Boutique Hotel Onderbergen, Gent1 / 13

Staff was exceptionally helpful, room was spotless, and location was excellent. Would recommend for fellow travellers; the 4 person room was perfect for our needs.
Very good location. Staff were fantastic. Room was slightly dated but great size and had amenities we needed.
Very small room but lovely and warm and incredibly clean. Would definitely stay again. Staff incredibly helpful and kind.
Was excellent. Staff fabulous. Room was perfect for our stay of 3 nights. I would absolutely come back. Thank you from Canada
The staff was incredibly helpful with anything I needed, the attached restaurant was excellent, it’s super close to some really amazing places, but tucked away enough to be quiet in the evening. Extremely comfortable beds and coffee in the room!
This place is a Gem Beautiful hotel, 5 mins walk to the tourist sites, very quiet street. Jenny was very welcoming and provided us with great information on things to see and places to eat. Highly recommended!

At first glance, this quaint hotel might make you second-guess your decision—there are small stains on the carpet, the walls, and the ceilings. But what Postiljon lacks in thorough maintenance, it more than makes up for with everything else. And I mean everything. The service is excellent—the staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. The afternoon/evening concierge recommended restaurants and...
Excellent hotel location. Rooms and hotel lovely and chic and clean. Staff very friendly and helpful . good value for money. In a busy vibrant area so expect some noise but perfect for us thank you ! We would definitely use this hotel again for a city break
We are currently on our second day & leaving tomorrow, our room 1.2 is very nice and quirky with no noise from outside considering we are right in the centre of the pedestrianised old town with a nice touch of a mini fridge in the guise of an old fashioned radio & large shower. We travelled on our motorbike & the lovely hosts went out of their way to provide secure parking for it which we are so grateful...
This city centre hotel next to the cathedral is set over three floors. Because of the age of the building the steep and winding stairs may prove difficult to those of limited mobility. The rooms are graded as superior, standard and budget and priced accordingly. Our superior room was large and on the ground floor. The bathroom was in need of refurbishment and the addition of a wardrobe would be a...
The service was correct, but it was a bit expensive for the condition of the hotel and the variety of the breakfast. The bed was comfortable but the room was quite tiny. The location was very good, but since it's so central you hear everyone (most of the time drunk) shouting on the street during the night. You also hear everytime when anyone goes to the (shared) toilet. I can recommend it if you're...
Nice hotel located next to the Grote Markt and really cute streets full of cafes and restaurants. Breakfast buffet is really nice and the staff is friendly. Room was really simple (no tv, no bathroom) but a super comfy bed; we got the room next to the street and we enjoyed the bells from the cathedral that is just next to the hotel, at night could be loud for some people thought.

We had a pretty nice experience with good service, a perfect location in the middle of the centre and we enjoyed our time over there very much!
Had a little staycation here for a night and it’s a nice hotel if you’d like to splurge a little. It’s super duper close to the train station and only a short walk to a number of restaurants and fast food chains.
The hotel is very clean and in an excellent location, just a short walk from the train and bus stations, with a tram stop right in front of the property. Check-in was a bit slow due to the large number of guests, but the staff handled it politely. The room was spacious and spotless, making the stay very comfortable.
Located just outside the train station so it’s convenient. You have to check in in separate building though which is 5 minutes away. The room is spacious and the bed is super comfortable. There is a problem of doubling city tax which it written to be included with the room when paying from this app but then I got charged again in the front desk.
The most beautiful train station in the world - next to it, convenient transportation, easy access, the hotel is a bit old, but it is clean and quiet to live in, the price is good value for money, the disadvantage is that parking is not very convenient.
Love it! Great location, found the hotel right after exiting the station. Breakfast was always nice, and the staff were friendly.

Enjoyed the stay. Slept well. Good pillows. Dark room at night. All good.
Great Experience , clean and Very Friendly and Assisting staff during my check in. Thank you.
The location is quite good, about 5-10 min walk from the central station. Though the facilities are old, there are no unpleasant smell in the room, and it is kept in very clean and tidy way. The toilet is also quite clean and good to use. Service is warm and nice. We were there for Ladygaga's concert, the reception lady told us that we can take the metro for free by the concert ticket. Thanks a lot
Staff was very kind except for the receptionist at checkout who would not let me stay fo
Hotel at an excellent location in Antwerp. Rooms are big, clean and nice. There is only one towel per person and no hand towel. This could be improved. Location is excellent, in the center with supermarkets at walking distance.
Room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Bathroom could do with updating though

Amazing, old-fashioned hotel and a very nice and communicative staff. You need to be prepared for old furniture and facilities, but they just fit the style of this accommodation. If you have the possibility to try the breakfast: do it! It was one of the best I ever had in a hotel, although (or because of) there was no buffet.
Very special hotel, as if frozen in time when it has first opened more than 30 years ago, or built about 80 years ago I guess. The owner is a lovely and smily guy, and with his lovely friendly dog made my arrival as pleasant is it could ever be. Don't expect any modern gadgets of fancy technologies, but enjoy the real simplicity of great hospitality. Btw- I loved the breakfast too!
Charming place in Art Deco style. Very friendly people. Old but spacious and comfortable rooms. Personal service at breakfast (so much nicer than a buffet). Close to public transportation and city center. There is no restaurant inside the hotel, but the nearby restaurant Minerva (seemingly of the same owners) is worth a visit: it has an excellent Belgian cuisine and offers high class service.
A very friendly and traditional former Antwerp merchants home run by husband and wife. Rooms were spacious and comfortable, but the breakfast in the morning was wonderful - well done! Great for a quiet stay in something a little more special than a large chain hotel.

About 200 metres from the rail station, bus and tram stops. Room comfortable and helpful staff. Good breakfast. There is an independent bar on Lippenslaan under the building. Overall a comfortable stay as expected. A small Proxy supermarket about 100 metres on Lippenslaan.
Nice 3 star hotel in the centre of town. Lots of character, some older rooms, some new. Room at front was very noisy at night, but they arranged a move to a quieter room at the side after first night, which was fine. Good breakfast buffet selection including decaffeinated coffee.
Aircon was noisy Loud traffic noise outside Building is old Breakfast too expensive for what you get
A super friendly night receptionist, comfortable rooms, good breakfast with a very reasonable variety of food. Good value for money. And an hotel that has an archer as decoration in the room deserves 5 stars all over!
Breakfast was very nice. Personal is friendly. Only in my room was missing few little things. At least small bottle of water will be nice. Shower also need some repairs.

Very comfortable apartment. Well equipped and cozy. Situated in the oldest part of the city. The host showed us the cellar which was built in the 14th century.
The Sint Donaas apartment is large and spacious. It is equipped with all comforts and is located just a short walk from the center of Bruges. The welcome was very welcome.
This is one of the best hotels I've ever stayed at. The area of the apartment was spacious, the style of the room felt very Flemish. It was a very beautiful and very welcoming place to stay in one of my favourite cities in the world.
Welcome drinks with Tom and his father upon arrival with other guests including a brief history of the building. Fully equipped, secure loft apartment for us 6 ladies for the weekend exploring Bruges and within walking distance of shops, restaurants etc.
We stayed at De Drie Koningen as a group of mature friends for 6 days, and everything was wonderful — from the comfortable bedrooms with private showers to the beautiful living room where we could gather around the large dining table. The cozy, fully equipped kitchen and the lovely balcony made our mornings especially enjoyable. And the pool and lawn in the yard were a real bonus — we only wish we...
We stayed in the one bedroom apartment, Carmers. Very spacious, kitchen/dining area and a living room. Tom was around when we arrived and helped with bags. The laundry was great, and they have an honor bar with beer and wine. Short walk to a small grocery, and minutes to the main square, but area very quiet in the evening. Agree with comments to use taxi with bags. The free shuttle drops off nearby...

I've rarely seen such a complete apartment. A very nice hostess.
It was very nice here, the owner immediately welcomed you in a friendly manner and familiarized you with everything. I'll definitely be back when I'm in the area.
Nice stay in this lovely, quiet place with a beautiful garden just outside Hasselt. Easy to do by car and free parking. We had the luxury of being the only guests. Everything you need was available in the holiday home. A very nice side effect was that each room had its own bathroom. Agnes is a very friendly hostess, has an eye for a nice balance between making room for a chat and being on your own...
Been super spoiled. Ideal stay when following a course at the Wellness Academy in Hasselt. Driving a quarter of an hour. Hostess Agnes welcomes you with open arms and is very helpful. This B&B has a soul! Very spacious, clean room with all the trimmings. Quiet location and overlooking pond and garden. Highly recommended!!! I'll definitely return! A sweet and small hotel in the center of Brugges. Good breakfast and kind service! The rooms were quite small but they had beautiful view outside the windows.
The staff was lovely and the room was very clean and comfortable but the room was very noisy. Someone took out the trash/bottles at 11pm every night right next to our room. And we were on the ground floor so we could hear every time someone walked up the stairs or in the room above us.
Very good location. Rooms are clean and the service is great. Didn't try the food but it looks fine.
A very cozy and friendly hotel. Else and David were our hosts and they run a great little place. We had room 5 which was on the 2nd floor and faced the back courtyard. It was very quiet and had pleasant view. Breakfast was served from 8.30 to 10.30. They made great coffee and I always had a croissant. I highly recommend Hotel Bla Bla when visiting Bruges!
Did not do breakfast since was running the race, but buffet options looked very good. Very convenient location, rooms were enough for just myself, and loved there was a courtyard garden where you can bring food and eat, or just sit. Friendly english speaking staff, despite close to main street, it was surprisingly quiet.
We really enjoyed staying here during our Bruges vacation. It was very clean with nicely decorated rooms and a solid breakfast. David was super communicative and fun to chat with.

Well done to the team here
Best service, great decor. The place to go in Knokke
Nice boutique hotel, well located for the coast, comfortable room and bed, good for a quiet sleep. I was early for breakfast and they happily set up the food options and served me in a hurry. I'd recommend this for anyone who likes comfort but wants to get away from the formula chains.
Lovely room with fantastic bed. Quiet and family atmosphere. Nice garden. Good quality, bar and restaurant with a nice and quiet terrace. Delicious fish. Good service and friendly staff. Parking in the building.,200m from the sea and shops.
I sometimes read unjustified criticism, a friend of mine stayed there on my advice on 30/07/2023, his comments are: - Very comfortable and neat rooms. - Good gastronomy and wines. - Very good atmosphere and reception.
I really don’t know what to say… the staff was having friends over “partying” and smoking inside the hotel but at the same time they were extremely nice and tried to meet all our requests. The room was very nice, too bad for the view on the working site next to it… only thing i can say is that the food is crazy expansive for no reason, melon and ham was €45, the caprese €35 which is crazy since it...

#wow ... the fish soup was fantastic. This is how a fish soup is supposed to be. Service was okay, obviously they had a bit of stress according to the "general" lack of personnel. But anyway, a good place to visit in De Haan.
Friendly staff but really expensive restaurant. Check the prices before entering/ordering

Very nice hotel for a 2* Comfirtavle, spacious and clean room. Pretty standard continental breakfast which seemed a bit pricey but we'd definitely stay again.
Lots of shopping! Really liked this property ver quaint. Close to the train, canals and old town. Breakfast was lovely. My only complaint; having to pay for coffee before the 8:30am breakfast. Thanks for the great service. We would definitely recommend this hotel.

The rooms were far too small; you had to crawl over the beds to get to the other side of the room. The bathroom was also very small. The breakfast was great, and the children had plenty of options, but the dining area was far too small.
Budget hotel The Budget Ibis doesn't always have any Receptionists available, so had to check-in at Mercure next-door. The door code stopped working next day. I had to get a new code from the Mercure every day! Which was very inconvenient- having to exit my hotel and walk around the corner to the next hotel. It also made me feel insecure at night, thinking no staff on duty! One night the fire alarm...
Short stay Check in was a bit confusing. I'd checked in online in advance but didn't receive details of how to get into the hotel. Had to enquire at adjacent Mercure hotel and they were able to give access to the Ibis hotel. Not a major problem but could be clearer.
Nice hotel. Friendly personel.
A slice of coastal chill A nice chilled out and well located hotel in one of my favourite Belgian coastal towns
Our stay at Ibis Budget Blankenberge was not good. We arrived around 9pm and there was no one at the desk to check us in. Beautiful family room in a lovely hotel in the city centre where everything was in walking distance. The room was a very good size and very clean with special touches like the towels being made into teddy bears which my daughter loved. I could not fault this hotel and would stay again
Great friendly staff, nice family room, couldn't be more central and a parking garage 20m away

Overall, the hotel was quite pleasant. The biggest advantage—and also the main drawback—was its location.
