Location is perfect close to Borg Square and Christmas markets. We got an Uber from the station, was reasonable price, quick and easy. Hotel is traditional but we stayed in modern annexe at back meaning best of both worlds. Extremely clean and comfortable. Breakfast was buffet style, really relaxed and plenty of choice. The location is excellent, right next to the cathedral and very close to the bell tower square. There are supermarkets and restaurants nearby. The room was larger than expected, clean and odor-free. For tourists, this is a family-run guesthouse with excellent value for money.

Short break in Flanders The hotel is conveniently placed being served by a frequent tram service and across the road from a wide, clean beach. The studio rooms are spacious, comfortable and well-equipped.

Very good location, comfortable bed, clean room, stylish bathroom. The room size is correct, the whole hotel has a nice atmosphere. The staff was friendly and the breakfeast is contain all basic food you need. You can leave your luggage in a separate, closed room.

The rooms are small but functional, breakfast was good fresh and plentiful. Check in/Check out and parking was easy. Location is ideal. One small niggle.....the bedside sockets in our room were at floor level and underneath the bedside shelf. I had to be on my hands and knees to plug in.

Ideally located within walking distance of Bruges itself. Rooms are a good size, with comfortable beds and good showers, or a bath, if preferred. Breakfast offers a good choice of continental style dishes, and the staff, as always, are friendly and approachable. Parking is possible too, plus a sauna and fitness room!! We stayed for a night at Hotel Maraboe. The location was fantastic. The service was friendly and the decor in the hotel was nice. For us there we just a few niggles which included the super thin walls so we could hear everything from the rooms next to us. Standard room. Perfectly fine as a cheap and cheerful no frills room for the night. Furniture and fittings had a fair bit of wear and tear but the room was spacious and it's a really convenient location thanks to its proximity to the station. The one downside is the bed: rather than a double it's two singles pushed together which is quite awkward if you want to cuddle up with your partner in the night

We stayed there for 4 nights at the end of May 2019 and with a large group of 27. We had rented a conference room which was nicely set up and ready to go for our group. The hotel is very convenient to the train station (about a 5-10 minute walk) and is located in a nice quaint/quiet neighborhood. Clean and comfortable, recommended

The room I was given was on the first floor. There was a factory in front of it, which made a constant buzzing noise day and night. The curtains on the windows did not block out the light, which affected my sleep.

The hotel is very similar to the hotel from a Japanese horror game, very atmospheric, but in the bathroom there are cobwebs and dust in the corners, but otherwise a good night's sleep!

...but I know for sure that this hotel is average, nothing more. It's clearly been a while, and especially the common areas could use a serious refresh! The room had a nice, large bed, more than decent sheets, and a working bathroom. It's fine for one night. I didn't pay, so I can't comment on the value for money. Or even on the breakfast.

I had a third floor double, with elevator access, but still with 5 stairs, in case that’s a problem. Very basic hotel, but everything works OK, and it was clean with a comfortable bed with thin pillows. Had a cube refrigerator, a little weak. Good location. The best thing is the location. It is right next to the Christmas market. The owners are very nice. He can explain everything for you. He is always welcome and happy to help you. The room is clean but pretty old style, but it’s very clean. They have all style toilet and that’s it

Very good location but no warning about: 1. Cannot enter the road to the hotel between 1-6pm without prior registration. 2. Even if you drive into the road after 6pm the nearest parking spaces are blocked for construction 3. The bells will ring every 5-10 minutes from the morning onwards 4. A LOT of mosquitoes.

Nice hotel located next to the Grote Markt and really cute streets full of cafes and restaurants. Breakfast buffet is really nice and the staff is friendly. Had a little staycation here for a night and it’s a nice hotel if you’d like to splurge a little. It’s super duper close to the train station and only a short walk to a number of restaurants and fast food chains.

The hotel is very clean and in an excellent location, just a short walk from the train and bus stations, with a tram stop right in front of the property. A wonderful experience at the Carpe Diem Manor. The hotel is located in a quiet area of ​​De Haan. The room is very comfortable, and the bedding is excellent. The staff is incredibly attentive. There are two lovely lounges to relax in and meet other guests. The breakfast is truly superb. Parking is always available. I highly recommend it.

Amazing, old-fashioned hotel and a very nice and communicative staff. You need to be prepared for old furniture and facilities, but they just fit the style of this accommodation. If you have the possibility to try the breakfast: do it! It was one of the best I ever had in a hotel, although (or because of) there was no buffet.

Very special hotel, as if frozen in time when it has first opened more than 30 years ago, or built about 80 years ago I guess. The owner is a lovely and smily guy, and with his lovely friendly dog made my arrival as pleasant is it could ever be. Don't expect any modern gadgets of fancy technologies, but enjoy the real simplicity of great hospitality. Btw- I loved the breakfast too!

Charming place in Art Deco style. Very friendly people. Old but spacious and comfortable rooms. Personal service at breakfast (so much nicer than a buffet). Close to public transportation and city center. There is no restaurant inside the hotel, but the nearby restaurant Minerva (seemingly of the same owners) is worth a visit: it has an excellent Belgian cuisine and offers high class service.

A very friendly and traditional former Antwerp merchants home run by husband and wife. Rooms were spacious and comfortable, but the breakfast in the morning was wonderful - well done! Great for a quiet stay in something a little more special than a large chain hotel.

Gem of Antwerp The first time I slept like a baby in my European trip. I wish to stay longer but I’d make it as one of my stops when I’m in the country. Get the suite. It is the mist comfortable bed. Luxurious pillows and sheets. All you need for a much needed rest while on a holiday.

The Sint Donaas apartment is large and spacious. It is equipped with all comforts and is located just a short walk from the center of Bruges. The welcome was very welcome.

We stayed in the one bedroom apartment, Carmers. Very spacious, kitchen/dining area and a living room. Tom was around when we arrived and helped with bags. The laundry was great, and they have an honor bar with beer and wine. Short walk to a small grocery, and minutes to the main square, but area very quiet in the evening. The hotel is close to the city center, but the room is small and not square. It is just a makeshift place. Not recommended.

The room I got was on the 2nd floor, so there wasn't much of a view. The room was small, but the space was well used. The bathroom, although small, had enough space to store things. There were spare pillows in the room. The bathroom amenities were liquid soap and shampoo. There was free coffee in the lobby. The breakfast was simple but complete.

We had a good experience in the Guilden Vlies hotel. The owners and staff were helpful and friendly and the rooms were clean/as expected. The hotel is an easy 10 min walk to the centre. The hotel decor is cute in the breakfast room and Iiked the no shoes upstairs rules. Any issues we had were quickly solved. Would love to give 4.5 stars as not perfect but 4 feels unfair.

The hotel location is quite good, staff are friendly, and they have a nice basic breakfast buffet. However, the property is not maintained very well and it really shows its age. Additionally, I was there during hot summer months and the lack of air conditioning made it difficult to sleep at times, especially since there are no screens on the windows to keep bugs out when they’re left open.
