if all are very young are very hard/good workers deserving best marks ( maids,restaurant and reception ). Just want to mention with many,many thanks to PAULA and MARIA from reception who were very helpful,friendly and kind each time we needed any information,ready to help us with the best advices.With their help we got rooms with balcony,close to each other,ski rental at the best price with a hotel discount 10% off, ski lessons for kids,ski pass and many,many other precious informations for us.

We had a wonderful week long stay at this gorgeous hotel for our skiing holiday. The staff all deserve a very special mention. Everyone who works here is super friendly and attentive, and couldn't do enough for us. It really makes a difference to stay somewhere where the staff go the extra mile. The hotel has a cosy feel to it with the stone flooring, and the rooms were clean and spacious. We had a pleasant mountain view from our room. I also thought the room's shower was excellent, which I must say is much needed after a full day skiing. We also really enjoyed the spa a couple of times, which is 10 euros a time. This includes a jacuzzi, sauna and steam room. This again really helped with my tired muscles after being on the slopes. The hotel is perfect for skiing, with free lockers and the proximity to the gondola - you walk up the stairs and you are there! Also it is very close to a great ski rental shop (although there are lots more in the town, of course). The thing I will remember most about this hotel is, of course, the food. Every morning, I leaped down the stairs for a buffet breakfast. I got my coffee and orange juice, then tucked into my savoury course: toast, bacon, cheese, ham, sometimes accompanied by egg and sausage. I'd then have more coffee and juice, before gathering a range of pastries for my sweet course. I'd then have a banana, if available. This meant every morning I was well equipped for the slopes and didn't need lunch - although admittedly the odd time I did have some chips to share! And the dinner, oh the dinner! Skiing itself was obviously the highlight of my holiday, but each night's buffet was a close second. Every night I got the soup, which included garlic, onion and seafood. Then I would have two (or thereabouts) savoury plates. There is pasta and chips every night, and always seemed to be a rice dish and potatoes. And let's not forget the salad bar. Then the chefs cook on the grill so you have the opportunity to eat fresh fish, for example. We also had sushi for one night only! Puddings were also tasty, my favourite being a creme caramel. One more thing to mention is the drinks were fairly cheap so I enjoyed a glass of wine (1 or so) every night. The bar is a great place for games and drinks before and after dinner. One night, a real MAGICIAN came to the bar to perform some tricks! Overall, we had an amazing stay! Thank you!

The hotel has the most helpful staff you could ever meet. Nothing is too much trouble. The breakfast choices were extensive. I can’t comment on dinner because we were B&B, but it seemed very popular. The location is perfect for quick access to the Gondola and onward to the ski area. The rooms were clean & comfortable and always warm. The only thing missing from the hotel is an open fire

Staff and facilities were very good. The buffet for breakfast and dinner were exceptional for a 3* rating. Rooms were adequate and clean. Bathrooms were also ample with endless hot water for the excellent shower or deep tub. Ski and boot storage facilities were well located and easy to use. The only issue for me was no Cider in the bar, but that’s being ‘picky’. I would recommend this hotel for itself, the location and the fact that there is a great bar next to it. Oh ….. and did mention the staff were great !!

Firstly there was nothing wrong. More importantly all the staff we experienced were very helpful and genuinely pleasant. We were always greeted by lovely smiles, friendly interactions and efficient service. A credit to your team and your management.

The location is amazing , atmosphere immaculate , everything is very clean including a nice smell all around the place. Food is great , and last but not least people here are amazing. Very helpful, very professional and always with a smile. Ms.Martina was such an amazing and kind person to us during our whole stay here. Very much recommended. Hopefully not our last time here.

Hotel next to lifts, average breakfast good rooms and could have better ammenities

Very nice hotel big rooms and big bathrooms. The breakfast has many choices . We will definitely stay here again.
