The hotel is right on the huge sandy beach. A lot of umbrellas and sunbeds. A real AI hotel with something for everybody. All kinds of meat: fish, pork, lamb, beef, poultry. Special kids food for all kids ages
A lot of swimming pools for kids and adults. An indoor swimming pool, large enough. Excellent wine and liquors, including world known brand names. A huge dining room, a lot of well trained and well supervised staff
Managers among them, actually helping when the place is crowded. I have to mention Hristina Diakova, the best restaurant supervisor I ever met
My entire stay at the hotel was more than great. I would definitely recommend it to friends. I would like to give a special shout out to the staff, who were extremely kind and helpful

The breakfast buffet had plenty of choices, and the pool area was very clean and relaxing. The atmosphere was peaceful and cheerful, ideal for a vacation. We’ll definitely come back next summer!
We were worried about the parking problem in Sunny Beach in general, but luckily the hotel has a parking lot that costs 20 leva per night
Check-in is at 2:30 pm, so if you arrive earlier, they give you a bracelet and you can relax by the pools or go to lunch
The rooms were clean, comfortable, and spacious enough for my wife (and me). The staff were always friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome from the day one

Carpets and rooms smell a little like cigarettes and it is not well staffed for a hotel of this caliber — ie nobody at front desk, nobody answers phone, take your own luggage, grouchy towel ladies, etc

For a higher end hotel I did not find it very good, nearly all the staff where very rude, the food was ok we ate out most nights mainly catered for Germans, no entertainment was on the whole 2 weeks, the room was nice beds made everyday towels changed every day the cleaner stole my mama glasses and when she asked her she said she had not seen them then they appeared back on the bedside table, the poolside...

The staff and management can't do enough to make your stay a perfect one and will go above and beyond what's expected. Martina and Georgi who part of the management will sort any problems you have straight away
I wasn’t expecting such a good hotel. Not only the personally was polite, the rooms were clean and the food was good, but very responsible
Loved it,nothing to much trouble,clean rooms,even had a emergency alarm in the shower room,breakfast not to good,but pleanty of cafes around,pool was a good size,fab music on around the pool,will be back
Bar is open 24hrs and there was plenty of sunbeds but hardly any normal chairs and the ones occupied had some colourful characters on them (you know the 1s I'm talking about, overweight women in a black swim suit covered in nasty faded tattoos with teen daughters who have got kids)
Cleaners will barge into your room a 8 or 9 in the morning without warning so beware if you and the Mrs are having giggity giggity. Beach is a ten minute walk away and friends bar across the road is highly recommended
It's gotten worse. They don't keep it clean. Probably because they're closing.
So of for a quick shower and shave!!! The shower floor was sinking into floor and I'm only 12 stone. I thought I was going to end up in the room below me. Then the shaving mirror fell of in my hand next to the sink

Overall our stay was very positive. The indoor pool was nice and warm for the kids, especially for the colder days
The pool is very small and insufficient for the hotel’s capacity—I am referring to both the indoor and outdoor pools. the food was okay and varied, but there were queues every time. I also believe it is too small
she called a cleaning man to clean the water and then came a tehnician to "fix" the problem, that said to put towels on the floor and call everytime a cleaning men ( wich buy the way yo have a policy to not do that writen on the bathroom wall) it was very rude
Animation team is great!! We played darts and we laughed a lot! Everything is wonderful! Every service here is 10 out of 10. Thanks for a great family vacation!

While some dishes stand out more than others, there’s always something suitable for everyone. It reminded me a bit of our stay at the Barut Acanthus Hotel in Side, though on a slightly simpler scale
The hotel is excellent, the sea is wonderful, the food is excellent. There was a very large selection of food.
I was in this place for a couple of days and I had great experience. I had a lot of fun with the amazing animation team, which I admire truly. The girls were amazing!! We would love to see them again
The restaurant's food is incredibly tasty every day, but it would be desirable. The hotel is an old one and some equipment in the rooms and in other places that require it should already be changed
But the most fun in my experience here were the animators, who are very dedicated to their work, they will never leave you busy, you will always have something to learn from them

All i can say for my 4 days in this hotel is that the Animation team was incredible, we had i lot of fun with the, diverse activities.I will mention Kris and Alex for the fantastic work they did to animate the tourist!!!
Stayed at ihotel for a week couldn't fault it at all hotel spotless room cleaning done every day staff lovely and very helpful entertainment with lucky was a good laugh never laughed so much food good was always large selection Location was good too 5 mins walk to beach
The wine on all inclusive is also of a very nice standard. Pool towels safe and kettle are all free. The pools are really cold but there is a heated pool inside with a lovely spa. Nothing is too much trouble for anyone
We were very pleased with our stay at iHotel. Sunny Beach itself is a worn-out concrete desert, but iHotel is truly an oasis. We particularly liked the lush courtyard. The restaurant balcony had a pleasant view
The pool area had many sun loungers and was a nice place to relax. We were very pleasantly surprised by the level of the restaurant. There were many options with fresh, high-quality ingredients

Everything was very clean, and the pool and garden were lovely places to relax. There were also fun activities like karaoke and shows in the evenings
Beer is fresh and cold always, bartenders are young and friendly, good ice cream. All the rooms have sea view and is very nice. 2 minutes from the hotel entrance to the beach
The rooms are really spacious and have everything you need. The hotel it is right on the beach, inside a pine forrest, part of a group of HVD hotels. So, it is safe to walk around into the park
Beach towels program is short in my opinion, 9-11 and 17-19. CHECK IN AFTER 15 - very late. Didn't like the toilet leaking, it was not very efficient so a lot of water waste
I appreciate that they are not wasting food only for opulence like they do in Turkey. Food is various, there are several options even for vegetarians or for those who prefer healthy food, but not exagerated
Food is good, on all the tastes. yhe the drinks were quality, not some low quality. Now let's talk about some aspects, the refill of the minibar was done only ones after I've complained several times
I am writing the negative comments because I believe that it can be improved and because we have enjoyed the overall experience and we will be back next year
The hotel was quiet due to it being the end of their season which meant a lot of the local shops, bars and restaurants has closed (no fault of the hotel, we didn’t do our research and assumed the season would continue into October - something to be mindful of if you’re booking in 2024)
Rooms were clean enough, towels were changed daily on aour apartment even though I have seen complaints in reviews regarding this subject. As a plus, there were two bathrooms in the suite
We were accommodated at 4th floor, we could hear some music but not loud enough to be disturbing in any way. Downsides:
Parking is not included, price is 20 lv / day. The drinks could do with some improvement

For the second year we have a great time here, the food is varied and delicious, the staff is very kind, the rooms are cleaned well and we dance to mixes of international music that you can't hear anywhere else, and the singer is from last year and we were very happy to see her!
The food was plenty even if you arrived later and it was tasty also. The beach is 5 minutes walk, the only disadvantage is that there are some abrupt stairs on the way
The rooms were very clean, and when they clean it every day they really clean them, not just changing the towels. The food excellent, a lot of choices and the variety of drinks that u don't have time to try all of them
We had a lovely stay in the Grand Hotel Sunny Beach. My family and I were in an apartment on the 9th floor and we had a great room with sea view. The hotel is recently renovated
Patio furniture by the pool is splattered by seagulls and seems, to never be cleaned. The lifts (2) are very grubby and you can wait for ever at busy times
All in all, the hotel was great and we had the most amazing time. The staff was very polite and even solved an issue we had with our room. The beach was quiet and beautiful I even took the most amazing pic of the sunset
Make more effort on our last paying day. My last day was hard and miserable. Sunny beach area makes your holiday, beaches are perfect, just stay in a better hotel, you will be disappointed at the Grand Hotel Sunny beach
Our room (603) was a really nice surprise. Plenty of room for the two of us, plus a sea view balcony. If I have to be critical, the ‘wet room’ style shower is badly designed and flooded the bathroom constantly
The evening entertainment was extremely fun and we had the most amazing time ever. Would definitely recommend and come back next year
It was very fun and very good animators. Very good shows and I have been coming for a few years now and have been very pleased. The beach is very good and also drinks and food very tasty.

Cleaning is thorough, the minibar is refilled daily. Some guests mention a lack of sunbeds in their reviews, but we never had a problem – there was always a free spot both by the pool and on the beach
From the range of activities everyone can choose something if they want to have some fun and get up from the sunbed :-) The animators radiate incredible energy and in my opinion they are the main treasure of Bolero
We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Bolero. You can also find clean rooms, nice pools and good food in other hotels, but here they add something extra – incredibly kind staff and well-prepared entertainment

First the fact that everyone keeps reserving the sunbeds at 6 am, even if it says clearly this is not permited. Second it was full o families with small children, but we knew it wasn’t an adults only from start
The hotel is very clean, very close to the beach. The rooms are spacious but an aspect which needs improving is the cleaning. We asked to have the room cleaned but instead of doing it they simply changed the towels
The room needed vacuuming because there was sand everywhere. Another aspect was the hot water which was cold, although we were accommodated on the second floor. And another aspect-the breakfast was rich but cheap

There very very few options for vegetarian. And the parking was another aspect-few places for too many cars
The room (415) was enormous and beautifully fitted out with a full sea view from the large balcony. The only gripe was that we couldn't get the excellent looking TV to do anything at all
I was shocked as the sea here is so beautiful here and they don't seem to care. There was a day's the weather wasn't great and I was surprised to see no sign of the entertainment staff

for an otherwise first class American hotel. It was too late in the season to enjoy the fantastic pool experience- we'll travel a bit earlier next time
The main restaurant is open multiple times during the day (closed for replenishment), there is a grill restaurant on the pool level also and there are sandwiches and cakes available from the coffee shop on the lobby level
It’s worth noting that in the off-season, the whole resort feels a bit like a ghost town. Almost everything is closed, only one small shop was open (with quite high prices), and there were no buses running
The beach is lovely, and most of the time it felt like my husband and I had it all to ourselves. The only downside was that most of the staff seemed rather serious and rarely smiled
They were efficient and professional, but not very warm. The exception was a lovely lady at reception with long black hair — she was always friendly and smiling, which made a real difference

We stayed at the Flamingo Grand in Albena and were very impressed by how beautiful and spotless the hotel is. Everything was exceptionally clean and well maintained
The positives first: the beds were genuinely comfy, and our room on the 8th floor had a pretty lovely view of the sea. The bar was also a nice surprise, reasonably priced drinks and some really tasty cocktails

Indeed, we had booked and paid for our stay from October 13th to October 24th, 2025, but due to a sudden rise in my blood pressure, I was rushed to the hospital where an abnormal rise was found due to the sulfur contained in the hotel's thermal pool We presented the doctor's note noting the rise in pressure and accepted by the hotel
The resort hotels in this seaside city are right on the beach, which is very comfortable.
I am staying here now and I am shocked how inaccurate all negative reviews are , the hotel is gorgeous- great spa with many saunas and pools, fantastic medical procedures, close to shops, restaurants and only 15 minutes walk to the centre
Direct access to a gorgeous beach- pure heaven! The only slight criticism is , where I agree with some other peoples comments- it would be nice to have a tour desk or at least some info about sightseeing available
The SPA is not bad. I can't imagine how crowded it is if the hotel is even half booked, but out of the season it's fine

We traveled as a group of 20 people and had a fantastic stay. The rooms were excellent – renovated, spacious, and well-equipped (fridge, kettle, TV, air conditioning)
We stayed mostly on the pools as they have 3 on one side and a 4th one on the other side of the hotel which is called relax pool and it's really quite there. And a 5th one that is covered if the weather is bad
Bathrooms came with a full set of toiletries, which was a nice touch. The facilities make it easy to enjoy your time even on rainy days, thanks to the indoor pool and spa
Morning games by the pool, fun activities for the kids, and amazing evening shows — they managed to keep everyone, young and old, entertained
Even small requests were handled quickly by the team. The beach is close by and they have a shuttle for the people that don't want to walk
