The Friends Hotel in Yerevan

One night. The toilet didn't flush, so I downgraded. Breakfast was very, very basic. The location was probably convenient, but I only stayed overnight between flights.

A very well-located place near the center of Yerevan, where, despite it being my first time but my wife’s third, we felt very comfortable and as if we were at home. The staff is very friendly and genuine, without the usual hypocrisy of a fake smile and obligatory service. They are genuinely welcoming 🙂; here, you feel at home. Don’t expect a 5-star hotel for less than the price of a McDonald's meal, but do know that you’ll be surrounded by people like Armini (housekeeping), Rafu (security), and another security guard whose name I can’t remember, as well as the cook – all so pleasant. I hope I wrote their names correctly. Know that I will be coming back because I fell in love with Armenia, its culture, and with a place like this 😊, it’s all you need.

When you check the reviews, you’ll see that this isn’t a 5-star motel, but it’s far from a cardboard box painted like the so-called 5-star hotels here in the U.S. You’ll have a great time, with breakfast included, and people always willing to help without expecting anything in return. I just want to thank the manager and staff of this wonderful place. I had a fantastic time with my wife. Greetings from Phoenix, Arizona.
