We arrived on September 19, 2025, at 7:00 PM. We arrived at the hotel, but no one was waiting for us. Our rooms weren't ready at all, even though check-in was at 2:00 PM. After asking who we were and why we were there, we were given two rooms on the ground floor. The rooms felt like a cheap sauna. They were dirty, the wallpaper was peeling, and the rooms were dark; apparently the owner was skimping on LED bulbs. It was dark, with almost no windows, like a basement. There was no drinking water, no kettle, no tea or coffee, and no towels. For every issue you need to contact the reception (((, The Internet is a huge problem! It simply IS NOT there, despite a large number of routers on the floors. In general, the owner apparently has a peculiar idea of creating comfortable conditions and hospitality - each room has 1-2 TVs, but no TV antennas - like use "YouTube" - but HOW??? if there is no Internet either ((( It is very far from the city center and key attractions - I had to spend 1000-1300 rubles on a taxi one way! A complete lack of hospitality! The staff directly shows that you are not welcome (((. It turned out that an underage girl works at the reception, I found out only when I made a remark about the massive shortcomings - apparently she had an upset, after which the owner of this flophouse rushed to the hotel. An absolutely inadequate guy, yelled like a mad cur, not giving us the opportunity to explain what we as guests want to see, All of this was accompanied by swearing and cursing, and the phrase that particularly stuck in my mind was, "If you don't like it, go back to your (insult) Russia" - in my 25 years of traveling the world, I've never encountered such an attitude anywhere!

We had a booking for 11 people with “pay at the property” clearly stated in the confirmation. However, one week before our arrival, the hotel tried to charge my card without prior notice. Since I expected to pay on arrival, my card didn’t have enough funds.

Instead of resolving the issue professionally, I received rude and cynical messages. The manager was extremely disrespectful and dismissive, saying “this is not our problem” when I explained the situation. Later, they unofficially canceled our reservation — without marking it canceled on Booking.com, most likely to avoid penalties.

Even after Booking.com contacted them on our behalf, there was no cooperation or willingness to help. They raised the price 5x and clearly tried to resell our rooms for profit, leaving us with no place to stay at the last minute.

This was not just unprofessional, it was unethical. The staff showed no regard for customer service, only interest in money. Stay away if you value transparency and basic respect.

Disappointing Stay Due to Poor Maintenance and Unprofessional Staff
‏I recently stayed at this hotel and unfortunately had several issues that affected my experience. Firstly, the toilet water leaked into the room, which was very unpleasant and concerning from a hygiene perspective. Additionally, the ventilation was poor, causing a strong and uncomfortable smell throughout the room.
‏What was most disappointing was the staff’s behavior. The manager claimed there was a broken pipe and insisted we change rooms. However, it became clear that this was not true, and the room was actually being held for another family. This felt very unprofessional and dishones

WARNING⚠️: Do NOT stay here — Unprofessional, RACIST, and abusive manager (Tatev)

This was one of the worst experiences my family has ever had at a hotel. My elderly parents and sister stayed here, and what happened to them was absolutely unacceptable, disgusting, and traumatic.

The staff barely spoke any English and had no understanding of their own booking system. My family had extended their stay and paid in full to stay in the same room. One staff member confirmed this, and everything was supposedly settled.

But the next day, while they were outside the city on a day trip, the manager (Tatev) messaged and said they had to move rooms — contradicting the staff's earlier instructions. When I tried to call her to calmly sort things out, she ignored my call and blocked me on WhatsApp.

Then comes the most shocking part: Tatev entered their room without permission, touched and moved all of their personal belongings to another room — with no consent, no notice, no apology. This is a blatant invasion of privacy and completely illegal.

When my family returned to the hotel and respectfully tried to ask why this had happened, Tatev began shouting at them, harassing them, and even made racist remarks about Iranians. Instead of owning up to her mismanagement, she was aggressive, rude, and disrespectful to the point of verbal abuse.

This woman should not be managing any hotel or interacting with guests. She has no basic sense of hospitality, no professionalism, and her behavior was discriminatory, unethical, and utterly disgraceful.

If you are Iranian, or anyone expecting basic human decency — avoid this place at all costs. Nobody should have to go through what my family did.

We had a dreadful experience. I booked two rooms for the family for a week. Both rooms were dirty, smelly and missing pillows and covers. The reception staff blamed the ‘Egyptian cleaning boy’. Unacceptable excuse because they did not have proper supervision. We arrived at 2AM and unfortunately had to leave and check in Holiday Inn.
We lost all the money paid for the week( No refund policy). This hotel is a scam, authorities in Yerevan should audit it and fine the owner. Bad image for the country.
