Aragast Hotel in Sevan

A very clean hotel set back from the street so relatively quiet. A novelty is the Craft brewery which is situated right next to the reception desk. The craft beers are available at the small restaurant in front of the hotel on the street - both pilsner and stout were good, but bit mild. The "brewer" and hotel owner was very friendly and helpful in arranging a taxi for our next journey. The hotel is well situated in the town but not near the lakeside.

If your planing to stay near Sevan Lake. This is the place where to go. Excellent rooms and amazing cafe.

A cozy hotel with a great location, a stunning view of the mountains from the window))) there is a kettle, bath accessories and excellent hot water pressure, which is very important in February, when it is cool outside and you want to warm up)))
Next to the hotel there is a cafe Parus, I recommend it!!! Very, very tasty cuisine, we took Sevan fish and lula kebab, the prices are very inexpensive

A fantastic hotel in a great location. The owner is super friendly and helpful. Very clean and modern room. The best in Armenia. Cafe food was also very good and always freshly cooked.

The hotel is modern and comfortable and reasonably priced. The owner, Armen, couldn't have been more helpful and accommodating. He speaks Russian and Armenian and some German but is very adept at using Google translate, so we had no problems communicating in English. Breakfast is served in Armen's café just outside the hotel and run by his wife. They both gave us advice about where to buy some essentials and even helped us buy Armenian SIM cards (they're daughter works in a phone shop a few minutes walk down the street). Armen even brushed the snow off my hire car :). Aragast is a good base for exploring the area, especially Sevan island and Sevanavank monastery.

A great near-new hotel right in downtown Sevan. Our room was spacious and spotlessly clean. The bed was by far the most comfortable of any of the hotel beds on our South Caucasus trip.

The owner is a friendly and helpful chap, who is keen to let you taste the freshly brewed beer in the modern brewery downstairs, and get your opinion about it (it's unfiltered natural craft beer of high quality, very tasty; if you like it, you can buy the bottled beer at the factory shop next door).

By the way, the hotel is built over the brewery, but otherwise fully separate from it. There are no smells or noises from the brewery at all.

It's right in downtown Sevan, with a supermarket across the road and various shops, restaurants, ATMs at close walking distance.

Lake Sevan is less than 15 minutes away by car.

Overall a great hotel, probably the best hotel of our South Caucasus trip: unreservedly recommended!

Very clean and new. Comfortable bed. Good location as well. All amenities provided. Even though no kettle in the room , they provide hot/cold water dispenser at the lobby. Owner was very friendly. They also operate a beer brewery at the hotel. Fantastic stay. There is also a bakery cafe kiosk about 4mins walk. After exiting hotel walk to the right to locate the bakery kiosk by the pavement of the road.
