Hotels on first line in Bulgaria

Breakfast is the same for the whole week and it is just eatable. Don't go for All inclusive - there are plenty and plenty of big and small cafes and restaurants by the sea with a descent local dishes

The location is very good, the beach is in front of the hotel, the old town and the center are nearby. We were lucky to find a free parking spot in front of the hotel entrance

One of the receptionists was polite (Asya) and also one of the bellhops. Beach towels are provided upon deposit. The rooms are clean and if you book sea view, it is nice

There is elevator only up to the second floor so keep that in mind if you are traveling with an elder person or someone with difficulties to walk. The main thing that made impression was the staff

The two barmen at the lobby and pool bar were asking for tips everytime you wanted to get something even if you have all inclusive and many times we had to wait a lot until the barman smokes his cigarette and comes to give us a cup of water

I know it is indicated in the offer, I do not think that for a 4-star hotel they should limit you in this way. The pool is okay but the children's section is extremely dirty with yellow water

There are umbrellas in the seating area during the summer months but they’d already been cleared away. The worst bit though: people smoke everywhere. It’s disgusting- at the pool, on the balconies, during meals outside

A wonderful hotel with plenty of pools for us to use unfortunately weather was not on our side so ended up in the indoor pool which was amazing, staff were very friendly and helpful could do with smiling a bit more though

Beach was across the road from the hotel did not use though in the height of the summer this area would very busy and wonderful, we made the best of what we had and had a fab time

It’s a bit far from the centre of sunny beach, but it was a lovely walk with lots of bars and shops along the way. I will definitely be booking here again!

Clean towel service around the pool was great

This hotel was amazing the food was great and plenty of choice, staff were friendly and helpful although could smile more, rooms were lovely light and cheery and comfy

Lovely hotel, great staff and entertainers. Only complaint is that the pool was freezing but overall though excellent experience throughly enjoyed our stay

When it was done properly, it still felt convenient to have the room refreshed every day. The location was another strength – within walking distance to the sea and pleasant promenades

Room was very comfortable, location is amazing close to everything, atmosphere is on point, staff is amazing and helpful all the time, entertainment during the day is fantastic and food is more than delicious

The room was spacious, fresh, and well-kept, with comfortable beds that suited our needs perfectly. We had a balcony with a table and chairs, where we could enjoy the evening sun after a day by the pool

Since it was an adults-only hotel, we avoided disturbing noise, and both the restaurant and pool areas were peaceful with nice background music

The location is great, very close to the sea, just a 5 minute walk. The food is fresh and well prepared. We really liked the included wine

Fine for people for kids, as it's safe and has some amenities for children (kid's club, small pool). The "budget" is mostly felt in cheap and quite old room equipment, but everything is clean

One of the best things about this hotel is the cleanliness, the rooms, the pool, the restaurant everything is sparkling clean

Overall, location is nice, very close to the beach, the hotel is safe, but don't expect much from food and especially the drinks. Basically, you get what you pay for

The hotel restaurant has both indoor and outdoor sections so you can eat outdoors when the weather is nice. The hotel's pool is small, but quite nice. The pool rules are reasonable and easy to follow

The staff are young, smiling, hardworking and difficult. Great interior, beautiful reception, clean pool with enough sunbeds

We have been visiting Sunny Beach for the last 15 years (approx) lol and spent our first couple years at other hotels but Laguna park was the best not just for us but for the kids too, when we first went there was a small slide in the middle of the pool that was it, over the years the hotel has improved by what i would say 100%, with its aqua slides ect ect

People complained this year about reserving their sunbeds before 9am and having their towels removed, all you need to do is stay with your beds till after 9am, People complained about the food not hot enough, mine was OK but if you want there is a microwave next to the toasters you could use, People complained about the lifeguards whistling, well its their job to keep everyone safe, people running...

For a person who has visited Laguna park in both the height of the season and the back end I carry on enjoying it, The only let down for Sunny beach is that the shops and restaurants start to close down halfway through September BUT BUT there is still plenty of places to visit

all in all Laguna park is one of the best hotels in Sunny beach if you don't think so you want to try Sun Palace. lol now that was an experience

Kids pool is great but can be chilly early morning for the kids (kids have to go down the slides alone, no big kids or adults allowed to assist) few reviews mention about the pool staff blowing their whistles but in fairness to them they always had a valid reason

Kids club is a good addition for the kids although mine rathered the pool

There is also a massage room at the hotel (massage is for additional payment) and the masseur - Saro - did a wonderful job over just 3 sessions! But most of all I enjoyed the pool with the mineral water by the hotel! Unfortunately we did not meet anyone else from Belarus or Ukraine there, but - on the other hand - my child got exposed to so many new cultures and languages (11 all in all!)

Rare combination of SPA, mneral water and beachfront location. Food delicious and Ukrainian staff was fantastic, kind and very helpful. Relaxed holiday, highly recommend

We visited the hotel in July 2023. The rooms were really nice, we had great view however some things are old and not well-kept. The hotel has a really nice spa center with mineral water pools

A big luxurious hotel just on a beautiful beach with golden sands. It so situated next to a spring with hot mineral water. There are a warm inside pool with mineral water and an outside small pool with hot water

The pools and the combination of the hot water and sea is great. But the personnel was rude and not really nice

Although the hotel is old, if small minuses are removed, it will not be a problem at all (remove mold near the shower, fix the toilet drain in the toilet by the pool, doors that do not close well, cobwebs from the windows, the cooking area is outside, wash the floor on the stairs in the upper restaurant, fix or change sunbeds)

Overall I liked the hotel, the staff is friendly, it is located in a green area, one pool was warm (as I understood they change the water once a week, pour warm water and by the end of the week it is no longer so warm)

We were 14 friends together and we spent 4 wonderful days, between 01-04. When it rained I had free access to the SPA, with an indoor pool with thermal water and 2 saunas. Friendly staff, fast service at the table

Guests are mostly from Europe and Ukraine. There a lot of children rest in the hotel, but guests (as well as their parents) smoked a lot (next to the pool and open restraunt) unfortunately seems it is allowed

BUT water leaks from the shower in the bathroom and because of this there was always water in the sink and toilet area (the cleaning lady solved the problem by  giving an extra old towel)

The only thing is, on the last day the butter ran out, which is a must-have for breakfast)) There was almost no black tea, but you can get by. Drinks, juice, beer, wine were all there

Pretty nice place 👌 amazing view from the balcony, so get the 5 floor room. The breakfast is not amazing but there is a restaurant literally 100 meters in front of the hotel near the sea

We stayed in the Grand Hotel and Spa Primoretz for four nights in October, which is very definitely out of season, but our stay was no worse for that. The hotel is grand in setting as well as name

It sits inside the Sea Gardens, actually a large wooded area which stretches from the edge of the port north along the promenade to the start of the serviced beach area

Entry to the spa came as part of our room rate, and was appreciated. The spa area has an indoor swimming pool, a steam room, a sauna and an aroma sauna

The pool however was kept at as cool a temperature as I’ve ever encountered in an indoor pool. The rest of the spa however was fine

The style is old-fashioned, the sort of old-fashioned that might have been old-fashioned when it was new. Predictable for the era in which the hotel was built but perhaps not for when it was renovated

dinner (evening meal) difficult to get tables because its the only seating area for the evening so once people where sat they tended to stay sat all evening

The beach is clean,very comfortable entrance to the sea with children. We live in room 602, with a slice of sea view. The hotel is quiet autumn, a Wake up service. Wifi works perfectly in the room

Near bus stop (2 minutes) and a good supermarket. Room cleaned daily, very clean. The air conditioning in the room works. The hotel has its own pool with free sunbeds for residents

Very tasty,always eggs,pasta, sausages, meats,sausages,vegetables very much,a variety of drinks,desserts and fruits. All the staff are very friendly

I have read other reviews that say the staff are rude but that couldn't be further from the truth. I think the issue is the language barrier because the staff are all very polite when you speak with them

The room is just great, sometimes the truth were shortages of hot water. The room was a extra charge but we used it as a refrigerator. The hotel has a restaurant, which is just gorgeous cocktails

Our room had a private balcony looking over the infinity pools and the sea. It was beautiful to just sit there and look out and watch the sunrise

During the day the frozen Daquari's were absolutely amazing but as soon as 8pm came the bar staff seemed to pour half a bottle of Captain Morgans into one - one night in particular the tables outside were just full of abandoned Daquari's and we were laughing about this with the other guests 🙈🙈 The rooms are designed with quality in mind and all the fixtures, fittings, wall paper ect are high quality

The bed was the comfiest bed I have ever slept in and the pillows were like clouds. The hotel is very close to Flower street where there are many pubs, clubs, fairground rides and shops

The free indoor pool and spa (sauna, hamam, etc) is very good. There are many spa treatment packages

Helpful staff and comfortable accommodation. The sea nearby. Shops, banks, exchange offices, restaurants and beautiful places to stay within walking distance.

I have stayed for 5 nights for mini vacations with my wife and her sister. The hotel is a very beautiful building in the centre of the town. The rooms are OK, but need a kind of renovation

For a 4-star hotel, it should offer more things in the room, for example slippers for bath. Cleaning of roon was available every day and very early. Polite and helpful staff, but only few of them speak english or german

We have tried once the restaurant and it was also real good. The hotel has an excellent roof garden bar (with jakuzzi!!!), There having a great view to the city and the sea we spent some nights with a drink

It offers everything they promise: great views, comfy beds, tasty breakfast, very good spa and medical services- I am very grateful for what have been delivered to me, especially the medical attention and treatments- thank you so much team, for looking after me so well! I am feeling better already

Little disturbing was that sunbeds around the pools were always occupied (reserved with towels etc) and nobody did not seem to care

Food was varied and delicious at all meal times, however at breakfast it was especially busy and sometimes hard to find a table to sit at. The pool snack bar had excellent food choices and the food was quick to arrive

We had a lovely time at Hotel Lion as a group of 3 in August 2024. The hotel is lovely and clean, our room was spacious and comfortable with a pool view, balcony was a bit small but was still nice

The hotel is in a great location and not a long walk to get to the main ***** of Sunny Beach and the beautiful beach

I wish there was music around the pool area, it would be a nice touch, however there is music at the pool snack bar

If you are looking for somewhere to go in sunny beach I would recommend you to come to this hotel the stuff are lovely and the rooms are very nice and clean! I didn't have any food there as my mam looked the reviews and there was only 1 good review about the food and the rest was bad but if you stay here you are literally on the strip and there are many nice restaurants there

Basic hotel. Nice friendly staff and close to shops and bars

It has a real homely feel and that is all down to the staff making you feel this way. They were polite, friendly, amazing and so helpful. The room was spacious, clean and tidy and the breakfast was just lovely

Do not have great expectations here. I believe it is close to two stars.

The beach was just around 3-4 minutes away and sunbeds were available free of charge. Affordable transport to + from Primorsko/Kiten was available every 30 minutes. Great opportunities for a walk

Some drawbacks, mostly mentioned for people to be aware and know what to expect: - long walk to the beach - small uphill road from restaurant to rooms complex (not seniors friendly) - bugs everywhere, especially on the road mentioned above (everybody was waving hands to protect themselves - got them in ears, nose,mouth, eyes) - there are no double rooms next or even close to eachother (they are at...

Beach is very clean and water depth is small (knee deep) for about 50m, making it very child and pet friendly. The hotel complex is huge and blends with the forrest around it

Clean, confortable, nice mix of forest and beach. Food varied and fits all tastes. Pet allowed in room and on the restaurant deck

Our family room was lovely and clean, cleaning service was on duty every day. Variety of food and drinks at restaurant. Only one minus for toilet by the pool - should be cleaned up at least one more time during the day

Yes I stayed at hotel SHIPKA for 14 nights from 31st May until -4th June 2024 I want to say thank you to all the staff especially NADA, VENERA, and the Bar staff and to MUMCHIL who got a chair for me me to sit round the swimming pool as the sun beds are to low for me the staff are a credit to this hotel Also the food is excellent the only complaint I have about the food and I raised this with NADA...

Sunny Beach was good place to relax. The people in Bulgaria are fine. Food and grocery are expensive! However, Hotel Shipka did not offer any night entertainment or excursions tours

The rooms are a bit small, there's not a lot of space for your belongings, but if you plan on spending most of your time on the seaside or touring the city, then it won't bother you, like it didn't bother us

The outside and indoors pools were really nice and clean as well, although the water was a bit cold at first, but still enjoyable

The poolside bar was really clean, and whenever there was a crowd there, the manager/owner would help out so everyone got what they wanted in due time

It's like a mini village. You have everything you could need there, including a medical centre. Unfortunately the guests are very unreasonable. Some smoke in rooms and the smoke goes into ventilation.

The smoke goes into ventilation and from there in the other rooms, so that sucks. And we got Covid from our holiday, because of the lack of guests' hygiene...

Went for a week's fly and flop holiday. Weather was amazing, not too hot. Hotel was tucked away at the end of Sunny Beach ***** so its a bit quieter than the rest of it

Hotel is different, but quirky but we liked it. All usual amenities, right on the beach, great pool and gardens. Plenty of choice, fresh and no need to go hungry. Could be little tastier but maybe that's just me

Alternatively it is a lovely strill or for those who need help there is the Neesebar Mobility services where you can hire a mobility scooter for approx £10 per day

Can't say enough good things about this resort hotel. First of all, the location is perfect. It's on the north side of Sunny Beach, away from much of the touristy/divey shopping and bars and stuff, which are fun

If you wanted entertainment you could always go across to the All Inclusive side - just remember to take your own drinks. The pool was absolutely freezing but there is also am indoor heated pool if you prefer that

All good, very pleasant hotel. The way the hotel is designed is that there's no connection to outside - no balcony, terrace.... Just an air-conditioned room... some people may like it, some not.

This is the 4th time we've stayed at this hotel! The location cannot be beaten, just at the heart of Burgas, accessible by car, foot (bus as well)

The pool, sauna, and gym were all fantastic, and the elevator was fast even for the upper floors. Staff were extremely helpful — they even cooked for us after the kitchen had closed when we arrived late

The landmark hotel of the city of Burgas. Built in 1976, totally refurbished in 2000, it is very fancy. Impressive breakfast with large variety of products

The hotel is in a wonderful and convenient location (very close to the center, the bus station and the sea). The staff is very kind and always ready to help. The space was always clean and tidy

All facilities from ironing to spa available but not included in the room price So it is the case of parking (20 leva/10 euros per day)

It's not a little issue but everything other was great - hotel services, pool, interiors and exteriors and the 24/7 busy main street of Sunny Beach

Wild sandy beaches are less than 1 km far away and it's impossible to avoid the busy street. Great for bigger families, group of friends etc. Nice place to enjoy vacation day and wild Bulgarian summer nightlife

It's a good hotel for the price. The best it's at the beach and has all facilities needed to spend lazy and relaxing time or sleepless night thus satisfying almost any taste

Best part about this hotel is the entertainment, vlad was great with us and anything we needed he was our first port of call and made our holiday a great laugh, will definitely come back in future

Stayed here on a lads holiday for 8 days, hotel manager and workers were all great and looked after our needs and room was cleaned everyday. The food is good and always fresh
