Paul's Hotel was a terrific hotel in Knokke-Heist, we really felt welcome and enjoyed our stay. Its in walking distance to the beach and about 30 minutes from the city centre on foot. The room was spacious (I booked the family room), a bit old, but I thought that made it more homey.

The room was ok. Nothing extraordinary but also not bad. The staff was very helpful and nice. The location was great. Close to the local ferry, train central station and restaurant and bar area. Break was buffet style but the food was good.

Minutes walk from the train station sits the Strand (Du Bassin) hotel. Very friendly staff and excellent food. No AMEX accepted. Stayed five nights and the room was just right for me.

Hotel is quaint, in a period building with high ceilings and creaky floorboard. Staff were helpful, parking in their garage convenient, and the neighbourhood was quiet. TV didnt work, nor the Bathroom light, but the receptionist fixed the latter and we didn't bother to mention the TV. Main negative was the very bad smell from the drains in the bathroom, and the lack of air con.

Interesting character property that could probably do with a bit of a refresh. The room was a good size, with a comfortable bed. A couple of minor flaws, wiring was visible on the ceiling light, and the window frames had seen better days. I will probably stay elsewhere next time I am in Ghent.

Very nice small hotel! Breakfast was amazing. The room was comfortable, the area is beautiful, and we happened upon a small festival in the city center. We plan to stay again if we are ever in Ghent in the future!

Really great service and location

Our stay at Hotel du Commerce in Houffalize was fantastic. The breakfast is delicious and extensive, and the food is super tasty (scallops, venison tartare, tagliata, sole). The cozy corner with armchairs makes it extra inviting and feels like coming home. The room was perfect, the staff friendly, and the owners a fantastic couple. Highly recommended!

The hotel is well located (between Bruges and Knokke). Satisfactory quality/price ratio. The only negative point is the parking charged at €15/per day as well as the same breakfast charged at €15 per person which raises the starting price. Free parking and a €10 breakfast would be more satisfactory.

We loved our stay at this charming little property! The room was very comfortable and clean. Had the best nights sleep here because the neighbourhood where the property is located is quiet and feels safe. The property itself is about a 25min walk from the main attractions and square in Bruges. Really enjoyed our stay here and would absolutely be back if we are in Bruges again!

Very thin walls, otherwise ok Basic nice hotel with the nice view and location. Walls are very thin though. You can hear everything, including the alarm of your room neighbor which they did not turn off fand it was ringing for many minuts and waking us up too. Also we could hear them having sex at 4.00 am.. Don't expect much from the breakfast- it does not have fresh fruits, mostly bread and cheese

Hotel was great location right in the square, however, i was looking for hotel o leper not just hotel o. Rooms could do with updating. Our room had a broken mirror, broken shower rail and the radiator wouldnt switch off which meant i had to have the window open all night and didnt sleep well due to noise outside. Not worth repeating. Price/quality is subpar. The elevator doesn't work. The coffee machine at breakfast usually doesn't work either. Mold in the shower and the carpet in the room was filthy, to put it mildly. €220 for a filthy room??

A decent little hotel. Friendly reception. The room didn't look like the photo on Trip, but it's unclear whether that was the hotel's fault. The room was fine, the bathroom was outdated, but otherwise fine. The mattress was a bit hard and might need replacing. The view was fantastic. All in all, for a last-minute stay during peak season, the price-quality ratio was excellent.

Nice café for coffee and dessert Stopped by for a coffee and some cake – both were really good. The café has a pleasant atmosphere with good background music. The restroom was clean and tidy, which is always a plus. The staff was friendly, though service could have been a bit quicker. Excellent vibe and atmosphere. Best possible in the price category. The only inconvenient is that the room was facing an establishment that closed at 4am and the room sound insulation was not good enough.
