Alpenhotel Kramerwirt in Mayrhofen

One of the most beautiful hotels in Mayrhofen with excellent service. The staff and owners are very competent and friendly. The food was also very pleasant. I was very happy to stay with you as a guest.

A great vacation with friends! You'll feel right at home. The staff is so friendly and helpful. The food is delicious, and the entire hotel is spotless. The wellness center with a pool is located above the rooftops of Mayrhofen and is truly worth a visit! Overall, a perfect vacation and highly recommended!

We called to make a reservation for the buffet breakfast and the lady told us our group of 12 could come around 9:15am. We arrive on time and they show us to our seats and we get a very warm welcome with a sweet waiter that brings us coffee and helps us with plates. The inside is decorated very beautifully and the bathrooms downstairs are very clean and unique! My only problem is the buffet breakfast food was almost gone and we all only got one plate of food. They did not make more when it ran out and we came at the time we were told so it did not seem fair that we paid full buffet price and could not have more food like we wanted because it was all gone and they did not make more. The coffee machine was really good, though and they have a lot of different options to choose from!

We stayed in the 3* Annex to the main hotel. Its a 30sec walk between the buildings. The food was fantastic at Breakfast and Dinner. The service from the reception staff and waiting staff was brilliant. A special mention for our waitress Verena- thanks. We would 101% stay here again. The ski bus is frequent, and you can even walk to the train station in 5mins, or take the B bus. The train station gives you access to the Greenline bus to the Glacier and also the train to the Zell am Zillar ski area which is our favourite. We got a taxi to Zell just to save time. The only minor downsides of the hotel annex are - 1) noise. If you are a light sleeper, bring ear plugs. The church bells will wake you up at 7am. Some rooms in the annex get early morning unloading noise from the supermarket. 2) the ski buses stop at ~5:30pm, so it's a bit of a walk from the Penkenbahn après ski bars to the hotel. Get a taxi if you're lazy. Hopefully we'll be back next ski season.

This was my second stay at this beautiful hotel. We were 3 friends sharing a room (so very pleased to have doors onto the adjoining single bed!) The service here is excellent, informative, professional & super friendly. The food was delicious & the buffet breakfast was outstanding. The boot room is so convenient & the bus stop right outside. Thank you so much for an exceptional stay (and for adding chillies to the omlette!)

Family ski holiday during UK half term, we booked direct and chose to drive from the UK. Wonderful hospitality, food was excellent and the family room was spacious with a modern large bathroom. Ski bus stops right outside. They even have EV charging in the garage. We will be back.

Outstanding Hotel – Highly Recommended

I had initial concerns about the location, but they were completely unfounded. The hotel is perfectly situated close to the town centre, making everything easily accessible. For skiing, the convenience is exceptional—there’s a bus stop right outside, and taking Route A or B gets you to the Penkenbahn lift in just a few minutes. A great bonus: this stop is the first pickup, so you’re always guaranteed a seat!

The dining experience is excellent, with delicious food served in a beautiful dining room. The staff are exceptionally friendly and attentive, creating a welcoming atmosphere throughout the hotel. The rooftop spa is a highlight, featuring multiple saunas, a steam room, and a jacuzzi—perfect for unwinding after a day on the slopes. The bedrooms are spacious, comfortable, and well-appointed, ensuring a great night’s sleep.

I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel. A huge thank you to all the staff for making our stay so enjoyable. A well-deserved 10/10!

Stayed for a second year here in the annexe, slightly basic rooms but spotlessly clean. Nothing is too much trouble fir them, massive range of delicious food at meal times, really enjoyed it

My family and I had the most magical stay over Christmas! The staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly. The hotel is beautiful and the food was delicious! I would highly recommend! The food was incredible with a mix of traditional local foods, buffets and table service. Every night was at least 3 courses. Breakfast was brilliant too, with the chef cooking fresh eggs everyday. They happily catered for my mother who is a celiac. Our waiter Richie was very attentive and friendly, thank you! I apologise that I can’t remember the name of the lovely female waitresses who were covering breakfasts, they were also so happy and friendly! We travelled with my 7 month old daughter, the hotel provided a cot, high chair and baby bath! The owners of the hotel even got our daughter a lovely little knitted rabbit for Christmas! The staff were so lovely to our daughter, stealing cuddles and making her laugh! They were happy to sterilise our bottle in the kitchen microwave. (We only have one bottle as a back up incase we got caught out skiing, if your baby is bottle fed I’d recommend bringing a steriliser). We stayed in the hotels sister hotel opposite the main hotel, but had all our meals in the main hotel. The accommodation was good, large Austrian twin, hot showers, area for skis downstairs, lovely terrace looking out onto the old courtyard area and church! We were given fresh towels everyday. For a fee of €25 we were allowed to use the main hotels spa area which was lovely. The hotel is in an excellent location, you can easily walk into the village for bars/shops, there is a ski bus located just outside the hotel. On Christmas Eve the hotel hosted a special Christmas meal which began with mulled wine, speeches and readings outside the hotel. The hotel itself was decorated with lovely Christmas trees and lights! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Thank you everyone!!!!
